I honestly love this place. The Tuna Poke Nachos are a must every time we come here--never skip them. The sliders were the perfect size and super filling, and the Tuna Bowl had awesome flavor. The staff was nice and the service was quick. Always clean and good vibes, especially when the Dolphins game is on!

It's Sunday afternoon and there wasn't really a wait time, so that was good. The stop is nice, however, in attentive. This is Just bar food. It shouldn't Take that Long. Nobody brought us silverware until I asked for it twice. They didn't bring plates for the appetizers and when they did, they only brought three out of four. For a Sunday afternoon, It is really really loud in here. Maybe they should adjust for a daytime family visit. Don't bother ordering the lobster pasta. Because although it does taste good. You have to be Indiana Jones to find the lobster. Not sure there will be a next time.

Yardhouse feels like your backyard thanks to the warm attention of Marcel (our Marcel Marceau) and his loyal buddy Sam... both will make sure to treat you as friends, setting the tone for what you expect from comfort American food. We started off with some Poke Nachos, and unexpectedly they were a little bit spicy for us, but it is part of their asian flair. Not as big in portions as its counterpart Chicken Nachos, but a fair size if you are saving your space for what is coming next. The entrecôte with truffle fries and sautéed veggies has its signature punch... a legit execution at a much fair price than other restaurants in Miami, where you can easily find the same dish for twice the price. The parmesan truffle fries, even though they were fresh, confused me in terms that I wasn't sure if they were missing the truffle or the parmesan. Either way, they didn't make my cut. On the contrary, the sweet potato fries beat my expectations. Sweet, salty, crispy, and crunchy, all those textures and flavors in each bite are still around. Finally, the maine lobster noodles with, shrimp, shiitake mushrooms, spinach, and parmesan, were even spicier than the poke nachos, which is kind of a miss because the spice overlapped the rest of the flavors, but overall it was an interesting choice. To close with some sweet highlights, the desserts really leveled and calmed down those spicy spikes: the bread pudding topped with crème anglaise, took me to Spain as it tasted like the American version of a "torrija", but even better executed. The swirling caramel syrup splurged on the pudding and scoops of cold cream to an indulgent interpretation of this classic Spanish dessert, even taking the spotlight over one of my favorites, the Oreo brookie because I'm a fool for crumbles, cookie dough fudge brownie, which was I expected but the bread pudding really played a higher league. The ambiance is very family friend oriented, with a terrace that looks into Merrick Park gardens, that adds a stylish vibe and connects us back again to the backyard of our own patio home.

Yard House has been a staple in dining for decades I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this location yet. From many catered events to nights out, Yard House consistently delivers quality food and beers. This time we were a group of 14 celebrating a friend's birthday. Service and food was excellent. And the best part is you can all easily divide your portion of the check without any problems. The server just adds up what was yours. Tonight we tried an appetizer I had yet to try before the firecracker shrimp and it was delicious. Everything was smooth and fun. They are doing it right!

Expect a massive selection of beers along with a good sized happy hour menu. Located in Merrick Place mall in Coral Gables, the Yard House has a special place in my heart as it is where my wife and I first met. But ironically I barely have come back since. But decided to come back recently with our son. The beer selection is immense. I was able to sample about 4-5 options before settling. I ended up with a yard of beer which was ice cold and somewhat of funny way of saying I only had one beer. It was delicious. As for the food, we opted for the happy hour menu which had a good selection of appetizers at half off menu price. We ordered the Calamari, the Chicken Nachos, and the Sliders. The food came out cold and we had it sent back. Our server Chris and the Manager Maria were great. They both were very apologetic and let us know it would be taken care off. Unfortunately the food came back cold again. By this time we were starving and just wanted to move on. Overall the food was OK and I'm sure it might have been better had it been hot but honestly you come to Yard House for the beer and maybe the food is just secondary. The restaurant was busy for a Monday but it was Veterans Day and maybe that had something to do with the lapse in the kitchen. But no complaints from front of the house staff as they were very attentive. The kitchen just didn't have it that night. But luckily beer solves many problems. If you are looking for drinks then this is the place but for food your miles may vary.

Food was good, service was ok. Ambiance nice but extremely loud. Waitress slow to my taste, and maybe tired because we have to ask twice for mayo and ketchup

Highly recommend coming to Yard House for their happy hour! Half priced apps and deals on drinks. The app are a great size portion unlike some happy hour deals. They have an awesome draft beer list and tons of food variety! The service was great. And the restaurant itself was huge, would be great for large groups. Will definitely be back!

I haven't been to the yard house in years, but the food back then looked a little more "high" quality to me. That being said the taste was still good though, and the server was super helpful and patient. I really appreciated the 2000s mix they had in the background playing while everyone ate. It was pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon, so keep that in mind if you want to come in a big group.

Nice big restaurant large sitting area, huge selection of beers, great drinks and spirits, as well as an excellent selection of plates and appetizers, excellent service loved the atmosphere and ambience as well . The food was good their spicy tuna stack appetizer was everyones favorite it was delicious it was a beautiful plated plate . The bone in Rib eye was a great addition to a great main course. My steak bowl had a good taste but the brown rice quinoa combo was a bit over cooked to me . The orange chicken and pasta dish was good paired combo. The drinks were great perfectly mixed not watered down , we were a big group and the three waiters were amazing not only The food came out fast so we're all the cocktails. Great attention to service .

    Sliders and onion rings

Don't order the onion rings, batter is terrible. Sliders seem like they have been heated up and served, it's like you are chewing in card board. Great place for drinks but forget the food!

Decoration like other kind of sport grill restaurant, our waiter Nick very recommend nice, kindness and funny guy everything he say try delicious. Now the food was incredible amazing I never thought of finding something so well presented and cooked and made with such freshness that in every bite you feel the taste of the ocean and on the other hand the burger (truffle cheese) with a combination of sauce and meat cooked at the perfect temperature amazing experience. All the team that works in the kitchen thanks

Yard House is located inside of Merrick Park, in Coral Gables. It's a great place to stop for American fare food. They have inside and outside seating. Seating for 2 or large parties. Bar in the middle of the restaurant with lots of TVs airing your favorite sports. My daughter went on a Sunday afternoon. We had the fried calamari (portion was small for the price charged), sweet potato fries, American burger (delicious) and the Sesame seared tuna. Server took our order, served us our drinks and didn't really come around anymore. Someone else brought our food. You are able to order on your own through a kiosk on your table. Door was good, service was okay.

We did not mind to pay since there are no current restaurants that charge less than $100 for meals, especially for four guests. The location is exactly across the street of the "Casita Restaurant" on 8th St that I occasionally frequent. For starters, the Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon, "Papi", was delicious. All the meals we ordered were exquisite and the Ambiance was cozy. Lastly, the young chef is the owner (I asked ;) and he's got something delightful going on here :)

Do you like carbs? If you do, then check this place out…read more Their bread (including pizza crust) & pasta is their strong suit. I'm not vegan or even vegetarian. This is an important caveat. I didn't check this place out to fit my dietary needs or get the normalcy of a restaurant experience that would take my requirements into consideration. I went specifically as a culinary experience. And as a culinary experience, I wouldn't visit again. I think passion projects should be evaluated differently than major restaurant operations. It was obvious to me that this restaurant comes from a specific vision for a niche. And, as far as I can tell, vegan is a difficult niche to match to a conventional diet. I wasn't expecting the food to trick my senses. I was open to new textures & new flavors. The breads & appetizers overall were good. The entrees were ok. But, the prices (while perhaps justifiable for vegan fare) felt exorbitant. $30+ for a personal pizza (even with the impressive stella design) feels like a lot. Again, not being vegan, I can get a higher quality & larger pizza for considerably less. The pasta was ok - matched homemade standards. I will say the pizza tastes good the next day, heated up at home where I could make the center less soggy. Overall, good innovation & flavor matching to a conventional menu. The ambiance is welcoming & cute. It's a small space but the decor is on theme & takes advantage of the narrow design. The music was a good volume where it didn't interrupt conversation, but the selection felt a little off for me. The low volume also meant that I could hear the staff & kitchen conversation, since it is an open kitchen concept. Kitchen conversations are not always reassuring for a patron. This open kitchen concept is probably the weakest link for this restaurant. Plainly, the service needs help. I could see the staff -cleaning pots, -tapping tongs on the edge of the trash to dispose of remnants (I'm not implying that those tongs were then used on fresh food), -brushing flour off the pizza shovel with bare hands into the trash, -rag & cleaning spray left on dining room table & then moved to the floor, -an pot of their meatballs left uncovered in their accessible, open prep area on the way to the restroom, -seeing containers of prepped juices & sauces plopped on the counter where food is cooked & then stored again, etc. Just small things that made me feel like I was in someone's home instead of a restaurant with these prices. The servers were inexperienced, but sincere. And that helped. But, not clearing dishes when more food is brought, or telling me to stir the drink while pouring it are rookie moves that are easily remedied. Regarding drinks, get the limonatta & call it a day. The drink menu needs help. Refrigerated cold glasses with lukewarm water. Homemade sodas & matchas with undiluted syrups that cloyingly sit at the bottom of the glass immune to stirring. Something a simple blender could remedy. The smells were also an issue. Kitchen smells can clash with what you're eating. Sitting next to the open kitchen meant whiffs of mid-prepped dishes while trying to eat. And heavily scented hand soap in the bathroom meant that now all my forkfuls & all my pizza bites smelled like lavender. I'm complaining, but it was a nice experience. I felt like I was at someone's home - an endearing feeling even if not the best culinary experience. It feels like someone dedicated to vegan recipes opened a restaurant. And I guess I was expecting a restauranteur to open a vegan spot. Still, these are real people trying to provide something that hardly exists. And for that, I wish them success.

We chose our toppings, she put the meat, and we sat down to eat. The falafels were crisp, packed with flavor, and weren't greasy. The gyro meat was also packed with flavor and was juicy throughout every bite. The fries were crisp and the seasoning was a bit overpowering for me, but was perfect for my lunch buddy.
