A great one stop shop for groceries and delicious food and drinks! Service was friendly! They also validate parking when you purchase items because they have a garage you can park in. There's also some seating inside if you decide to food there! I was quite impressed by their large selection of items! From fresh produce to Asian items like sauces, frozen goods, snacks, and more! At the deli, they have drinks options (milk teas, coffee, boba) and the highlight was definitely the bahn mi and bagel bahn mi options! They also have cookies and danishes! Food: - I got the mango milk tea with coconut jelly - a little on the sweet side but still really good! - tofu bahn mi - very tasty and had great flavor! - brisket bagel bahn mi - soo good! The bagel really adds a lot! - hubby got the avocado shake and the beef rib bahn mi and loved it! Overall, a great spot and we can't wait to come back for more bahn mi sandwiches!

After a stop in Pioneer Square, I decided to check out Yellow Bee in Yesler Terrace (9/21/24). I was lucky to find street parking around the corner. It is also located on a streetcar route along Yesler. Grabbed a shopping and started wandering down each aisle. I enjoy exploring international grocers and bodegas to see various items not commonly found. Lots to view on the shelves, refrigerated & frozen cases, and produce area. Yellow Bee also has a cafe counter where beverages, baked goods, and deli items can be ordered. I found primarily beverages, condiment, Korean noodle, and European choxolate of interest. Such a variety of potential impulse purchases, despite exercising restraint, spent over $30. Appreciated not being charged for a grocery bag fee. However, later saw a "sweetened" charge on my receipt. I think it was the City of Seattle charge on the three beverages purchased. Just saying. Convenient for nearby residents, but routine grocery shopping probably best made in adjacent Chinatown-International District, First Hill, or Central.District neighborhoods.

It's a market and a deli in one place! This is the newer location of Yellow Bee located in First Hill. First of all, street parking is rough here needless to say. Once you do get there, the place is your average grocery store but with more Asian food and packs of chips that come in bags that I haven't seen before. There's also a large wine section, and everything's very well and colorfully organized. My friend and I didn't come here for the groceries though. We instead went for their banh mi sandwiches and drinks. They did advertise their banh mi bagels but was told they didn't sell them just yet. I got the grilled pork banh mi with a peach milk tea, and my friend got the beef brisket banh mi with an avocado smoothie. The smoothie took a while coming out but we were also given extra as they made an excess. Everyone working behind the counter was extremely accommodating and friendly, and also enjoyed asking about my day and my friend's as well. As for the food, the braised beef banh mi was too saucy for our liking but this didn't detract from my experience. Peach milk tea and avocado smoothie were both all right and nothing too special. The grilled pork banh mi was our favorite by far! Tons of flavor and the right amount of filling, all in a sandwich that's pricier than average by far but also longer than what I've seen on average too. The quality of this sandwich by far reaches the quality of some of the best banh mi sandwiches I've had here in Seattle so far!

New market opened on Yesler serving its community with practical goods and also some great food. It's not the cheapest place to grab simple things like fruits and vegetables, but it's not as sketchy as some other areas (if you know what I mean). Made to order Banh mis, grab&go foods, snacks, coffee, and bubble tea are just a few things you can get at Yellowbee Market. A banh mi will set you back between $10-$16. With various traditional and non-traditional fillings. Coffee drinks and bubble teas/shakes range between $4-$8 depending on your order. The fruit options all seem to be powder/syrups. Other items that I was surprised to see were thin sliced hotpot meat, South American grade A sour cream, tofu of all types, breads, tortillas, Asian branded ice cream and soooooo many snacks! It's a perfect place to pickle up some lunch and chill in their dinning area or go across the street to the spray park/ playground at Yesler Community Center. The staff are quick and friendly and if you have questions or recommendations they're there to answer them. I'm curious if they will be having a weekly special or weekly circulation for sales. The down side is that parking can be a bit of a hassle since Caphill/ID has limited spaces to park in. If you're taking the street car from Pioneer Square to Broadway then it stops practically right I front.

Sweet little Viet grocery store in the Yesler neighborhood just under an apartment complex. They also have a sweet cafe area serving up drinks and food including banh mi. Holistically, a great addition to the area. Green Milk Tea w/ Boba - strange that they don't have black tea as a base but have both jasmine and green. Nonetheless, the tea is brewed well and flavorful but the sweetness definitely overpowers it. Can only imagine what the flavored syrups contribute. Boba was chewy but had absolutely no flavor which got boring real quick. Decent to satisfy cravings but would trek into Chinatown for other options.

Went here on a Thursday at around 7pm. This is inside a grocery store, it was very hectic with lots of people hanging inside and outside the store. I had very low expectations and they actually were better than I thought but it still wasn't good and I wouldn't go back. The tea part of the drinks were pretty solid, did not need adjustments to sweetness but overall the toppings were not that great. Avocado - 3/10: avocado was still raw, could taste it. Fresh milk with condensed milk so it's very watered down. (Rating and notes from persons whose drink it was lol) Passionfruit 6/10: fine but watered down with the ice, grass jelly is a little too dense and flavorless Lychee green tea: 6.5/10: the tea was pretty good but I wanted lychee jelly and they ran out so they gave me rainbow jelly which I do not care for

This new grocery store is like a mini Uwaji's with an impressive array of Asian items. I was very curious about their coffee bar and banh mi station. On my first visit, I went in the morning and got a mocha, which was a bargain at $5.00 for a 16 oz coffee drink. I also ordered a chicken banh mi, which was really good. The bread was fresh - crispy on the outside and soft inside. The grilled chicken was moist and flavorful. I would have it again. For my 2nd visit, I went around 1:30pm and ordered the brisket banh mi, which was very tasty. So far, I'm very impressed with their grilled meats. One thing to note - if there's a line, expect your banh mi to be delayed. In both visits, the cashier also serves as the banh mi maker. I'm definitely intrigued here and looking forward to coming back to see what other food offerings (eg, spam musubi, rice bowls) there might be during lunch and later in the day. There is counter seating inside, as well as outdoor patio seating. Finding street parking during the day is tricky with surrounding construction. There is pay parking in the building garage.

WOW! SO excited to write this review! Yellowbee just opened today 06/20/24 and it is EXACTLY what the Yesler area needs. I live in the apartment complex where the shop is located and I am SO excited that they just opened! Yellowbee is a deli/compact supermarket that offers a convenient and vibrant shopping experience, offering daily necessities, with a handpicked selection of fresh meat, seafood, fruits, and vegetables, as well as a large selection of beer/wine/spirits! One of the highlights of Yellow Bee is its coffee/espresso bar, where you can indulge in a variety of specialty coffees and beverages, including bubble tea! The sitting area provides a cozy space for friends to hang out, catch up, and enjoy their drinks, creating a sense of community within the store. Not only is Yellow Bee a grab-and-go market, it features a variety of quick and nutritious food choices, with a special focus on Banh Mi, a Vietnamese sandwich known for its delicious flavors and healthy ingredients. 10/10!

If there's one thing you need to get it is the beef brisket banh mi. The spicy sweet sauce, the tender beef, the fresh cilantro and veggies, just so so bomb. For sure get it. The chicken banh mi is not worth it in my opinion, I'd definitely stick to some of the other ones. I liked their short rib bagel banh mi but it tasted a little bit too charred. They have some very good pastries and fresh drinks but to be honest, we didn't think their drinks were their strong suit. However, their avocado smoothie was literally the epitome of an avocado. Definitely recommend this place

I was disappointed that my drink tasted like powder instead of tea. Cool concept and they do have a unique Taro Matcha latte that I tried. Good service and they did have retail parking around the corner.

Beautiful store layout, CLEAN, smells good. And the store smell isn't affected by the deli station either. Very impressive. Their deli selections are outstanding also, delicious food

Honestly food + drinks were bad... Drinks: wayyyy too sugary and clearly made from powder Banh mi: had no flavor. They just added hoisin sauce which should not be the only thing. Also they served it cold. The bread was soft not toasted. Dessert: wayy too sugary and buttery

Yellow Bee Market is an awesome shop, place to grab a bit, and an overall great addition to the area. The variety of grocery options was very impressive (imported snacks, produce, meats, wine, beer, etc) and I appreciated the coffee and sandwich menu. The food we tried was quite good and overall had a great shopping experience. I would recommend they install a self check out area so that customers who are grocery shopping do not also have to be in the same line as coffee patrons eetc. Definitely will be back!

Nearly empty shelves... I came for a soda or sparkling water and ended up leaving with nothing.

Chocolate Babka (2/5): This was truly the only miss I've had here. Unfortunately, the babka just really dries out after it's been sliced, which is a shame because it's just gorgeous with generous swirls of chocolate inside. Reuben (5/5): I really thought their pastrami couldn't be beat, but the brisket is dare I say better? Just as tender and feels a bit less fatty, so it's a little more crushable. Tip: go for the seeded rye over the marbled rye; something about the marbled rye just falls apart a bit more with the juices of the meat, though it's still delicious! Black & White Cookies (4/5): I expected this to be cloyingly sweet, but this was actually scrumptious with some fresh lemon flavor in the cookie itself. Absolutely massive as well.

I'd heard they were good, but holy smokes, I didn't realize they would be *that* good. Here are my recommendations: - Get the Tatstrami. Its combination of flavors is so freaking good. - Order online and then sweep in and pick it up. Since the place does most of its business during lunchtime, there's always a line and this is a way to skip that.
