Firstly, I love the location, right off of 440! Parking was tight and I ended up parking further away at a parking lot and snatching up the last space. Apparently you can also park at Harris Teeter and walk over. But I've heard that parking here is still much better than parking for downtown Raleigh restaurants. We made a reservation for 11 people, and they handled our group beautifully. The waitress was super nice about bringing each of us separate checks and it went so smoothly that I enjoyed the whole experience. The interior has lots of nice wood and airy ceilings. We started off with the nachos appetizer with big chunks of chicken, guacamole, beans, and cheesy goodness. I ordered the turkey burger with roasted roma tomatoes, mozzarella in a toasted bun, that comes with a side of skinny crispy fries and a garlic aioli dipping sauce--yum! I was pleased with the juicy flavor of the turkey burger. My friends ordered the egg rolls appetizers with dipping sauce, lettuce wraps with chicken, and fish tacos. The presentation of all the food was fancy; they even managed to make the lettuce wraps look good by setting the filling on top of a large fried wonton-looking thing. I came with my dad and we could barely hear each other during our meal. That really sucked but I understand they can't really control how loud people near us were... Our server was great but seemed overwhelmed with all the different tables he had. But even with that stress he was consistently attentive and friendly. The food came out quicker than we anticipated which is always a good thing when you're hungry :) we loved the lobster crap artichoke dip!! It was so creamy, with such wonderfully developed flavors. I was happy it was paired with tortilla chips and pita points, as I loved it paired with the latter. For my entree, I ordered the small Kale Caesar salad with shrimp which was surprisingly filling for the smaller portion. I like the concept of adding in kale, tomatoes and nuts to the traditional Caesar salad as well and encourage it to others who enjoy salads with a twist. My dad ordered the turkey club and had no complaints and a clean plate so I guess it was good! Overall, Yard house is one of those restaurants that is so versatile, you really can't go wrong! My wife ordered through the website. I went in to get it and the person at the desk went to check the back. She came back after about 10 minutes with nothing and asked me again if I had been helped. I said, "You went to the back to check on my mobile order." Someone else asked what the name was on the order and actually read the computer to find my order in the warmer at the front desk. Why did I have to wait so long if my order was already at the desk for pick up? There also is no area designated for mobile order pick up and the receipt said to park in the area labeled for pickup. The pizza finally arrives it's piping hot, but the sauce was bitter , like it had been cooked with a red wine, not good, not good at all, and I love pizza , but not Yard House pizza. Yard house has become one of my favorite restaurants since visiting one in San Antonio a couple years back, my waiter was excellent he was prompt and very helpful and never left me feeling ignored even though he was working a very large group of atleast 15 people and another table with 8 people, I ordered the queso dip for starter which I recommend, it is enough for 2-4 people, it does have a good bit of spice, I wish it came with more chips but I'm sure I could have gotten more if I asked, my main meal I had the spicy Jambalaya with linguine noodles, I have had it with the rice before but with noodles is a better combo to me. I took my family to dinner at the yard house 4/8/23 in celebration of our oldest daughters 22 birthday. We arrived approximately 5pm (after an hour and a half drive from Greenville) we were greeted by our hostess Jamika (who was awesome) She seated us and asked her for some advice on what to eat being our first time. She informed us that she was a pescatarian and could only suggest seafood dishes that she liked. She also gave us meat and chicken options from past guests and popular food items. We thanked her for her suggestion and waited for our server. About twenty minutes later we met our waitress shay. She was pleasant and friendly, we placed our drink order and appetizers, it took a minute to figure out what we wanted to eat due to the restaurants huge menu. So the appetizers came out in about 10 minutes. We ordered calamari and wings. Both were cooked to perfection! We were very pleased, at this time jamika came back by just to check on us. ( A huge plus) shay our waitress came back to take our dinner orders. ( here's where the rating almost went down) we placed our order and we patiently waited. Seeing how fast we received our appetizers we were expecting the food to be just as prompt. However this was the underwhelming part. Unfortunately it took an hour and a half to get our dinner. Jamika again came over just to check on us, and when we explained that we had not received our food she went and got a manager. Justin was the manager and he was very calm and very friendly as well as helpful. My food was cold and over cooked. Once I explained this to him, he immediately jumped in to action to get the order fixed. I can't say enough great things about the amazing experience we received from the company. Justin fixed and made everything right, Jamika was a superstar just because of her thoughtfulness and that was because of our initial conversation about this being our first time and it also being our oldest daughter's birthday. My personal opinion. It had nice size pieces of lobster and shrimp, crab pieces were a bit elusive. Tasty with a garlicky flavor and spinach mixed in. A rather unusual dish, but it was tasty and quite filling. Hubby got the chicken enchilada stack and though it was a bit messy, he enjoyed. Table mates enjoyed steak and shrimp and fried chicken. I love Yard House and this is definitely my go to spot when i want a decent meal without having to get super dressy or pay an outrageous amount. The bar has over 60 beers on tap with a stacked drink menu for non beer/ hard cider drinkers and this is for sure a place where you can come watch the game, wine down, girls night or even date night. It is located in north hills but it is set apart from all of the commotion. On the weekends parking can get a little crazy but i love the fact that it's attached to a free parking garage and you can catch the elevator down. The only reason i did not give it a 5/5 is because the service is a hit or miss. I've come in and had exceptional service and I've also come in and had not so good service. Tonight i came in and they were offering their late night menu in which i chose the blackened chicken torta (sub fries for Mac n Cheese). Not my go to sandwich but it's a really great option! The wait is 2+ hours on a weekend night so tons of people are packed into the hall waiting to be seated, not wearing a mask if they have a drink in their hand. I am sure that had I been in the restaurant the fries would have been really good but they were cold and soggy by the time they arrived. They had a lot of flavor though so I didn't mind.
