We came here with a large party of about 20 people, and honestly, Lynnwood did a really solid job accommodating us, which alone deserves credit. Large groups are never easy, but service stayed organized and patient throughout the meal. The pizza was good, thicker crust, plenty of cheese, and a solid amount of sauce. Nothing fancy, but very satisfying and exactly what you want from a neighborhood pub/sportsbar. The chicken tenders were also a hit and came with beer-battered fries that were crispy and hot. Looking around the table, most people seemed genuinely happy with their food, which is always a good sign with a group this size. Pricing felt reasonable, portions were fair, and no one left hungry. My partner and I really enjoyed our first time here. A sports bar grill atmosphere, but nice tables to the side and not very noisy. They brew their own beer here and my pale ale was very tasty. A hidden gem IMO. We dropped our son off at Nc state for a summer camp and momma needed a drink after! My son and I decided to try this restaurant right before watching a movie. We were on a tight schedule and the parking lot was looking packed. BUT, we figured the food had to be good. It was. The host was very welcoming and we had a great waitress. We also got the Buffalo Strips in Raspberry Habanero. They were yum! I've always been a big fan of their Mosaic Pale Ale, but now that I'm a resident of Raleigh, I got to go to LBC for the first time. The staff was super friendly and engaging and Jennifer was a great server, good attitude and a nice smile. I asked for a certain game to be turned on the TV, and they quickly obliged. I was given two samples of beer for free, though I would have been happy to try more. The wings are on market price, which I've never seen before. I've seen it for seafood and steaks, but never wings! Anyway, I got 2 orders of 6 wings. Because if you get an order of 12, you cannot get different flavors. I don't agree with that rule, but ok. I got an order of Chipotle BBQ and an order of Cajun dry rub. Big juicy wings, well cooked, great flavors. Very well done. For the road, I did get a Thespian pizza, with spinach, portabellas, tomatoes, garlic, mozz, and feta, and I added grilled chicken. Normally service here is pretty good and we enjoy the food. I have really enjoyed a few servers like Iva and I think his name was Michael. But if I didn't enjoy most servers here and the food, I would give this a 1 star rating just for Mckayla. We have had her a couple times and she was rude and she never rings in our order correctly. We always order extra crispy wings and whenever we have her, they never come that way. We don't think it's a kitchen issue since it only happens with her. When we got in we asked to sit in Iva section. We were told a table was open but not in her section and if we wanted to wait, we decided we will just take whoever. The hostess told Iva we asked for her and she stopped by and said hi, we asked if it was a problem to trade tables and she went to go ask. We were met with McKayla coming to us and yelling at us about how she lost a table and we should just wait next time. To which I told her, we told the hostess we were fine with whoever. It was extremely unprofessional and distasteful and I think she ruins the vibe and service of lynwood. I have been coming here for years and have only not enjoyed 2 servers in those 12 years, McKayla being one of them. Aside from all of that, we normally really enjoy coming here. The Lynwood Grill has been on my list of restaurants to try as I live right down the street but hadn't gotten around to going. This afternoon I met some friends there for drinks and we were all really disappointed with the food and quality of service. We sat upstairs on the outdoor patio and our waitress was very inattentive. We ordered a round of drinks which she brought over to the table but then she walked away and didn't ask if we wanted to order any food. When we finally got her attention we ordered fries for the table and they were cold when they arrived. We also weren't provided any ketchup or napkins so my friend approached another waiter to get some. A few more of us wanted to order additional food and a second round of drinks but our waitress seemed more interested in the TV over the bar. We finally got up and approached the bar tender to ask about more drinks. At this point our waitress came back over and we ordered our drinks and food. I ordered a cup of French onion soup and it took a long time to arrive. One of my friends said she saw the waitress bring my soup out and place it on a shelf, but not bring it over. I'd believe it because when I finally got the soup it was luke warm. Overall, I was not impressed with the Lynwood Grill. I won't be in any hurry to go back. read more

However, we didn't get a lot of check ins and had to point out that our appetizers hadn't arrived for this to even be investigated. Drink refills, extra napkins, sauces, etc were not something that were addressed well. What we thought might be a quickish late lunch took 1.5 hour+. Came here for a late dinner after viewing the Van Gogh exhibit. I had heard such wonderful things about this place from my friends so I was excited to try it. Updating my review since we continue to visit Lynwood often. Lynwood is popular so it is often busy. Usually we can get a table without waiting long. The food used to be a lot better (particularly the burgers and wings), but most of the items are still good. Customer service is still excellent. I missed the name of our server during our most recent visit but she is awesome. She typically works day shift and is very efficient and attentive. Most recently I chose the Angus burger and regret it. They only cook medium well or well done. Mine was definitely over cooked and just tasted like the grill/burnt. The sweet potato fries were good as well as the Mediterranean wrap, Buffalo chicken sandwich, and salads. The pizza is excellent. It is well balanced and the crust is delicious and soft. We also liked the pickle chips. They are a bit soggy, but covered in dill making them so flavorful. They offer a variety of beers. Back that Razz up continues to be a favorite. Overall, we enjoy the food, service, and beer here and recommend Lynwood to others! read more

Stopped by to grab a quick lunch from Lynnwood Grill yesterday after being in the area doing some shopping. I was solo and just wanted to relax and enjoy a nice quiet lunch so upon arrival I asked the hostess if they could seat me on the patio kind of secluded away from everyone and they did just that. It was such a beautiful day and the patio was just right, well kinda. (will get to that later) I had a really nice waitress who made sure I was taken care of. From my drink order being taken to my actual order she was so attentive. Not to mention my food came out super fast! I ordered 6 Honey BBQ Wings with an order of Cheese Fries. Everything was good! I always prefer the actual nacho MELTED cheese for my cheese fries not the shredded melted. Because the cheese only stays on the top and doesn't bother to hit the bottom ones lol. . . Overall I truly enjoyed my lunch experience here, though it wasn't my first time here it was one of the best! The ONLY thing I would recommend is having the designated "Smoking Area" AWAY from your outdoor patio. Maybe on the other side or towards the back of the building. Getting hints of cigarette smoke smells throughout my lunch was not fun as I do not like the smell of cigarettes.
