Our family went here for a weekend dinner. The wait wasn't too bad...about 20 minutes. Food was good. Nice large portions so we even had leftovers for lunch the next day. My wife and I also split a beer flight. Plenty of choices so she chose two that she liked and I chose the other two. The price for the flight various based on the beer or cider that you select. As for parking, we had parked in a nearby parking structure so we didn't have to walk far at all. read more

Quality of food was great. We ordered the chicken nachos. They were different from traditional nachos but they were delicious. Chicken avocado sandwich was very flavorful. Our server Jennifer was exceptional. She greeted us promptly and made sure we were taken care of throughout our meal. She knows what she is doing and knows how to do her job well. read more

My favorite go to restaurant. I always order the Mac & Cheese. The adult version with the truffle, bacon, chicken & mushrooms. I recommend it to everyone when they are looking for a spot to eat. They used to have the crème brûlée dessert a while back with dark chocolate on the bottom and it was to DIE FOR. I usually grab my favorite IPA and enjoy a platter of the Ahi Tuna Nachos. Again, one of my go-tos. If you have the opportunity, you have to try it out. read more

We visited right when they opened and they seated us immediately. Parking was right behind the restaurant which was convenient. I ordered a mimosa and the Poke Nachos. The mimosa was pretty strong but tasty. The Poke Nachos were a perfect portion and were so delicious. The fish tasted so fresh and the serrano peppers added a nice kick to the meal. They used a lighter ginger sauce that didn't make the chips soggy. Can't wait to come back here. read more

Yard House has always been a staple restaurant in my rotation and one that I will always gladly recommend (at least for happy hour). I've been coming to yard house for over 15 years at this point, but in college I started going to the Irvine location as it was closer to my college campus. During my college years, we would go to yard house just for happy hour for a nice treat out even before we were all able to legally drink. Where else would you be able to get a full plate of poke nachos for les than $10?!?! Came back to the Brea Yard House location with my mom on a Friday afternoon around 4:30pm and it took us about 10 minutes to get seated as it was pretty packed throughout the entire restaurant. On this day we decided to get an order of poke nachos as we always do and decided to be a little adventurous and try the truffled mushroom pizza. The poke nachos were good as always (sometimes during HH they can be a little on the skimpy side) and the mushroom pizza was PHENOMENAL. We both knew that we would like the pizza, but we both LOVED the pizza and plan on ordering it the next time we come back. I also got a half yard of the Ace Guava Hard Cider (which isn't necessarily a GREAT deal even during happy hour), but it's fun to be able to sip out of the ridiculously large glass, especially since they now offer seltzer and cider options- perfect for people who don't drink beer. Will be back again in the near future for Happy Hour (in my opinion this place becomes a special occasion restaurant outside of happy hour as the entrees can be kinda pricey)! read more

PSA TO EVERYONE THIS ESTABLISHMENT HAS ROACHES!! I used to go to this yard house every other week and last week there was a cockroach on our plate that ended up walking on our table . It was disgusting and we notified the manager and all they could do was refund some of our food items even though we had barely gotten our food when the accident happened and the plates were barely touched cause obviously who's gonna eat after that? Anyways, I asked to get in contact with their upper management since they acted like it was no big deal but nobody has reached out to me. It's honestly super gross and disappointing that I was going to this place so much and they don't even seem to care that there was a cockroach walking on my table and on our plates! Be careful guys I am posting this so everyone can be aware. I wish I could've taken a video because this needs to be investigated they could be infested with roaches for all I know... read more

Checked in at 4:45 for a table for 11. We waited and waited and waited and finally got a table at 5:30. The place was half empty when I checked in and I understand that sometimes they don't have enough servers to cover all the tables. When we finally sat down, got our menus and were asked for our drink orders, it was 5:45, happy hour was almost over. We ordered our drinks and we told her we'd like to order our food before happy hour was over. It took a while before we got our drinks from the bar but I can understand with happy hour, people are ordering drinks before it ended. Anyway, we finally got our food at 6:15 and we were able to enjoy the evening. We've been to the happy hour at least 7-10 times the last 3-4 years and this was the worse experience. Very disappointing to see this happen because my grandkids love happy hour at Yard House. We invited a couple of friends, their first time at happy hour and they were pleased at the food choices at discounted prices. They said best happy hour in town. read more

Yard house is my absolute favorite hands down. Oh and I say this because I only came for happy hour on Tuesdays. I went every other Tuesday for like months.. whats not to like about them they have like super super cheap appetizers which can just lead to a meal with happy hour on alcohol as well. Always get the chicken nachos. The sliders are decent but for the price gtfo. Chicken tenders. Last just a preference but I love to get the bbq pizza also the calamariis always fire. This place made me a nacho fanatic lol I always have to compare to yardhouse being 8 dollars during hh. I tried their burgers on the regular menu a few different ones ans they are still bomb.... but real talk all the shit I order will come out to be like 40 something and some change... the CRAZY. The service is always great atleast all the times I went which is probably 20+. Young attentive servers. Honestly I don't know about their menu and stuff on normal days but I can tell you no bullshit if you go during happy hours for drinks or food this is the best place I have ever been. I love you guys thank you and thanks for having such reasonable to not even reasonable prices as in to cheap during this ridiculous inflation for your food during happy hour. read more

Went for a later lunch on a Friday, got there before it got too busy. We were able to get happy hour deals. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. It's always busy highly recommend making reservations if possible. It's always very loud due to large crowds and sport events. read more

We came here on Friday for happy hour from 3 - 6 pm (certain appetizers were half off) We ordered: - Four Cheese Spinach Dip ($8.25) this had spinach mixed with a blend of feta, jack, parmesan, and cream cheese. I wished it was a lot hotter as it came out pretty cold. Some chips were stale as well which was upsetting :( 2/5 - Poke Nachos ($8.50) this had marinated raw ahi, fresh avocado, cilantro, serrano chilies, green onions, nori strips, toasted black & white sesame seeds, drizzled with sweet soy ginger sauce, sriracha aioli and creamy white truffle sauce over crispy wontons. This was much better than the 4 cheese spinach dip as the "chips" seemed more fresh. However, they could provide a couple of more pieces of marinated raw ahi as the ratio was a bit off. 4/5 - Buffalo Chicken Pizza ($9.00) this is a thin crust pizza and it had boneless buffalo wings, mozzarella cheese, bleu buffalo sauce, ranch, & green onions. The amount of toppings they gave on here was perfect. Good amount of chicken with every bite and I wished they did the same for the poke nachos!!! However, bleu buffalo sauce is not my cup of tea but if you're a big fan of this flavor you should get it BUTTTT the pizza came out kinda cold as well which was sad. It would've been much better if it was warmer/hot . 3.5/5 - Bread Pudding with Creme Anglaise ($10.49) seemed really unique so we gave it a try. This had vanilla bean & caramel sauces topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was not so good. The bread pudding tasted really stale and old so we probably would not get it again. 1/5 *Overall, I wouldn't come here if it wasn't for happy hour. Food definitely needs to be more hot/warm as well.* read more

You can't ever really go wrong with the Yard House. This particular one is great because of the location, plenty of public parking around and lots of other things within walking distance including the laugh factory and regal cinemas. We've been visiting this location for years and have never had a bad experience. Staff is always friendly. There's always a good match on TV, the music is always great (like every other Yard House). Family friendly at pretty much any time PLUS a patio. The food is always great, but just wish there was a little more quality control as there have been occasions when we had to send dishes back. Will definitely keep visiting though, and would highly recommend. read more

Lunch with friends is one of my favorite things to do. Food brings people together on so many different levels. I decided to try something different than my usual go-to items. This caught my eye on their menu... "EVERYTHING-CRUSTED" AHI TUNA : seared rare, shiitake mushrooms, house steak sauce, arugula, white truffle sauce, toasted brioche bun with sweet potato fries. This will definitely satisfy your taste buds! It's a festival of flavors!! The toasted brioche bun was perfect for this sandwich. Upgrade to their sweet potato fries. So good! You can also get it with lettuce to replace the bun and a house salad instead of fries. They also have a variety of items that are under 700 calories. CHICKEN BOWL: grilled chicken stir-fried sesame brown rice & red quinoa, shiitake mushrooms, snap peas, bok choy, carrots, red onion, baby broccoli, red pepper flakes. It came beautifully plated. You can also get steak instead of chicken. If you're going for gluten free, you can opt out of the soy sauce but it may make the dish kind of dry so maybe add the balsamic vinaigrette instead. read more

5 stars for the beer selection, TVs/vibe, and appetizers. Got the poke nachos (chips they use are SOOO light, airy, and crispy), truffle fries, and boneless wings (lemon pepper and Korean chili - both were flavorful and good). All were delicious and i usually don't like boneless wings but these were so moist and juicy. My friends got other appetizers too that I didn't try and said they were all solid. 0 stars for all the entrees we got and the ordering system. We got a bunch of entrees (from pizza, pasta, salad, sandwiches) and every single one tasted like they marinated the protein in salt for years and cooked it. Couldn't eat anything without commenting how disgustingly salty it was. The servers were attentive and nice but we thought it was odd they gave us 1 tablet to order all the food/alcohol (there were over 15 of us) BUT half the food we couldn't order from the tablet and had to order through them. Was quite confusing and odd - causing order mix ups. All in all, would come back to watch a game, munch on appetizers and drink a beer. read more

Id give NO STARS!!! As soon as we walked in the hostess Annalise seemed to have a problem w her attitude cause she was just a bitch. She took our number and name down and told us it would be a 15 min wait. Soon as we got the text to be seated, We went to let her know and she responds w "how can I help you".. LIKE BITCH YOU JUST NOTIFIED US THAT OUR TABLE IS READY! Then we get seated, no utensils on the table, no napkins.. Nicole greets us assuming we drink alcohol and offers us margaritas.. takes our orders and never comes back to check on us.. no refills, nothing. We got our food from a runner.. lobster noodles had no taste and my husband had to add all the fuckin seasonings.. rice and beans was mushed up. But thanks Amber (you shoulda been our waitress).. for gettin what we asked for AFTER EVERYTHING WAS SERVED - salt, pepper, cheese, refills and napkins and utensils. By far, the worst customer service experience. These hoes need to get jobs they actually want to work. read more

Stopped by yesterday, Wednesday June 24th, my friend and I arrived at 5pm, we put my name and number down and we were told by hostess Nicole it was only going to be a 10-15min wait. I thought to myself "perfect we'll make happy hr!" Time is now 5:40pm, I've seen at least 2/3 other parties that arrived after us get seated before us. I went up to the same hostess and expressed my concerns "I put my name and number down with you, you said only a 10-15min wait, I've watched other parties that arrived after me get sat down before me, what's going on?" She replied something with "what's the name of your party, what's the phone number" like as if she was barely putting me down on the waitlist when I've been waiting for 40mins now. I told her "we specifically came for happy hr" and she said "we can get you seated in a few mins" Thankfully we did get seated and was barely able to put an order in before happy hr ended at 6. Food took a long time to get to the table, terrible presentation of the food as well, we asked for no tomatoes on our nachos and they still came with tomatoes. If the food is going to be a while they should at least make the food correctly. Overall had a BAD experience at this location and will not be coming back here. Train your hostess Nicole to work on her attitude. Terrible, terrible, terrible! read more

Went here for dinner before the improv show, only because I had a gift card. The quality of food has sadly declined. We started with the chicken lettuce wraps.. these used to be my favorite. They are far from it now 6/10. We also got the calamari appetizer which I would rate an 8/10. I feel like calamari is pretty hard to mess up though. We then decided to try one of their "new" dishes, so we shared the shrimp and chicken Pad Thai. HUGE mistake. It was disgustingly saucy. The sauce took away from the entire dish, and killed my taste buds. I would rate that dish a 1/10. The server was a super sweet girl though and she was constantly touching our table to make sure we were taken care of. read more

My favorite dish at Yard House is the jambalaya. I was craving it last week, so I placed a online order. Like everything else, the price has increased and the quality has went down, but to charge $24.99 for a jambalaya dish with 4 dried up shrimp, 4 thin sausage slices, a spoonful of the tiniest crawfish, and very little chicken is criminal! I think the takeout orders are leftover feom the previous day. I was so disappointed. We need to stop giving these restaurants our money because the way they have increased the prices while skimping on ingredients and portions is wrong. Maybe if they lose enough business, they will stop? And, it is too loud in the restaurant! read more

Really disappointing service. Our food came out but we didn't get utensils or napkins until much later, so we couldn't even start eating right away. My drink never came, and the sauce I asked for never arrived either. The server seemed distracted and was talking to other people while we were trying to get his attention. He only checked in after we had already paid and were leaving. Overall a frustrating experience ...honestly felt like the service was bad enough that some kind of refund should have been offered. We didn't even finish our food because we didn't get what we needed or asked for. read more

Great place in Downtown Brea to have appetizers or a drink at their large bar. They have a wide variety of beer on tap! Paul helped us out last weekend and he was great! My fiancé and I shared the Margherita pizza with a 10 piece crispy traditional wings (whiskey black pepper & Korean chili garlic are fire flavors!) I must admit that the Yard House Poke Nachos is probably my fav bar food. There, I have to state that before I go on and gush about them. I recently came in and had the Poke Nachos and while I normally have one of their many delicious beers, especially their ambers or reds today I decided to go with the 9 oz Avalon Cab Sauvignon. The bar tenders are always great and today was no exception. The service was friendly and quick. They typ let you try so today when I asked if I could taste the Avalon they were quick to give me a quick sample. It was very good so I stayed with wine instead of a beer today. Oh and I got to use my Bday dessert; how cool is that! read more

Food was so very good. I had the Vampire tacos, no sour cream...substituted all beans for the rice. Very tasty..a little spicy. My daughter had the pork burger with the berry ketchup on the side. Place wasn't too busy for a Sunday evening. Really nice looking inside. Everyone was so friendly. Our waiter, Matt, asked if we were celebrating anything. I was celebrating a new job. They surprised me with a mini cheesecake brulee and wrote congrats on it. And it was devine. read more

Went on a Tuesday night! Our server, Daniel, was amazing super attentive and very nice! Not pictured but got the Truffle cheese burger medium rare. Things always rock at the Yardhouse Brea. Never had a bad time there. Let's start with the service. One of our favorite servers, Dylan hasn't been there in a while. We heard he is studying abroad. Come back Dylan you are one of the best servers ever. Also a shout out to Nathan, Nick and Rj. You kids make every experience there a great one We often sit at the bar and watch all the 80s and 90s Rock videos. Such an awesome vibe. We love the bartenders, Paul, Barret, Darian and Kelly. Always so patient with my indecisiveness with my drink orders. They make us feel so welcome every time we are in. I have to be honest, we have never had a bad meal there. Everything is amazing and they do a great job with bringing in new dishes with the changing seasons. Speaking of that, this year they were open for Thanksgiving. We didn't expect much since this was a first for them (I think) but let me just say, YARD HOUSE YOU NAILED IT!! So much so that we will be back this year for thanksgiving! Honestly it was that good. The Cajun turkey was amazing but so was the roasted turkey and the fixings were off the charts. Truly I cannot say enough about the Brea Yard House. I've been to many but this one is the best of them ALL. Never disappoints! We came here for green beer and dinner on St Patty's. We got the calamari, Buffalo wings, and the poke nachos. They were all pretty solid. I got the steak bowl which was good but the sauce was a little salty. Would come back for a group thing. read more

I wanted to update my review after a recent visit. Additional new items we tried were the Jambalaya and onion rings that were so crispy and tasty. Ordered the small Jambalaya with noodles and it was so flavorful with a good ratio of proteins and seafood. Was a bit disappointed when the last dish took awhile to come out for my two starving boys who were sharing some sliders but that was the only glitch. read more

Yard House is always a classic option to grab a drink. I do love the extensive drink menu. The food menu is also extensive, but I noticed a lot of my favorite items are no longer on the menu. This place is always always packed. I don't do well with packed spaces, I get very claustrophobic. We stopped in last weekend and were able to get two seats at the bar, which was a rare occasion. I loved the design/ art work on my martini. Very classy touch. I haven't eaten here in years, I usually just enjoy some drinks as a night cap. read more

We sat for over **20 minutes** without anyone coming to our table--not even to offer water. I eventually had to get up and ask someone to send a server over. What made it even more frustrating was watching other parties who arrived **15-20 minutes after us** receive water immediately and have their orders taken before anyone even acknowledged our table. After finally waiting another 10 minutes to receive our water, we had to track down our server again just to place our food order because no one returned to check on us. By that point, we had been sitting long enough and were more than ready to order. To make matters worse, we ordered an appetizer of coconut shrimp about five minutes after placing our entrée order, but it never arrived. After we had already finished our meals, we asked to cancel it, only to be told that our server had never entered the order in the first place. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for the poor service. It lacked flavor and was very underwhelming. This experience was frustrating enough that I cannot recommend Reunion Kitchen. I initially wanted to believe this was simply an off day or an inexperienced server, but after hearing from two other people I know who described nearly identical experiences, it seems this may be a recurring issue. One thing that left me especially uncomfortable was seeing guests who arrived well after us receive prompt attention while our table was repeatedly overlooked. I can't say why that happened, but it certainly made us question whether we were being treated differently. I sincerely hope the restaurant looks into its service standards and ensures every guest is treated with the same level of respect and attention.

One side was the fingerling potato pizza, especially after our server told us the story about the owner's daughter wanting fingerling potatoes on her pizza and how that helped inspire the restaurant. Obviously, after hearing that story, we had to try the pizza that started it all! And it did not disappoint. I can definitely see myself ordering that again. The other half was the salami pizza with the honey drizzle. It was supposed to have some heat -- my sister could taste it, although I couldn't -- and the honey made it a really interesting combination. Not something I would normally think to order, but definitely worth trying. I also ordered the citrus agave, thinking it was basically a fancy name for lemonade. It wasn't! Lemon, orange and lime made it much more interesting, with just a slight bitterness from the citrus that balanced the sweetness. Delicious and different. We sat upstairs, where there was a wonderful breeze coming through on a summer evening. The whole atmosphere was charming and relaxed, the service was excellent, and the food was memorable. The biggest surprise? Terra is right near my office, and I never knew it was there. Definitely a 10/10. I came because of a recommendation, and now I'm recommending it to everyone else. I will absolutely be back.

IF I had the option, I would give them 0 stars Racism still exists, and I along with my friends unfortunately encountered it at the YARDHOUSE in DOWNTOWN BREA. My party consisted of people of diverse cultures and ethnicity. They made us wait for about 3 HOURS while certain parties only had to wait for about 30 MINUTES! At first, I didn't think much of it and didn't want to let it get to me, but after waiting for so long and seeing how unfair it was, I couldn't help but notice that the parties they gave priority to were all Anglos. They also had about the same number of guests as we did! THERE were NO RESERVATIONS allowed for anyone, it was based on "first come first served" So there was no way possible for them to have receive priority seating. When I approached the staff and employees about the situation, they spoke to me with disrespect PRIOR to me saying anything. they were extremely unhappy and irritable and spoke to me like a child and with sarcasm. The hostess lied, stating that our table was getting cleaned and we'd be seated in a few minutes..then an hour passes by and we're STILL not seated. Even the MANAGER lied to me stating that the groups who were seated before us were only groups of 10, which is a lot "easier" to accommodate in comparison to our group of 20. First of all, at least one of those groups had 15 people and Secondly, their tables could have been combined to accommodate us. The manager even showed me the guest-list. We were "next" to be seated. Beneath our names were the parties who came in later. I couldn't help but notice that about 5 parties beneath us were crossed out an already taken care of..hmm..OH and not only that, but some of those parties had a double-digit number of guests. I couldn't catch the specific # of guests because the manager quickly pulled it back. Our server also lied about a gift-card my friend used to help pay for the bill. It was a $50 gift-card, but the server said it was only worth $5. She supported her lie by stating that gift-cards depreciate $5 per month. But that still wouldn't make sense because the gift-card was purchased in Dec. 2005. $5 x 24 months = much more than $50. My friends even told her when they purchased it BEFORE she lied. So she actually had time to correctly THINK of a lie that would actually be more accurate and convincing. She obviously wasn't very smart. 15 mins later, she returns saying "I'm so sorry, my manager just checked it and its $50" .......RIIGGHHHHHTTTTTT..... I have never felt so DISCRIMINATED and DISRESPECTED in my ENTIRE LIFE! The employees did not seem to CARE the least bit of other races. "Coincidentally," all of the employees I saw working that evening were ANGLO. This is BY FAR the MOST RACIST EXPERIENCE I have EVER encountered! The staff and employees were appallingly terrible with service, but excellently great in displaying ethnocentrism and ruining what was supposed to be a special and memorable occasion. Think what you want, this was just our experience. I'm NEVER going back there EVER again. I will be contacting their home office. If THIS is what it is like at the yardhouse HEADQUARTERS, then I can't imagine how it must be at its other locations. read more

I recently visited Yard House in Brea, CA and had a great experience overall. Here's why I'm giving it a four-star review: Firstly, the atmosphere of the restaurant is fantastic. It's a large and spacious establishment with plenty of seating options, making it great for groups or intimate dinners. The decor is modern and sleek, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. The food at Yard House is also very good. The menu offers a wide variety of options, from salads to burgers to pizzas. The portions are generous, and the quality of the ingredients is apparent. I particularly enjoyed the truffle fries and the poke bowl. The service at Yard House is efficient and friendly. Our server was attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. They also provided recommendations based on our preferences and helped us navigate the menu. The only downside to my experience was the noise level of the restaurant. It can get quite loud, making it difficult to have a conversation at times. However, this is to be expected in a popular establishment like Yard House. Overall, I would highly recommend Yard House in Brea, CA for its great atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly service. I visited the Yard House in Brea for dinner, as my little cousin wanted me to meet his girlfriend. I have always been a fan of Yard House, and this was my first time at this particular location. For drinks, I ordered a mule with Jameson, his girlfriend had a margarita, and my cousin got a beautifully presented cocktail served in a martini glass (unfortunately, I can't recall the name). As for the food, I decided to try something new. I usually go for their burger wrapped in lettuce, but this time I opted for the sausage and pepperoni and sausage pizza. His girlfriend went with a burger, and my cousin had shrimp pasta. Everything we ordered was flavorful and good and the drinks hit the spot. The only hiccup was when our server accidentally dropped a drink, which splashed all over our section, from the chairs and my cousin's shoes and pants to the neighboring table. It seemed like she might have been new and a bit nervous, so we were understanding about it. Despite the small mishap, the overall experience was enjoyable. I walked into the restaurant 2 weeks before my boyfriend's birthday to reserve his special night for 10 guests. The actual night of, our table was not ready on time, and the surprise was a bit ruined. The table was set out on their outside patio area, which was also not my first choice, being I had reserved 2 weeks in advance. Upon seating, we all noticed a very awful smell coming from one of their stand up heaters. It was not quite cold enough to warrant a heater so we asked that it be turned off, since the smell of gas was making us all grossed out right before our birthday dinner. It continued to be turned back on and off throughout our dinner. Our waitress was apparently having a bad night because she kept rushing us through our meal. She tried to clear plates away while we were still eating off them, and tried to ask us what we wanted for dessert right after our food was served. Everything about this experience was just "off." Went out for my son's birthday. We were on our way to the Cheese Cake Factory, but decided to try this place out - first time here. When we sat down, my wife asked for an alcoholic beverage and the waitress asked her if she is under 35. After ordering our drinks, we did not receive any straws so we asked for some and the server said; "We're out of straws, and walked away." Our original server then brought back some straws and stated that she found some. We sat for another 20 minutes, and our server did not even come back and acknowledge us within that time frame. I asked her about it, and she didn't even think anything was wrong with that. And asked if there was something I needed. From my experience, a simple are you guys doing okay works. I can't say the service was good at all comparing to all the restaurants I've being. This will be my last time here. Sorry for the bad review but it's just my honest opinion. read more

We had a fantastic dining experience at Yard House in the Irvine Spectrum! The Spicy Tuna Stack was an absolute standout--its vibrant flavors and fresh ingredients made it unforgettable. The Cheeseburger Sliders were simple in presentation but packed with bold, savory flavors. For our entrees, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich was flavorful and perfectly cooked, while the Grilled Cheese and Tomato Bisque was decent but nothing extraordinary. On the drink side, the Silly Sour Beer was a fun and delicious choice, and the Blonde Ale was smooth and refreshing. Service was excellent--our server, Kyle, was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The staff even went out of their way to change the TV so we could watch a soccer game, which was a thoughtful touch. With quick service, great food, and an accommodating staff, we'd definitely come back again! Highly recommend it for a casual night out or to catch a game. read more

Called in with a simple fish question, sounded like an unskilled teenager answered the phone and had no idea how to answer "do you have any Atlantic Ocean fish". Got put on hold for 5 minutes to answer this monumental question, then got hung up on while on hold. Called back, put on hold again, then seemed to be forgotten about because when the next person picked up, she had no idea what I had been waiting on and said "No we don't have any". This is strange since Yardhouse has Norwegian Salmon and Haddock, which is supposed to be from the Atlantic. In any case, hire some damn people that are a little skilled in menu offerings and basic telephone etiquette. I won't be eating here again, there are plenty of other Yard House locations with some competence. read more

Went to the yardhouse for football Sunday . The Place was empty for a 10am game . We asked the manager To turn one of the many TV to the Bengals game, but he refused. i've been going to this yard house since its opening and know many of the staff . Started to walk out, but one of the waiters we know seen us walking out . As a regular told us to wait he will see if he can talk to the manager. he came came back apologize and said the manager would not turn the TVs. Love the Yard House in Chino Hill but this location in Brea really sux! Will not come back again. It's huge here, really enjoy the patio seating and that's about it. They really work need to work on their customer service, our server has been giving us a face for I don't know what reason. Yes she was attentive but never a single smile or right attitude the whole time we dine there. Feel like she should be working at post office, DMV or even be a teacher more. I just found out that you can now get a plethora dishes made with vegan meats. And not just any meat, Gardin. The best of the best. I had the sliders and chicken strips, and chicken wings. They were all pretty good. I liked the chicken strips better than the wings. seemed to be pretty much the same thing, but the wings were tossed in the sauce and the strips you get to dip. Also the strips come with fries and the wings do not. Coming during Happy hours is a must! You get a much better price. You are limited to a selection of items, but still some good choices. read more

Yard house is such a disappointment. Yeah they have a lot of beers on tap, but what good does it do if that they have terrible service. The bar tenders are complete idiots, my buddy and I went for his 21st birthday and apparently the two bartenders there tonight wouldn't serve him alcohol because he turned 21 at midnight. Apparently these idiots tonight that you had to wait until the next business day before you could drink on your 21st birthday. Basically they had trouble understanding that at midnight it's the start of a new day. read more

Came here on a Sunday for a late lunch/early dinner. My fries were cold and my sandwich consisted of multiple layers of bread as if it was some sort of child's lunchable concoction...I got a sandwich with avocado to save it, since avocado came from the heavens...but even the avocado couldn't save the terrible tasting sandwich. The service was not amazing but not bad either, it was as average as any film The Rock is a lead role in. Yardhouse is good for when I'm bored of Taps. It's probably my second favorite happy hour after Taps. Can be crowded, which is a good or bad thing depending on the mood. It's great to watch big sports games (EG playoffs, etc.) and also really fun to try all the beers, which I may have done. My one knock on it is I think the apppetizers are overpriced, even during happy hour. Also, you can smoke there after 10:00 I think. Good service, good food, good selection, cool place to take a beer enthusiast. read more

The Yard House is an excellent spot, boasting one of the best beer selections around. Their vegan menu is impressive, and the servers are incredibly knowledgeable about the ingredients. My sister ordered a salad, and when the dressing turned out to be non-vegan, they promptly offered a vegan alternative--such attention to detail is commendable. excellent service, food, and ambiance. the only downside: always long waits at nights and on weekends. it never ceases to amaze me the level of service here. the waiters/ waitresses are always attentive and helpful, even with a large party. the fireplace in the patio is quite cozy for a romantic dinner or friendly gatherings. the artichoke dip and seared ahi are must-tries. Haven't been here for a while so thought I would stop by with some of my friends to watch the Spurs/Heat game 3. It was super crowded. Service was extremely slow. Food was exactly what I remembered and of course there was plenty of beer (no complaints in that department). Had to stand for a good almost hour before we got a bar table. We were approached by the bartender and proceeded to order drinks, we informed that we requested a few separate checks which we were told we could not and only one tab allowed per party. We asked if we could just pay cash at the bar and our bartender replies, "I am the bar". Although fairly attentive, he was lacking in customer service skills. A few went to the inside bar to order two sodas, paid cash and came back. At the end, we requested our check and noticed the sodas were on our tab. We requested to have it removed and provided the receipt from the inside bar to which he took, crumbled and put in his pocket. I asked for the receipt back, and to adjust our receipt. Meanwhile, a few others from our party went to the inside bar to order additional drinks and unfortunately were ignored for a period of close to 15 minutes, while standing at the bar. We did contact the manager twice during our visit, but unfortunately got no resolve. It's unfortunate, but I would like to share these details for awareness and training purposes.
