Great Happy Hour deals for food! They have a select menu for items and drinks that apply to their HH. The portions are large and the deals are good, I'd definitely come back. Very surprised at how busy this restaurant was at 5:15pm on a Thursday. Even though they estimated a 25min wait, the queue went by quickly and it couldn't have been more than 10-15minutes total. There are two free parking structures nearby which was very convenient. Service was great to start, we got our waters, food, and drinks very quickly. But when we were trying to get our to-go boxes to leave, it took forever to flag down our server and actually leave. Poke nachos - 5/5, table favorite for sure! The tuna, green onions, jalapeños, seaweed, and some mix of eel and mayo sauce were SO good! Crunchy wonton wrapper chips. Would get this again! Queso - 5/5, INSANELY good deal! So much cheese and comes with both tortillas and tortilla chips. The cheese was melty and had jalapeño bits which I liked! Not spicy. Calamari - 3/5, just fine. Not seasoned well and not crispy enough. Served with marinara and tartar sauce.
I revisited this Yard House during Happy Hour and it impressed me! The beer was $5 off (great deal) and the seasonal German beer I chose was fantastic. It was a lighter beer that packed a ton of flavor! The appetizers and pizza listed on the happy hour are also a great deal! I ordered the brussel sprouts and they came out perfectly cooked and seasoned making the overall happy hour experience awesome. I was able to share the appetizer with friends, while enjoying a beer and walked out paying ~$15 for both. The service has an opportunity to get better. The table wasn't set with utensils or napkins, so we had to ask our server for them which took a while to receive. The ambiance is still fun in this place, and I would say it's great to go during happy hour with friends!
RJ, our server, was very nice and made the experience even better. I really liked the layout of this location--the bar is right in the center with tables surrounding it, which gives it a fun, energetic feel. Just a heads up though: it gets really loud. Not the best place for deep conversations unless you're okay with basically yelling across the table. Drinks: * Scorched Melon Mocktail - Surprisingly good! It kind of tasted like Hubba Bubba bubblegum in the best way. Sweet, fun, and definitely unique. Food: * Fontina Vodka Penne - So good. No notes. I finished the entire plate without hesitation. Overall, great food, fun atmosphere, and friendly service--just be prepared for the noise level.
This was my first time here and it was definitely giving Friday night vibes. The Dodgers and Laker game were both on, so there was built-in entertainment the whole time. I will say though... it's LOUD. We were basically yelling across the table just to have a conversation. The service was great - our waiters were really nice and attentive, and we got our drinks and food at a good pace. I ordered the asada and shrimp tacos with spicy rice and beans, and I have to admit... the shrimp taco stole the show. And that's saying a LOT because I'm an asada taco girly through and through. But this shrimp taco had me questioning my loyalty for a second...... like I felt like I was cheating on asada and I didn't even try to stop myself I also got the hibiscus mule-ish mocktail, and it was soooo good and super refreshing. My boyfriend got the chicken nachos and WOW... that portion was HUGE. Like, could feed a large family huge. They were also really good, and I almost considered trading meals, but thankfully he shared lol. Overall, the place was fun, lively, and the food definitely delivered. The only thing is the pricing ..... $17.99 for two tacos with rice and beans feels a little steep... but I guess that's the price you pay for the vibes.
I have been to Yard House before with friends, but this was my first time at this location and my family's first time in general! We all really enjoyed it. We got two appetizers; the calamari and the chicken nachos. Calamari was very good and the chicken nachos were very good as well, but they were so huge oh my goodness!! Definitely a really good appetizer if you want something very shareable. But yeah to be honest I was already full by the time our food came haha! For my main I got the garlic beef noodles. It was not bad at all, they were still good- but out of all the things I have tried at Yard House this dish was probably my least favorite lol. But like I said it wasn't bad at all I just think they have way better options! Portion was really big though so I was able to take home leftovers which is always a plus! haha. My whole family each enjoyed the dishes they got as well, everything was very tasty. We all enjoyed our drinks and our server did great with recommending. The dessert they gave for your birthday was really good! I have no idea what it is exactly, it tastes like a cookie brownie mixed, but 10/10 and the perfect little amount! Overall our service was great, and even though we went around like 6:30/7ish on a Friday night, we got sat right away! I love that they ask you your preference for seating. We really just wanted to sit where we can watch the game and they accommodated us no problem!
Love coming to yard house with friends and family. The poke nachos are 9/10 a hit for us. It has a rich dressing and the fish is fresh. Onion ring tower was mid - something about the crisp that just didn't hit right. Service is usually good - typically a busy establishment. Ambiance is on the darker side and always bustling. We can sit there for hours talking, eating, and drinking.
Happy Hour! Monday to Friday; 3pm-6pm; 1/2 off select apps and pizza. Hope that was a good attention grabber. Came here without realizing there was happy hour so we loaded up on some appetizers! We definitely got more than we can eat but left overs are OK! Server was super friendly! Got sat down quick and food came out fast. Apps Calamari - nicely seasoned 9/10 Chicken Nachos - BIG portion size and loaded. 10/10 Boneless Wings - nothing too special; we got plain and lemon pepper. Tasted like wings 8/10 Entrees Spicy Beef Garlic Noodle - New item but SUPER SALTY. I see what they're trying to envision but less salt would be better and wait for your noodles to try up first before stir frying it. 6/10 Bone In Ribeye - cooked perfectly to medium and I enjoyed it with broccolini as a side. 10/10 Public parking available across the street. Valet is available next to the restaurant.

I visited this location 3 times before deciding on the review, I did not want to fall by one impression only and instead to be able to review consistency in quality, service and ambiance. Quality: Food quality is great, I tried different hamburgers every time and all of them are worth to try. They have special nachos that are BOMB! Service: They shown excellent customer service, today for example we went for 3rd time this never happened before but they took longer to take the order and the manager showed up apologizing about the oversight on there end as well as the assigned waiter I believe that level of professionalism and accountability is what restaurants need onsite; leaders that know how to deal with people and make the service a good experience for the customer. Great job on that! The whole experience deserves 10 starts because at end not matter how good the food is service also matters a LOT. Ambiance: Light is tune down kinda bar style which I believe is the purpose, I like it. I personally like the barrels with blue light very original. Highly recommend the dessert attached. The name was S'MORES" BROWNIE MELTDOWN, to DIE for! Heaven in earth for sure!
Popped in for lunch and had no problem getting seated. Our server was prompt and friendly. (Wish I could remember hour servers name) I got the chicken lettuce wraps and they were really tasty and the chicken was super juicy. It has small cubes of tofu combined with the chicken, green onions, wonton cup, sweet chili, spicy peanut vinaigrette.
Loved this place! Locating parking for this place is very easy to find, if you don't locate street parking they have multiple parking structures in the area since it's a busy street-shopping center. A Friday afternoon got us about an hour wait to get seated but thankfully one of our group members found an online reservation that allowed us to arrive with our name already on the list. We waited a total of 20 min after arriving and got seated at a comfy booth. It was a big location with plenty of seating on the inside. The service was great, our server was very attentive and patient with our group as it was some of groups first visit (including mine)! I ordered the shrimp and chicken pad thai and it was so yummy. I'd definitely return to order something new as their menu has a huge variety!
Recently stopped by my old stomping ground, Yard House in Brea, for happy hour. HH runs Monday-Friday from 3-6 PM for drinks and appetizers. We arrived around 5:40 PM and it was already packed. Unfortunately, we weren't seated until 6:05 PM, so we missed the happy hour pricing. We stayed anyway and ordered my usual favorites: ahi poke nachos, sliders, and the onion ring tower. As always, the ahi poke nachos and sliders were absolutely delicious. I could eat those every day! We also tried the firecracker shrimp for the first time. It's served over crispy rice with plump shrimp and garnishes and looks great presentation-wise, but the flavor fell flat. The sauce definitely needs improvement. Parking includes valet for a fee and limited free self-parking. Service was excellent: friendly, fast, and our drinks were always refilled. After happy hour, the crowd eased up a bit, but both the bar and dining area stayed busy. Restrooms were clean and fully stocked. Our total came out to $74 for all the food plus two refillable drinks, without the happy hour discount. Would've been about 50% less if we'd been seated before 6 PM. Pro tip: get there early and beat the happy hour rush--- it's worth it ;)
First time trying their happy hour items and I was pretty impressed. The appetizers on their happy hour menu is half off which is a great deal. I ordered their chicken nachos with fries instead of nachos, sliders, and chicken lettuce wrap. I thought the chicken with fries was really worth the price. The plate was huge and can 3 people. There was also a good amount of chicken. I also enjoyed the sliders because the meat was juicy and it also comes with a side of fries. You can also get truffle fries, sweet potatoes fries or onion rings for an additional $1-$2. The chicken lettuce wrap was my least favorite item that I ordered. I'm a huge fan of peanut sauce and saw that it came with peanut sauce but their peanut was way too salty for me and didn't have too much of a peanut taste. Service was great. The servers came to check up on us regularly asking if we need more water or sauce. There was also plenty of parking at 3PM on a Friday.

We've been here many times in past years. We've ordered the Poke Nachos most times. This time they were super fantastic and the crispy Brussels sprouts were equally delicious. I wish I could give Yard House Brea six stars, but five will have to do! Service was great and the atmosphere was comfortable! read more

I picked this spot for my Mom's bday, and treated my uncle's family from Fresno. I went to the one in Long Beach a lot, and our first time visit here. I could tell a bit different of the texture of the foods. Here is a bit salted., but we still enjoy family time. No wait time and the guy who served us was great. We were hungry on Super Bowl Sunday and wanted something quick. Some places closed early on that day and the Yard house is conveniently located in downtown Brea so I was able to charge my car while we ate. I was surprised that they still have plenty of tables around 3:45pm and we were sat right away. We ordered the truffled mushroom pizza and wings. The pizza was AMAZING! I would've never expected it to be that good. If you do not like truffles, don't do it! For the wings we ordered half buffalo and the other half the pepper glazed something. The buffalo were way too spicy for me (I don't eat spicy) and the other ones were good. I would probably not order the wings again just because the pizza was really good. I think we were one of the only tables not watching the game, but it wasn't too rowdy in there. Our waitress was fast and helpful. read more
We walked in at approximately 7:45 pm (peak dinner time) on a Sunday night when the World Series baseball was going on, and didn't expect to be seated right away. Fortunately, we walked in, and the kind hostess asked us what kind of table we would prefer. We requested a booth for our part of 2, and the hostess graciously led us to the coziest corner booth (I didn't catch her name, but she was so sweet)! Our server, Denise, promptly came to our table with ice waters which was incredibly appreciated, since it was a warm day. My boyfriend and I wanted something lighter, but flavorful, and not a full meal since we already had eaten about an hour ago. We opted for the poke nachos and just a side of sweet potato fries and were pleasantly surprised at how filling and delicious the poke nachos were. It was a large plate of poke tuna, avocado, fresh scallions and jalapeños, seaweed slivers, a honey sauce, and a spicy mayonnaise sauce. We would absolutely order these again. The sweet potato fries were delicious and warm upon arrival to the table. The service was phenomenal and we were unexpectedly surprised by the quality and flavor of food! Been here 3 weeks in a row! From club to salmon .. everything an A! Love the million beers to choose from.. great service.. they have so many people working, and it looks like a well oiled machine. I was actually really impressed with this Yard House location in Brea for a couple of different reasons. If you're going to the Brea Improv, it's a really nice place to hang out before or after a show and also a pretty big location with parking options available either in the back with valet or in a public parking lot across the street. The service from the team is really friendly. I thought that they did a great job of recommending some beers to go with the things that we were ordering and then also made sure that we were OK throughout our meal and visit. We ordered the cheese curds, the ahi poke stack, the black and blue burger and of course, you can't forget to order the shiitake mushroom garlic noodles, which are a Yard House staple. I tried a couple of their specialty IPAs and loggers and really found them to be quite delicious with the food. With great portion sizes and decent prices, I definitely would be back to this location if I was ever back in the area. read more

My fam and I went to Yard House for dinner on a slow Tuesday weeknight. I've always enjoyed their atmosphere. Very modern, classy, and tv screens everywhere. I love their food options here, very many to choose from Italian to American to Korean to Chinese options. Their service isn't the greatest last time we went - after our food has arrived. We had to flag down and ignored numerous times. We had no choice but to go to the greeter desk to get someone just for some more water and condiments. It wasn't like they were busy at all? For the remainder of the night - luckily the manager on shift apologized and made sure we are taken care of for the rest of the night. I wish I remembered his name but thank you! You saved our night with a diving catch and we truly appreciated you! read more

Tried this place for our 1st time to celebrate my son's driver's test. Happy hour and the World Fifa was on all screen. We checked in and got seated relatively quick. The service was amazing ! Lindsey our server was the sweetest ever. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. We told her it was our 1st time and we were hungry and here to celebrate . She was extra thoughtful and even brought my son a celebration dessert at the end. Thank you so much Lindsey for making our day extra special. For that we love Yardhouse and hope to be back . We were not in the mood for a full dinner but some drinks and appetizers sounded good so we headed to the Yardhouse. The whole parking lot behind the restaurant is now valet only but there is a small free lot to the north or there are free parking garages across the street and to the south. We came on a Sunday night and it was packed since there was Sunday night football and a Lakers game on. But we were still seated in a booth immediately and service from Melinda was great all evening. We started with the chicken lettuce wraps which was a good portion and the sauces were great. We also had the chips and guacamole which were great but there could have been more guacamole since we still had a ton of chips left. We finished with the queso dip which was great but a poor choice by us for a third appetizer since it is pretty heavy. For drinks I had the coco passion which was a nice balanced fruity drink that wasn't over the top sweet. My girlfriend had the Malibu Peach which was good but definitely more sweet. We shared the Black Orchid which was just ok but had a great purple color in the right light. We will continue to return once in a while. read more

We needed a place to eat before a show at the Improv and our first choice was a bust so we decided to come here. Parking is super easy in this area. There are plenty of free public parking lots all around the area. It was a Sunday afternoon/late evening and to our surprise there was no wait for a table. The bar area seemed pretty full but overall it wasn't super busy. Our waiter arrived pretty quickly and took care of us very well. He was always refiling our glasses even before we asked. I wished I remembered his name because he is what all servers should strive to be like. For our food we decided to get the bone in lemon pepper wings and the Szechuan crispy beef noodles. We were told the noodles were a fairly new item. We have gotten the wings before and they always come out fresh and crispy. No problems there. As for the noodles my wife really loved them. For my taste they were just a tad to spicy but I have a low tolerance. The flavor on them was really really good though. We shared both plates and even with us sharing there was still left overs on the noodles so they do give you a generous portion. The food came out in a quick and timely manner and honestly there was no complaints here. I have been to other Yard Houses and honestly I think this has been my favorite one. Love the food here at Yard House, its near downtown Brea near the comedy club. We came in tonight to celebrate our friend graduating. So exciting for her so she invited us all to dinner with our kids. They have really good food and drinks here and Happy Hour is awesome too. We all ordered something different, I didn't get photos of everything. But Jaz was our server she was so sweet service with a smile and awesome vibes. The kids ordered pizza and chicken tenders again but it came with strawberries for the side awesome. Cobb salad, the Cali tower which is like a cake California roll, the Pork chops korean style, the roast beef sandwich, sliders, the bbq chicken salad, spicy jambalaya was mine that was delicious I replaced the rice with noodles I got the small size, I really enjoyed it but they did skimp a little on ingredients. I only had two pieces of sausage but still good. Ordered the strawberry lemonade but that didn't taste too good this time lol. Everyone else got soda and water. We all really enjoyed our meals, the kids had a great time together too and ate well. The adults had a great time talking and chatting. We had such a nice dinner and time together, so nice to spend time with friends that are family to us. It got pretty busy tonight I think a lot of people graduated today. So it was a fun night and delicious meal with excellent service thank you so much Jaz for helping me decide what to order lol. I saw many of my Yelp friends have been to this location too. Yardhouse happy hour is always a good idea! You cannot beat the value for the excellent food you get. I would dare to say that they have the best happy hour menu anywhere! Some non-negotiable items to get during HH are poke nachos, chicken lettuce wraps, and the sliders. When normally getting these items, you would already easily spend $80-90 but not during HH. The food is excellent. The service was fine. Everyone worked as a team to support our party of 5 people. Sometimes it may be hard to get a table for HH, but don't worry. Plan ahead and come a little earlier to secure your seat for this yummy experience. read more

Yardhouse is a staple for good reason, they've got all sorts of awesome food to satisfy your different cravings! I love the low light ambiance they have throughout the whole restaurant, this one specifically is pretty big compared to a few others I've been to, none the less the service was really quick and it makes it easy you can input your apps on the tablet that way you don't have to wait for someone to come around. The tap list is plentiful and I'm always greatly satisfied with the size of their meals and the quality. Great place to hit for happy hour or for a good evening outing. read more

Happy Hour is what it's about! Chicken Lettuce Wraps with peanut sauce is the bomb. Calamari was breaded nicely but the dipping sauce tasted like marinara. Nachos were great along with the sliders. The Buffalo and Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings were moist and tasty. The Cheese Curds were okay but wouldn't get again. The Carnivore Pizza was very good with the perfect amount of sauce. Service was quick to seat us on a Friday night and the food came out timely. The server was personable and knowledgeable. The ambiance of the semi-outdoor seating was perfect right next to the fireplace! The table was a bit cramped with six of us with limited area with all the apps but we made due as we needed to stack dirty plates on top of each other. The bathroom was semi-clean but lacked seat covers and only had soap in one dispenser. I am very thankful we were seated in the semi-outside area because inside was rather loud and stuffy. read more

It was my first time visiting the Yard House in Brea, for their Happy Hour and let me tell you, it was great!! Their Happy Hour is from 3:00-6:00 PM and they have 50% off their appetizers and some different drink specials.. Our drinks were nice and strong and the food was great!! We had an amazing waiter, Donald who kept checking on us and made our visit even more special.. It's worth noting that the Happy Hour Special is throughout the restaurant and you don't have to sit at the bar to get the deal.. Their food variety was very good too for this special. Free parking is across the street in the parking structure. read more

I took the family to the Yard House for my birthday . Everyone loved the food! Bri was an excellent waitress. We were there a little before lunchtime . Great parking behind the restaurant. I enjoy happy hour at yard house. There are so many options with good pricing. Can eat reasonably. It's usually loud and lots of music and TV so not the best for conversations. The service is almost always great. Some servers like Matt and Gustavo are more attentive than others, but the managers are always actively involved in getting food to tables and checking on everyone. read more

the food here is extremely mid and i got a kids pepperoni pizza and they gave me a cheese pizza that was extremely undercooked and then i asked for a pepperoni one and it was even more undercooked but we got the nicest server ever and he had dark chin lengthen hair and 2 nose piercings but we forget his name but give him a raise! read more

I came here for Galentines with some of my friends and I will say it's a good spot for dinner and catching up with friends. The atmosphere was chill/spacious and the booth seats were comfortable. The Happy Hour has a lot of good stuff and the appetizer portions are huge! However, the service was mediocre. It was a slow Monday night so not sure where the lack of attentiveness was coming from. A little more effort to customer service would put this location at a five star. read more

I had a fun time with friends here celebrating a friend's 22nd. They've got plenty of options for drinks and although the prices are higher than you might find soemwhere else, they make up for it with proportions. They give you your fair share for what you pay. It's a large room with some echo, but clean and professional nonetheless. Service was quick and kind. There'll be no complaints from me. read more
