We had a matcha smoothie, which had a sweet, strong matcha flavor - my favorite. We also had a mango smoothie, which was very refreshing. For food, we tried a bubble waffle, which was topped with strawberries and vanilla wafers. So delicious!!

Sweet Sip definitely met our expectations that day. I got the dark and stormy milk tea which came with honey boba. It was interesting to see that you could add free toppings to your milk tea which you rarely see elsewhere. I added the passion fruit jelly and pudding. Unfortunately there were no options in the delivery app to adjust for sweetness or ice so we got the drink as is. It was very well made but was sweeter than I'd prefer (my sweetness level is 70%). However because our accompanying dinner was spicier than expected, the sweetness of the drink actually helped us! I also ordered the mochi eggpuff with pandan flavor. I'm not sure if I could taste the pandan but the eggpuff was delicious. Again, sweeter than I'd typically like but the texture was great - crunchy outside with a chewy mochi filling. We had leftovers and it heated up excellently the next day in our simple toaster oven. This was intended to be a fun add-on to our meal and turned out to be quite essential - glad we tried them out!

I've heard folks raving about this place for years, so finally decided to swing by and try it out…read more First off, must say I'm a bit of a skeptic regarding specialty ice cream shops: with one exception (a now-defunct "frozen custard" shop in Friendswood, Texas of all places, where you could see the super-dense/rich stuff glacially oozing out of the machine, and one milkshake's worth of it kept me full for the rest of the day!) I have yet to find any that are significantly better than ordinary Haagen Daz from a supermarket. In fact, most ice cream parlour ice creams aren't even as good, while costing orders of magnitude more than supermarket H-D! Toscanini's is close to equal to H-D in my book...and mainly for the fact that they offer some truly unusual and original flavors: we had the Mango Sticky Rice, Burnt Caramel, and Kulfi. My friend who enjoyed the first one the most, quickly tired of the second, and the third was my favorite by far, mainly because I love cardamom and saffron so much. I was somewhat conflicted with the Burnt Caramel...first taste was delightful, but halfway through the novelty faded away for the most part. We both appreciated that the ice cream was not hyper-sweet like JP Licks, though. HOWEVER, the extreme creaminess, density, and dry mouth-feel of H-D was just not there, as usual. I'd describe the texture of Toscanini's ice cream to be fairly ordinary, like a typical soft/smooth gelato texture. Not bad, but not anything I would really write home about. YMMV of course. Otherwise, service was good and the place is clean and pleasantly modern inside, with 3 nice new steel benches to sit at outside. The benches are curiously turned AWAY from the street, I suppose to foster more of a "communal" vibe and people-watching opportunities. I've walked by during peak hours and seen it quite full, so this place clearly is still quite popular. At $8.25 for 3 scoops (albeit fairly generous sized scoops) of oh, 8 out of 10 ice cream, I don't see myself ever becoming a regular here despite the undeniably interesting/unique flavors, unless I came mainly for the people-watching opps on a nice weather day.

Sweet Frog Quincy is a self-serve frozen yogurt shop where you can choose your yogurt flavors,…read morebuild your own cup, and add toppings based on your preference. We walked into a simple, casual space with a bright, colorful interior that fits the playful style of the shop. The setup is straightforward and functional, with a row of yogurt machines along one wall and a large toppings bar in the center, making it easy to move through the process without much effort. It is the kind of place where the experience is built around customization rather than a specific signature dessert. The frozen yogurt itself was enjoyable and did satisfy the craving for something cold and sweet, but the flavors did not stand out as anything especially memorable. We tried a few different options and found them pleasant enough, though none had the distinctiveness that would make us specifically return for a particular flavor. The topping selection helped make the dessert more interesting, and having the option to mix different flavors and add different combinations gave us flexibility to build a cup that matched our preferences. The toppings were fresh and well stocked, and the variety across the selection gave us room to experiment with different textures and flavor pairings. The pricing felt reasonable for a self-serve froyo spot, especially since you control how much you want and what you add, and the ability to sample flavors before committing made the process more interactive and enjoyable. It is more about the customization experience than getting a specialty dessert. The shop also works well for a casual stop when you want something quick without needing a full dessert outing. The main thing to keep in mind is that the experience can depend on how busy the store is, and since it is self-service, the overall quality comes down to the cleanliness of the topping area, machine availability, and how well the space is maintained during peak times. Sweet Frog Quincy is a solid option for satisfying a frozen yogurt craving. The flavors were decent, the customization options were the biggest highlight, and the price was fair. It is not a place we would go specifically for a standout dessert, but it works well when you want a simple and customizable treat that hits the spot without overcomplicating the experience.
