My partner and I really enjoyed our first time here. A sports bar grill atmosphere, but nice tables to the side and not very noisy. They brew their own beer here and my pale ale was very tasty. We had an Angus burger with chips and the Pork Belly BLT sandwich with fries. They were both very good, portions large and very fresh. Zero complaints here and will return... oh and the service was very good as well.

A hidden gem IMO. We dropped our son off at Nc state for a summer camp and momma needed a drink after! I got the fried chicken sandwich and it was honestly one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had. I got a side of pickle chips and there was SO many!! Really good! I would definitely come back in the area.

My son and I decided to try this restaurant right before watching a movie. We were on a tight schedule and the parking lot was looking packed. BUT, we figured the food had to be good. It was. The host was very welcoming and we had a great waitress. We also got the Buffalo Strips in Raspberry Habanero. They were yum! Only complaint with them was the majority was more crust than meat on them. It was a loud and bumping in there, but the service was fast, efficient and pleasant. I definitely would go back if I'm ever in the area.

Great casual dinning place, great for craft beers and good eats. Has weekday specials. Great place to bring friends or coworkers has a very large seating area and patio.

Lots of parking. Bar tenders are super nice, friendly and efficient. We really enjoy Lynwood, most of the time we sit at the bar because there are plenty of TV's. The mushrooms are ok- they are stuffed with cheese- don't like how they are dripping with oil/ greasy do have good flavor. I enjoy the house salad add grilled chicken with raspberry dressing no onions. It has plenty of toppings. Atmosphere is good room is a bit dark.

Parking was easy and it's close to several stores like Target, Goodwill, etc. We stopped in for lunch while we were out doing errands. It's a fun atmosphere, lots of TVs going so whatever your game is, it's probably on! Broad menu, not so much it was tough to decide though. I had the spinach calzone and my husband got the Angus burger w homemade chips as the side. I am taking half my calzone home, it was huge! He said the burger was really good and hit the spot. Chips were REALLY good! They have a great flavor. Service was on point, attentive and quick. I love it when the keep the water filled up without asking. I love coming here in the spring/summer/fall and sitting on the roof. Give it a try if you are in this neck of the woods!

One of my favorite places to hangout and watch a great game! The salads here are so delicious not to mention HUGE! The pizza is also very good here as well. The service is amazing! The bar was completely slammed and somehow they always got to us quickly when we needed something and always got the orders right!

We had three different beers from this brewery, one in which appears to be no longer in production. The discontinued one was a pale ale by the name of Peacemaker. It was refreshing and enjoyable to have. Flavor features with this beer are that typically seen with a pale ale which are hoppy, malty and sweet. The beer is very light bodied which is nice and very smooth. Unfortunate that it's out of production. The other two beers we had are still being made. One was Shotgun Betty which is a Hefeweizen. Not bad but sometimes I struggle with Hefes and the strong banana clove flavor which was the case here. It was good that it was light bodied like most Hefes are and smooth also. The final beer was the Sweet Josie Brown Ale which I think was my favorite. The sweet, malty and coffee flavors are very enjoyable and like the prior two beers a nice smooth body to this fine dark beer. I am glad I recalled this brewery experience as I felt it was important to post the beers we had and what we thought of them!

I had the flounder tacos, which were fresh, flavorful, beautifully seasoned but not hot or overly spicy and included fresh corn, slaw and magic. My husband had a summer vegetable risotto with pan seared salmon and he raved about it. We each had the classic old fashioned with the restaurant's signature bourbon and we shared an exquisite peach and bourbon bread pudding for dessert which was surprisingly light, but a large enough portion for us to take some home in a to-go box. The vibe is beautiful. The owner Hali stopped by to chat with us and the host, John, was a pure delight. Relaxing evening, great ambiance and service and delicious food. If it's a beautiful day, I'd definitely recommend sitting outside instead. Still, the inside has a cozy, laid-back feel that works well. Shoutout to Qua, who was both the hostess and our server. She was welcoming, attentive, and handled everything smoothly, even as a few more parties came in while she was the only one serving at the time. One thing I really appreciated was that she let us know upfront what items were out of stock before we even looked at the menu. That level of transparency is huge and makes the experience so much better. My son ordered a slider with fries from the kids' menu. It comes with just one slider, so I ordered a second, definitely the right call. He enjoyed it, and the fries were cooked well, just a little on the salty side for our taste (ketchup helped balance that out). I had the shrimp tacos. It's packed and perfect portion for lunch. The shrimp, pineapple slaw, and chipotle mayo was a nice mix. The restaurant was clean (including the bathrooms). The location is also a plus, super close to the Art Museum, which makes it a great stop before or after visiting. Overall enjoyable, and I'd come back, especially to try more of the menu and the drinks.

The NY Strip arrived more than well done, so we told the waitress and she apologized and sent it back to the kitchen. As I was eating the meatloaf, I noticed an off taste and texture. I looked closer and realized it was still pink/slimy/raw! How can meatloaf be raw? It's supposed to be fully cooked first and then grilled. Whoever sliced it from the "loaf" should have noticed it was not cooked before throwing it on the grill! We notified the manager when he came to apologize for the NY strip, so he took the meatloaf back to the kitchen. When the NY Strip came back out, my husband cut into it and it was shiny and purple inside, from top to bottom...absolutely rare. The waitress agreed it was rare and took it back to the kitchen again. When it came out for the third time, it was perfect (third time's a charm, I guess?). The only saving grace was the kind waitress who felt awful about the sub par food. The kitchen put her in an uncomfortable position, but she handled it with grace. We ordered the chocolate torte for dessert and it was very good, but that's the only thing I'd return for.

We immediately became addicted to the house-made chips served with two incredible cheese dips--one sharp cheddar and the other a rich blue cheese. They were absolutely irresistible! The only disappointment of the evening was the French onion soup, which was a bit thin and lacked the rich flavor I was expecting. The filet mignons were cooked to perfection and served with a creamy Béarnaise sauce, accompanied by mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. My perfectly crafted Old Fashioned was the ideal pairing and complemented the meal beautifully. Although the dessert tray was filled with tempting, decadent creations, we were simply too full! Instead, we enjoyed a scoop of delicious locally made vanilla ice cream with sprinkles, produced by a nearby college, along with a warm Bailey's coffee to finish the evening. Before leaving, be sure to stop by their charming gift shop, where you'll find many of the homemade specialties served in the restaurant, including the famous chips and cheese spreads. You can also relax with a cocktail on the expansive outdoor wooden deck overlooking a beautiful koi pond, surrounded by antique wooden horses that add to the unique atmosphere. Angus Barn is far more than just a great steakhouse--it is a memorable dining destination and an experience you'll be talking about long after the meal is over.
