Delicious! I really like their breakfast tacos. They are filling and flavorful. I would definitely recommend trying them.

The Mahi Mahi tacos were very good. Loved the cilantro cream sauce they put over the top. Gotta try some of the other food they offer next time. Sorry the pictures are so dark it was night outside at the zoo.

I visited this food truck on Wednesday at noon at the Music Row location in Nashville. I didn't know it was possible to have 'Mexican' and 'Gourmet' in the same sentence when describing a food truck, since I am so used to eating at rundown Mexican roach coaches, which interestingly get over 90+ scores on city inspections (maybe they actually scored 06 and taped the paper upside down, HA!). I ordered three items: chicken quesadilla, legend taco, and steak taco (they don't allow ordering just 1 taco). For $2.50 per taco, I was disappointed to see that they were so small. Again I am used to eating delicious tacos (same size) for $1. I tried the steak taco first. It was juicy, but the flavor was average/mediocre. Nothing stood out, but it wasn't bad either. So I thought to myself: not every item from one establishment has to be good. I moved on to the legend taco, which consists of meats: brisket, chorizo, and chicharron. This taco was juicy and flavorful. Out of the three items I ordered, this was probably the best. The chicken quesadilla was flat out disappointing. The chicken was utterly flavorless. I had to pile on the hot sauces to make up for it. For a place that markets itself as a Mexican food truck, the meats remind me more of Puerto Rican flavor instead. Even then it was still disappointing, especially for the price. Pretty paint, colorful menus, and nice uniforms/aprons don't justify the quality to cost ratio here. Chicken quesadilla + legend taco + azada taco = $12.07. And I was still left hungry (unusual, since a quesadilla and 1 taco usually fill me up). If I ordered two tacos and a quesadilla at a delicious roach coach, it would have been $6 total.

Terrible! This is how a quesadilla comes out after getting charged extra for tomato and quac but really was only a little bit

A joke they charged extra for this only to ruin it... at least put it on the side... $15 for a Taco Bell quesadilla

Was at the amphitheater to watch a concert and saw the food truck , thoguht to give it a shot as it said Gourmet Mexican food. Ordered a Cheese Quesadilla with chicken, they were quick to make it and did not take more than 7 minutes. Presentation was 5 stars but taste was 3 stars. The spicy sauce on the side just did not feel mexican at all, it tasted really weird. people around said the tacos were great i would give that a shot next time.

These tacos are so good! I got the legend, mahi mahi and shrimp. My boyfriend got the cholula and the original tacos.loved how juicy the shrimps were. Every bite was flavorful.

O.M.G.! If you manage to catch this elusive taco truck, walk... NAY run to it and order yourself the fish tacos. I can't really give an opinion on anything else on their menu other than these, since it's the only thing I've tried. Every time I visit, I keep telling myself to explore the menu more, but I never do. Yayo's fish tacos are authentic So-Cal style and feature crispy fried Mahi-mahi, a cabbage and raisin slaw, and cheese crumbles. They are HEAVY on the cilantro -which I love- and come wrapped in their delicious corn tortillas.

There is no 3.5 star, and I couldn't, in good conscience, give them 4 stars. This food truck comes to my job from time to time. I think the chicken tacos were amazing, the M&M is delicious, and the Mexican soup (when they have it) is also fabulous. But I've also had some not so good things. The carnitas taco was dry and the meat was a bit hard in some places. And um... I'm posting a picture of the chorizo tacos. See for yourself! I think that I wouldn't be so annoyed if the price wasn't so high. But they make their own tiny tortillas for the hit and miss tiny tacos. The hits are hits, But the misses are gross-tacular.

This is my favorite Nashville food truck! I have had the M&M (mexican melt), legend tacos, and fish tacos. All 3 were great! I would say with this truck, stick with the specialty items and you won't be disappointed.

I ordered the fish tacos and chohulu chicken tacos. The service was great! But the food was just ok. Needs more flavor. I expected more.

Hubs got a legend quesadilla and I had a trio of tacos: legend, fish and shrimp (suggested by the ladies on the truck).

Everything was wonderful! I got the sampler which was one of each type of taco - chicken, lamb, & beef. The consume had so much flavor! The tacos were wonderful & the perfect amount of crispness! Not only do you get wonderful tacos but the fresh cucumbers & radishes to dip in the 3 types of salsa were so good! I loved the cucumbers because they tasted so fresh! This is going to be my new Friday night ritual from now on!

Must try when in Nashville…read more This spot is inside Cyanide Cider, which is a really cool combo. As a tourist this is a grest spot to check out. You can have some great food, cider and even hang and play some board or card games. Everyone is super nice and welcoming both at Cyanide and Birria Babe. The food was great. We tried the Birria Trio (chicken, beef, lamb) tacos. All were great but the lamb was my favorite. It's a little more fatty ans softer. The beef and chicken were great as well. We also tried the Birria Ramen which i thought was great. They provide a good amount of beef and the broth is rich and flavorful. The pizza was bit too cheesy for me but I love trying new things so Im glad I did. We were told that they experiment and rotate different fun birra specials often. The salsas are all great. I like the spicy which has strong garlic and very unique flavor to it. The avocado salsa also stood out, almost a guac like flavor. All sauces were very unique and amazing. The cashier was super nice and we spent some time talking to the owner, drinking cider and hanging and pigging out. An afternoon well accomplished...
