Yes, I ordered 2 entrees - Spicy Jambalaya (crawfish, shrimp, sausage and chicken) & off course other veggies!! Food was great. We ordered a table full of apps that took a while but we were so full we didn't order entrées. They were out of lots of drinks and the carnita tacos. The service at the bat was great as we waited 40 min for our table. However, once we got to the table the service was very slow. Only half the table had water, she took our order than came back 10 minutes later and asked more questions or tell us the food was out of stock. The check was incorrect with additional food we did not order. The drinks were rung in incorrectly double charging some people at our table. We loved the food and the atmosphere but the table service needs improvement. The manager, Brian, was very apologetic and attentive. Came here before a show. We ordered some appetizers and main dishes. We ordered margaritas as well. We had a couple of good take aways: our wonderful server and the margaritas. Food tasted like they came out of a can or pre packaged. I was dissatisfied with the portion sizes too. They were pretty small for the $bill. First and foremost, I would like to give a massive shout-out to the waitress, Brittany Ryan. She did a fantastic job. She has a bubbly personality and genuinely cares for her customers. She was on top of everything and did it with a smile the entire time. Hopefully, one day, she will be training for increased responsibility because she is perfect for the management role. The food and drinks are excellent. When I travel to Raleigh, Yard House is always on the itinerary. From the appetizers to desserts, it is an assortment for all to find enjoyment. We ended up ordering firecracker, shrimp, fried calamari, spinach, dip, and a smoked old fashion our meal consisted of a steak bowl and whiskey, glazed salmon I told Daniel that I wanted extra broccolini instead of the roasted carrots and my salmon to be medium done per se for the restaurant style. He said we order our food right around 6 o'clock as our appetizers I watch couples come and go bust a whole table of 14 down, and another table came in well after us and they got their food before us. Daniel kept coming back. Checking on us making sure everything was OK. My husband finally asked him where was our food, Daniel had a questionable look on his face. He said you guys ordered food? we said yes he asked us What did we order so we told him he then proceed to go put the order in we have been waiting over an hour. our food came at exactly 7 o'clock. My husband didn't even want to eat his food anymore due to the fact, he waited so long, and that Daniel clearly forgot that we had ordered food and put a rush order on our meal. My food did come I did not have extra broccolini. I had carrots on my plate after I asked not to have them my husband just got it to go box. I ate my food and I told Daniel course that it was his birthday so he ended up bringing my husband dessert what she did eat and we were very appreciative of that, I get the bill and instead of trying to Comp for the delay I had a full bill. I barely even got a sorry to top it off we actually gave Daniel a 16% tip which I feel like wasn't even worth it due to the fact that he never even put our food order in. I had high hopes for this restaurant. Although it was a pretty light night as far as crowd I had heard from peers that it was pretty tasty. It's a pretty dark restaurant and seems to struggle to the choose its identity. Is it a sports bar? Or is it a romantic restaurant? The TV's and bar area would make me think that it is probably a sports bar, however, the dark atmosphere would make me think they are trying to be a more upscale romantic restaurant. Our server was very helpful explaining the different beers and how to use the kiosk to help to use a beer. He actually suggested I cider that I tremendously enjoyed. The score is based on the food. The person I was with ordered halibut and she reported it was very dry. Luckily it had I sauce to help with the texture. I had the garlic lobster noodles. And if the dish had been hot, the seafood had not been rubbery, and the sauce had been a little more liberal it would have been a very tasty dish. The actual flavor was there it was the execution. The water in the bathroom was very cold when i washed my hands. I ordered the lamb burger & upgraded to the truffle fries which was worth the extra charge. The fries were cooked to perfection & seasoned well with herbs & Parmesan. The lamb burger was served with a feta cream cheese, arugula, & a caramelized jalapeño shallot relish. The beer is very overpriced here with the majority of pints ranging from $7-$8 but they have a good selection. The menu is also overpriced and very overwhelming, there are too many options. Just left - absolutely horrible meal. Out of 6 of us, only two liked their meal! Server was extremely pleasant but service was way slow. I understand how busy it was but geez, super slow. Restaurant sold out of pineapple chicken, so two people at our table had to get something else. How do they sell out of chicken? Something about marinating for 24 hours... Asked for chopped salad to have NO avocado, they brought it with avocado. Took it off my plate myself. Drinks were unbelievably slow coming from bar. Waiting upwards of 10 minutes for a beer is unacceptable. Lobster dip as an appetizer was ridiculously small - one of the smallest appetizer dips we've ever had dining out. Orange chicken was too spicy and we ended up with that removed from bill. The chopped salad was so loaded with cilantro it was nearly inedible. Handed it to server after only about 5 bites taken. Great food! Portion sizes are great as well. It may be sort of pricey, but their Happy Hour specials are great so you can try a large part of the appetizer menu for a lower price. I love nachos and their chicken nachos are soooo good! Definitely a must try. Also the Truffle Fries are amazing...not many places have Truffle Fries either so I love getting them here. *Update* Went today for happy hour. We got to the restaurant around 5:30 and were immediately sat then quickly greeted by our server. We ordered the fried Mac and cheese, the queso dip (adding chorizo), and chicken nachos. All were very good and the regular portions. Some places serve smaller portions during happy hour, but Yard House does not. This was my second visit. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they're short staffed. However, during my first visit and today's visit, it happened. The food took forever to come out. We ordered appetizers, traditional wings, sweet potato fries and truffle fries to be exact, and it took roughly 32 minutes to receive them. I then ordered the BBQ bacon burger, which took another 30+ minutes. The odd thing was that the restaurant was probably at 1/4 capacity. The food was good but my drink was the best part. read more

A bit challenging to leave a rating, as I didn't receive any drinks or meals from my outing on 1/31/23. I arrived at the bar area at 10:40pm and there were 2 open seats to my left and then 3 seats opened up to my right as two women were leaving as I sat, so I pretty much had the corner section to myself. The bartender, whom I later found out is named Justin, came to me and said 'I'll be with you in a moment' and was tending to his other customers that were there already. About a minute later, a man and his lady come to the left of me and ask if anyone is sitting there and I said 'no, it's all yours' and they got comfortable. Justin comes back and asks them what they were having and proceeds to get them their drinks and serves it to them. I'm already looking at him to wonder why he hasn't come back to tend to me but he goes back to tending to his other customers. He the. Comes to me to see what I'm going to have and I order a pint sized IPA and he leaves to go get the beer, or at least that's what I thought. About 30 seconds after I made my beer order, 2 men walk in to the 3 open seats that were on the right of me and he tends to them rather quickly. He then gets one of them a beer and makes a cocktail for the other and then serves it to them and I still have not received the IPA that I ordered and I then become upset because this is ridiculous that after sitting for 13 minutes and still not being serviced. Mind you, I'm a black man in my mid 40's and both customers/parties that arrived after me and served before me, were Caucasian. I'm not sure if that played a part in this but after he served the second set of customers, I looked at the guy on my left and he was looking at me and said 'yeah, that's not ok' as he also saw how I was being overlooked and ignored. After that, I got up, went to go see a manager, whom was very pleasant and tried to rectify the situation by offering me a free drink, a table to sit, and also going to another part of the bar and said that he would personally get a beer for me himself but I was SO disappointed by what just happened that I just left and because it was almost 11pm on a Tuesday night, I didn't have any other options for a quick beer and food so I just went back to my hotel and ended the night with some Doritos and bottled water from the Marriott mini mart. Everyone has different experiences and I'm a fan of the Yardhouse chain, especially the one in DC, but the one in Raleigh will never receive my patronage ever. read more

Alrighty, soo loved the food, as you can see from a few of the pictures I was a little late in capturing a photo before the food was quickly inhaled. Quick background story, my friends and I arrived a little late because we had church earlier last night. After our souls were nourished, it was time for us to consume food for our physical body. By the time we made our minds up of where to eat, it was roughly 10:00pm. The only place that would serve great food and at a great price (Mon - Wed half off selected appetizers)was Yard House. I personally ordered the Poke Nachos (you'll see my finished plate) and the Classic Sliders which also came with fries. Looking at the half off appetizers, I couldn't stop drooling, so maybe my stomach did most of the ordering, but please don't judge. The nachos were awesome! Each one was crispy and crunchy, no soggy chips! I ordered the sliders thinking that the nachos wouldn't be enough to satisfy me. I was mistaken. In my defense, I also had to finish a slider from my daughters plate. My only complaint was the server. Myself and a few others from my party like to be hydrated, but we only had one refill each because the server was a bit slow even after "calling" them using the lil hand held device at the table. We each got one refill. She can't say that she was busy because she only had two tables at 10pm. I'm just saying. I've been to this location twice now. Once with friends and once alone. The first time I believe I got the jambalaya and the second I got a steak. Both times my food and drinks were amazing. However, I will say both times I did have to wait quite a while for my food. Thankfully ordering appetizers held me over until my meal arrived. Service can be hit or miss. My first server was focused on the party that had just arrived in her area so she wasn't as attentive as we had hoped. Great menu selection and getting better. I really like their tacos, salads and most sandwiches. The beers are plentiful, well-selected and flavorful. Huge variety of craft, local and micro/nano-brews and they have no issues with your trying as many samples as you'd like. Decent wine menu if that's your jam. I'd love it if they added an additional soup and flatbread option to round out their menu. Our server was Kelley - he was very friendly and helpful. We got a chicken nacho appetizer for the table to share and it was more than we could eat (pretty good too)! I had a few street tacos (loved the Korean BBQ one the most) and I also had the Gran Patron Margarita which was strong and delicious. My husband also had street tacos (a fish and a shrimp one, which he liked as well). He also enjoyed a saison beer as well as a aperitif spritzer which he said he liked. I ordered a sample of the hard kombucha which the server forgot. We ordered cheesesteaks and fries. The server told us that she rang the order in wrong but they were making our cheesesteaks as she spoke. When we finally got our food, the fries were cold. The cheesesteak was so bad. It was bland. I've never had a worse cheesesteak. The service was awful. I asked for A1 and the server brought me an empty bottle. I had to flag down another server to get one that actually had A1 in the bottle. My 1st visit was on my birthday. The place is located in busy restaurant area, parking wasn't bad because there a parking garage for free to use and the walk wasn't too bad. Yard House restaurant was a delight to enter very nice atmosphere, plenty tables and tv's. The waiter was ok, not Mr. Personality but he did get orders correct and delivered in a timely fashion. The food for my family members rated at a 5 because she's a vegan, nothing on the menu excited her. I, on the other hand enjoyed my Strawberry Mule cocktail and my Korean rib eye steak , with Parmesan potatoes and broccolini was delicious. The price for dinner for 2 was reasonable with a tip. My husband and I came to the Yard House for a (much needed) DATE NIGHT! We arrived a little after 6pm on a Sat. I was nervous about having a lengthy wait but much to our surprise, we were seated immediately! Drinks: wow-za. The number of options is astonishing! So many choices! I ended up going with a PINEAPPLE HARD CIDER and it was delicious! My husband does not drink alcohol and was impressed that there were 3 NA beers. Food: So so good! We started with an onion ring tower. Highly recommend! I LOVED the spicy dipping sauce. I then had a cup of French Onion soup. Delicious!!! I have not had a good French Onion soup since living down here in NC. As for Entrees, I went with the Ribeye and my husband (wanting to try something new/something he normally would not get) had the Nashville chicken. The Ribeye was cooked perfectly and was oh-so-tender! My husband's chicken was good too! Crispy fried chicken with a honey drizzle. Service: Our server was very friendly and attentive. I liked how the staff works as a team. We had our main server, another delivered our drinks, another brought us our meals... it was nice to have things brought out promptly instead of waiting for the server to do all of the above. There's nothing like a burger and beer so after being told of the 90 minute wait at Cowfish in North Hills, we decided to give next-door neighbor Yard House a try. A large, space with an urban feel (blacks, chrome), Yard House sports a huge beer list along with a huge list for food. There must be easily a hundred choices for brewskis but they're not cheap, from $6.50 up for a pint. My group of three orders up a coconut shrimp app and I go with the BBQ bacon-cheddar burger. The butterflied coconut shrimp is awesome with presentation, cool green-orange sauce is plated with the shrimp but a bit pricey for over $12. My burger is solid with some great match-stick fries. I thought the bun was a bit dry but not a bad burger at all. Service is corporate solid at the Yard House, they've got a lot of people here and it's built for a volume business. So overall I like the place but it falls a bit short in value. But that's usually the case for the North Hills area so it fits right in. Welcome to the neighborhood, Yard House! Lots of beer, solid bar food and a hip-urban feel? Works for me. I just don't know how the World of Beer is going to survive with you right next-door... read more

Came here after running the Raleigh Rock N Roll Half Marathon and had a nice meal. The place is huge and has a gigantic beer list, like most Yard Houses. The service was friendly but incredibly slow. It wasn't busy when we went but lunch took an hour and 45 minutes because our waiter was gone for 15-20 minutes at a time. For food, I had fried cheese curds with a tasty horseradish sauce. A little too greasy but still good. My friend had tomato bisque and a summer salad. Both were very good. I had some of the salad and it was delicious, almost like a dessert salad. He had the halibut for his entree which he liked a lot, esp the sauce that it came with. I had jambalaya with spicy rice. It was spice and pretty good. The portion was large and I couldn't eat the whole thing, even though I ordered the small size. The big drawback to that dish was that it contained one single shrimp. Come on, at least give me 3-4 shrimp people! There are lots of tv's and the booth I sat in was comfortable. We are back in Raleigh and decided meet with friends and stop at the Yardhouse in North Hills. I know they have a GF menu and my husband says they have the best nachos. We were welcomed by a friendly staff, we got a table right away and our server Daniel was very attentive. Its been a year since we have been there and to our surprise the menu has changed and it seems that things at the kitchen are done differently. I also didn't remember the music being so loud. We were yelling the entire time across and even Daniel our server could not hear us. I asked him if we were directly under a speaker and he says that its loud everywhere. The pull pork nachos are no longer available and they now have a poke nacho or chicken nachos. My husband went with the chicken nachos but says the flavors are not same as they were before and the cheese was burnt. They are no longer the best nachos. The GF menu was as about the same and I had the tomatoe bisque and a kale caesar salad. The tomatoe bisque was as always, it kinda tasted like the ones I buy in Costco or Trader Joes. It was good but now out of this world. The kale caesar had more romaine than kale and I had to fish for the tomatoes, nuts and raisins. I remember that salad being delicious before and full of life. This time it didn't meet my standards. The passion fruit mojito was really good though. I guess this has become the place to just come have a drink. The bar was packed.
