I had to request for the manager to be called because the young lady was not budging when stating that even if I purchased the food and or/water, non alcoholic beverages, I could not sit. Hell, yes. There is a beer cart that serves local microbrewery beers in the airport. And local law means that you can have your beer to go and enjoy elsewhere in the terminal while you wait for your flight. It's located in the center of the C concourse with the AA and Southwest flights. A little spendy at $10 for a pint. But it's good beer that is way better than the usual macro brews. This was a great find in the Nashville Airport, and one I hope to continue to frequent as my travels take me there. They have a very simple concept: 8-10 beers on tap, all Yazoo (local Nashville). They have evergreen styles plus a seasonal or two. Including lighter options, which today seems to be limited as brewers angle for heavier and hoppier brews. I went for the sampler, which was an amazing deal. It included six 5 oz. samples (do the math on how much actual beer that is) for $13.50 (as of August 2018). It's basically easier to tell the server which beers you DON'T want in the sample. As it happened, the server accidentally poured the wrong one (he noted this, I didn't point it out) and went ahead and just gave me the seventh. So for $13.50, I pretty much had all the beer I wanted for my layover. They also sell $8 and $10 larger pours sizes. The location is very convenient to the gates at the end of the C terminal (and you can take your beer throughout the airport). Note that this moved from near the food court to a new location (some of the photos show the old location). You can't miss it against a back wall, big sign. It's just a "U" bar with taps, nothing fancy. My favorite beer was the Sue, a smokey malt beverage, very thick. Best served near room temperature and last as a dessert. I would have trouble finishing more than about 8 oz. of that one. Next was probably the Pale Ale, then the Gerst Amber. My least favorite was the summer seasonal Gose (which was the one I didn't order that he accidentally poured). Everyone has their own palates, hence the sampler is the way to go. If you're in Nashville airport with time to kill, I recommend making the walk to the end of the "C" terminal, it's worth it! read more

Why 4 stars? Because the only good thing about BNA are the beer carts. --- --- --- Nashville remains my least favorite major airport in the country, but Yazoo is one of the very few things I like about BNA. I hate sounding like a whiny traveler with first-world problems, because if you see my other reviews for BNA, you'll notice a trend. Every restaurant I've experienced here has ranged from below-average to awful. My goal is to never layover here again, but if I'm absolutely forced to, I know I'll be swinging by the two beer carts in this airport: Tennessee Brew Works and Yazoo Beer Cart. Truth be told, I liked my beer from the other cart even more, but Yazoo has a slightly larger selection. The best part about it is that you can take your beer from this cart and walk it all the way to your gate. I don't know if that's something you can do at other airports, so at least BNA has that going for it. With that being said, if I am forced to travel through Nashville in the future, I'll see you then, Yazoo... but I hope I don't have to. read more

I definitely hate being at any airport, it feels like I'm trapped with limited options to eat that are overpriced and terrible choices. With that being said, the Nashville airport (BNA) has some choices that make the experience better than most. My husband and I recently stopped the Yazoo beer cart when we arrived 2 hours for our international flight. There were lots of our Yazoo favorite for purchase. They offered 16 oz and 20 oz of multiple different types of their beers. I had a 20oz Hefeweizen and my husband had a 20 oz Hop Perfect IPA. The pour was perfect with very little foam. The beer was served cool and was an enjoyable break from the airport experience. This beer cart also offers a sampler of six different types of Yazoo beers for those who might not be familiar with the types of beers that Yazoo offers. Another option to was to buy a 6 pack to go - although it can't be opened until you get to your destination. We'll be stopping here every time we are at the airport. read more

Service was poor. 3 people working behind this airport beer cart and I had one employee half engaged in taking my order. Maybe it was the result of a shift change--regardless I shouldn't have to experience poor service as a result. This place made my layover great. I grabbed a sushi roll next door then came here to enjoy it with some beer. I did a flight and also the Sue ( their specialty beer). They were all quite drinkable, with the Hefe, the porter, and the Sue being the best. The Sue is smoked, and quite unique. The best part of being here was the service. I forget the woman's name but she was great in every way. She just knows that layovers are boring and had great conversation skills to make the time fly. She came from overseas and talked about life there, and why she chose Nashville. She clearly has a lot of friends working in the airport because when things were slow people would just stop by and join in the conversation for a few minutes. It gave a small, home-town bar vibe to this weird, potentially impersonal, kiosk in a busy airport. read more

Not a bad beer, hef had a nice banana wheat taste. At $8 for 20oz it's comparable to your typical airport beer price. Customer service needs a makeover. The young lady working the 8pm shift on a Thursday night couldn't be ruder. She was stressed with having to close out so many tabs, so she snapped at me and hurriedly gave me a beer that was an inch below the top. Only after I complained did she tell me she gave me a 20oz cup for the 16oz cup that I paid for. A little warning would've been nice before she handed it to me. Yazoo beer is not particularly good; every type I ever had, had a carbonated taste. But I did get a good table in the food court to work on my laptop during the flight delay! read more

As soon as they opened I noticed the tap handle for the Hop Project IPA was missing and the lady working the bar said they have been out since the day before. Ummmmm ok! Excellent selections for an airport bar. Solid selections from hefeweizens to stouts. They print both IBUs and SRM on their menu. The staff was unaware of what those numbers mean, so a bit of a training program wouldn't hurt. Excellent stop for a beer hound on a layover in Nashville. read more

Arrived early for our late night southwest flight back to Cleveland, and had about an hour before boarding. On our way to our gate we passed this 'beer on the go' kiosk, and it peeked our interest. The woman said they were open until 8:30pm. There was a vino wine bar next to our gate, but I was craving a nice cold beer. The woman working was helpful in choosing the right beer, although there's hardly any bad choices. I went with her suggestion for a light beer, the Gerst, and was very pleased. I left my bags and our dog with Patrick at the gate, and couldn't bring him a beer, as they needed two IDs, which was annoying but makes sense. I got back to the gate and sent him over to get his own beer no more than five minutes later since we were right around the corner (8:15pm) and they said they were closed and wouldn't give him a beer! This was super annoying because I told the woman he would be right over, and she told me they were open until 8:30pm. What place closes at 8:15pm? This didn't add up, but luckily I got the biggest beer, and sharing is caring, right? :) read more
