My fam and I went to Yard House for dinner on a slow Tuesday weeknight. I've always enjoyed their atmosphere. Very modern, classy, and tv screens everywhere. I love their food options here, very many to choose from Italian to American to Korean to Chinese options. Their service isn't the greatest last time we went - after our food has arrived. We had to flag down and ignored numerous times. We had no choice but to go to the greeter desk to get someone just for some more water and condiments. It wasn't like they were busy at all? For the remainder of the night - luckily the manager on shift apologized and made sure we are taken care of for the rest of the night. I wish I remembered his name but thank you! We were not in the mood for a full dinner but some drinks and appetizers sounded good so we headed to the Yardhouse. The whole parking lot behind the restaurant is now valet only but there is a small free lot to the north or there are free parking garages across the street and to the south. We came on a Sunday night and it was packed since there was Sunday night football and a Lakers game on. But we were still seated in a booth immediately and service from Melinda was great all evening. We started with the chicken lettuce wraps which was a good portion and the sauces were great. We also had the chips and guacamole which were great but there could have been more guacamole since we still had a ton of chips left. We finished with the queso dip which was great but a poor choice by us for a third appetizer since it is pretty heavy. For drinks I had the coco passion which was a nice balanced fruity drink that wasn't over the top sweet. My girlfriend had the Malibu Peach which was good but definitely more sweet. We shared the Black Orchid which was just ok but had a great purple color in the right light. We will continue to return once in a while. read more

I enjoy happy hour at yard house. There are so many options with good pricing. Can eat reasonably. It's usually loud and lots of music and TV so not the best for conversations. The service is almost always great. Some servers like Matt and Gustavo are more attentive than others, but the managers are always actively involved in getting food to tables and checking on everyone. read more

We needed a place to eat before a show at the Improv and our first choice was a bust so we decided to come here. Parking is super easy in this area. There are plenty of free public parking lots all around the area. It was a Sunday afternoon/late evening and to our surprise there was no wait for a table. The bar area seemed pretty full but overall it wasn't super busy. Our waiter arrived pretty quickly and took care of us very well. He was always refiling our glasses even before we asked. I wished I remembered his name because he is what all servers should strive to be like. For our food we decided to get the bone in lemon pepper wings and the Szechuan crispy beef noodles. We were told the noodles were a fairly new item. We have gotten the wings before and they always come out fresh and crispy. No problems there. As for the noodles my wife really loved them. For my taste they were just a tad to spicy but I have a low tolerance. The flavor on them was really really good though. We shared both plates and even with us sharing there was still left overs on the noodles so they do give you a generous portion. The food came out in a quick and timely manner and honestly there was no complaints here. I have been to other Yard Houses and honestly I think this has been my favorite one. Love the food here at Yard House, its near downtown Brea near the comedy club. We came in tonight to celebrate our friend graduating. So exciting for her so she invited us all to dinner with our kids. They have really good food and drinks here and Happy Hour is awesome too. We all ordered something different, I didn't get photos of everything. But Jaz was our server she was so sweet service with a smile and awesome vibes. The kids ordered pizza and chicken tenders again but it came with strawberries for the side awesome. Cobb salad, the Cali tower which is like a cake California roll, the Pork chops korean style, the roast beef sandwich, sliders, the bbq chicken salad, spicy jambalaya was mine that was delicious I replaced the rice with noodles I got the small size, I really enjoyed it but they did skimp a little on ingredients. I only had two pieces of sausage but still good. Ordered the strawberry lemonade but that didn't taste too good this time lol. Everyone else got soda and water. We all really enjoyed our meals, the kids had a great time together too and ate well. The adults had a great time talking and chatting. We had such a nice dinner and time together, so nice to spend time with friends that are family to us. It got pretty busy tonight I think a lot of people graduated today. Yardhouse happy hour is always a good idea! You cannot beat the value for the excellent food you get. I would dare to say that they have the best happy hour menu anywhere! Some non-negotiable items to get during HH are poke nachos, chicken lettuce wraps, and the sliders. When normally getting these items, you would already easily spend $80-90 but not during HH. The food is excellent. The service was fine. Everyone worked as a team to support our party of 5 people. Sometimes it may be hard to get a table for HH, but don't worry. Yardhouse is a staple for good reason, they've got all sorts of awesome food to satisfy your different cravings! I love the low light ambiance they have throughout the whole restaurant, this one specifically is pretty big compared to a few others I've been to, none the less the service was really quick and it makes it easy you can input your apps on the tablet that way you don't have to wait for someone to come around. The tap list is plentiful and I'm always greatly satisfied with the size of their meals and the quality. Great place to hit for happy hour or for a good evening outing. read more

Happy Hour is what it's about! Chicken Lettuce Wraps with peanut sauce is the bomb. Calamari was breaded nicely but the dipping sauce tasted like marinara. Nachos were great along with the sliders. The Buffalo and Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings were moist and tasty. The Cheese Curds were okay but wouldn't get again. The Carnivore Pizza was very good with the perfect amount of sauce. Service was quick to seat us on a Friday night and the food came out timely. The server was personable and knowledgeable. The ambiance of the semi-outdoor seating was perfect right next to the fireplace! The table was a bit cramped with six of us with limited area with all the apps but we made due as we needed to stack dirty plates on top of each other. Their Happy Hour is from 3:00-6:00 PM and they have 50% off their appetizers and some different drink specials.. Our drinks were nice and strong and the food was great!! We had an amazing waiter, Donald who kept checking on us and made our visit even more special.. It's worth noting that the Happy Hour Special is throughout the restaurant and you don't have to sit at the bar to get the deal.. Their food variety was very good too for this special. During the course of our dinner, we enjoyed an appetizer, main course and even shared a dessert. All had great presentation and tasted great. Since this was only our third date, we spoke at great length and knew we were occupying a good table, but our server never pressured us to leave. When we did ask for the check, we thanked her for allowing us to enjoy our evening, and made sure she was tipped well in cash. She seemed very appreciative which only added to our experience. While dining out may be a bit more expensive now, our experience here was worth every dollar and more. I look forward to sharing many more date nights here. read more

I would return if I were meeting friends or family and try something different than the bacon burger I had. I do have to say the their new chicken enchilada dish was pretty good. First time trying Yard House. We were really looking forward to trying their food. I had joined the waitlist online, it informed us that our table would be ready in 15 mins. We got a text that our table was ready at 4:51pm. We went inside and told the girl at the desk she said someone was cleaning our table and we'd be seated in a couple minutes. We waited another 15 mins and told her we've been waiting. She said our name was not on the list and we would be the very next people seated. Then they proceeded to seat another 6 tables and then finally seat us. We had a movie shortly after so we had to order our food to go as soon as we sat. The food is as good as I remember it- the standouts were definitely the poke nachos, crispy brussel sprouts, and boneless wings. The poke nachos were super crispy and had a yummy aioli with fresh poke. The brussel sprouts were crispy but had a tang from the sauce. The barbeque flavored boneless wings were tasty as well- with the sweet barbeque sauce and topped with green onions. Also got the chicken nachos but substituted with fries "frachos". It was a HUGE portion and it was good, but the fries got mushy pretty quickly. It came with a generous scoop of guacamole and sour cream. The carnivore pizza we ordered was also yummy, but the toppings of pepperoni and sausage were pretty standard, so the flavors weren't as surprising as some of the other dishes. The pizza was cooked well, just wish there were more options of different types of pizza. Overall, we had a great time enjoying our food and drinks here. I like how the menu has variety: pizza, burgers, pasta, wings, seafood, etc. The beer battered fish tacos were alright but heavy on the breading; I wouldn't get it again. The whiskey glazed salmon was pretty good (found two little bones in it) but I didn't love how much sauce there was on the vegetables and the parmesan mashed potatoes weren't my favorite. If I were to recommend a dish from YardHouse I would definitely say the vodka penne. read more
