I realize that there are some bad reviews but my experience was fantastic. I stopped for lunch while waiting for my passport to process down the street and the service and food was fantastic. I sat at the bar and the bartenders were knowledgeable and very quick. I had the calamari, and it was lightly breaded, but the real winner was the two sauces it came with. One was a spicy jalapeño sauce that was tasty!! They gave me testers of a couple beers before I landed on the Maui pineapple. Overall, my experiences was great. The tacos came out first, so we started eating them & then they brought out the burger next. We could tell that the burger bun was not gluten free so we told the waitress that we needed a gluten free burger. They bring out the burger again with fries.. we ate a few fries, only to find out that they were not gluten free & the burger was supposed to come with a side salad. This was very disappointing! We have a gluten allergy, so I am now preparing myself for potentially a very horrible evening ahead of me. The other thing, is that I went to the restroom before we left and, there was sewage water coming out of the ground. It smelt so bad! I wish I never came here! Not going to lie, most places that are attached to malls generally have terrible service because of the frequent foot traffics. I have to say every time I have come in, our waiters and waitresses have been incredible. Extremely polite, attentive and quick. You can never go wrong at Yard House. One of my favorite "chains". I feel like it's an upscale sports bars - tons of televisions, tons of great beers and drinks - great ambiance. The food menu is so expansive that if you cannot find something then that's on you... it's literally an encyclopedia. I love Yard House bars because they're huge and I never have a problem finding a seat, even if it's a Friday or Saturday. I find that they are pricey... Went here with a group of friends for dinner and drinks after a game night at Round 1 (it's next door! check it out too). I couldn't gauge how hungry I was and honestly had spent an ungodly amount at the arcade so I went for their Firecracker Shrimp appetizer and a crisp Angry Orchard. The shrimp was pretty delicious, had a nice little kick to it that didn't kill the taste buds. Do I wish they provided a bigger portion? Yes. All of it fits on its crunchy rice cake base. The menu for this place is really extensive, so there's probably something for whatever craving you have. The onion ring tower was barely warm. He never once checked on us after someone else brought out our meals. The lettuce wraps are SO GOOD, I generally order them at PF Chang's but they were on the menu so I had to try them! We also tried the truffle fries which were so crispy and coated with Parmesan which added an extra kick of flavor that the kids loved. We did fish tacos and Beyond Burgers. The BBS are flame grilled which is generally great with Impossible burger, but the slightest charring really emphasizes the odd aftertaste of the BB. Yes we are only flexitarians and eat meat so maybe it wouldn't bother us if we didn't have options lolz anywhoo the meals were ENORMOUS and we walked around the mall for an hour then skated for three hours and were barely hungry an hour after that!! I have to say... I don't usually shout out chain restaurants nor do I usually give them 5 stars, but this is my exception. Since going gluten free for my husband's allergy, it's been tough finding restaurants that not only offer gluten free options but that are safe enough for him not to get glutened from cross contamination. We felt comfortable enough, and I ordered 2 carne asada tacos and 1 blackened shrimp taco. Both were good. The shrimp had quite a bite that I wasn't expecting, but it was really good flavor. My husband ordered the peppered steak, which he devoured quicker than he anticipated. He had to slow down because it was so good!
