My girlfriend, her son, and I requested a booth. The hostess told us the wait time would be 20 minutes. Over 45 minutes had passed and we were still waiting for the booth. Another party had several minutes after us and they were immediately seated in a booth. Management admitted they unintentionally seated the other party first and they apologized. To compensate for this mistake, the server still honored the Happy Hour menu; our wait was so long that Happy Hour had just ended. We initially ordered an appetizer that was not eligible for the Happy Hour rate, so we changed our order to fried calamari (not pictured). The server originally still attempted to serve our first appetizer after we mentioned that we wanted the calamari. After this correction was made, the fried calamari was excellent. It was crunchy on the outside while chewy on the inside. The roasted jalapeño tartar sauce and spicy tomato sauces were perfect sides to the dish. As soon as the meal arrived, it was a decent finish to a rocky start. The steak was cooked medium, but still had a fair amount of pink. The cut was tender and juicy. I especially enjoyed the dipping sauce because of its bourbon flavor; I highly recommend requesting a second cup because the sauce also paired well with the mashed potatoes and broccoli. While my experience with the main course was spot on, there was a tweak with my girlfriend's son. He ordered truffle fries as part of his side dish, but it arrived several minutes after everything had already been served. He barely ate any, but he requested a doggy bag. Overall, the experience started off on a negative note with a few bumps along the way, but I was highly pleased with the meal and appetizer itself. I waited at my high top for about 15 minutes before someone came and I put in an order for queso with meat and a margarita. I had 3 more people meeting me at this table and 25 minutes go by and still no food or drink. After about 30 minutes my burnt queso with no ground beef comes. My 3 people move to the bar and I ended up cashing out AND tipping because I just wanted to move to the bar for faster service. I go to the bar and my friends have their drinks and I'm still waiting on mine and I cheers with a fist to just join in. 5 minutes go by and I finally get my margarita. The bar area was better but we wanted to watch the GA game on March Madness. We were told by 3 staff members that they were not allowed to turn the tv to watch a GA game and were sitting at an Atlanta, GA bar. As always, we tipped both servers because everything isn't their fault but this Yardhouse location will never see me again.

Amazing food and such a great experience! We tried Yellow Handi and everything was absolutely delicious! The food came out fresh, hot, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the spices and freshness in every dish. The naan was one of my favorites -- soft, fluffy, buttery, and perfectly cooked with that fresh tandoor char. We also tried several different curries and Indo-Chinese dishes, and everything was packed with flavor. Even the masala papad was fresh, crispy, and loaded with onions and tomatoes. I ordered the Veggie Samosas and the Veggie Tiki Masala. Both are really good. My hubby ordered the Goat Biryani. It was a little spicy for him, but he said it was good. And the Naan Bread was fresh and hot! The next time we went, we dined in. I ordered a couple of appetizers - Kurkuri Bhindi and the Samosa Chaat, which were both delicious. The 65 chicken is good. I've been coming here for almost a year and I just tried the 65 shrimp (even better). As my per usual the rice goat biryani never disappoints. It's one of the most flavorful, fragrant dishes they have. I highly recommend any of the biryani dishes, especially the shrimp. I like this place because it busts the myth that all Indian food is spicy and oily. Not true for Yellow Handi. The prices are reasonable and the service is always good. I liked the aesthetic a lot and the music was modern and not too loud (issue with the place in Atl). The service was a little lacking. My review is based off "pop-up" for lunch at Northside Exchange 11/1/2023...Today's Wednesday…read more (well it was when I started writing my review..lol) I was leaving out the gyn office and immediately thought and said out loud, "Dayum that smells good!" I kept walking to the neighboring office to schedule a mammogram. Lady comes out gives me paperwork to complete. I strike up convo abt the smell. She walks away and comes back and says the building has "pop-up" vendor for lunch and today was Ethiopian. Basically, this was not my lunch plans for today, but it smelled sooo good. she says she never had ethiopian..I recommended my old faithful spot North Druid Hills area ("Desta") for her as a newbie. Anyway....i walk around until I located the smell. y'all it smelled so good. The selection was small which is great. it minimize indecisiveness and simple. My food barely made it out the parking lot. mind you it's paid parking lot and time was ticking. I was just as good as it smelled. Recommend trying them out at their actual location.

Was referred to this new location. Food was amazing everything I wanted. Could of stayed alot…read morelonger! Seating area was very clean and inviting. Tigi and her husband were very welcoming and friendly souls. Grateful for these amazing people to share their love for Ethiopia with me!

Visited 30 January 2026…read more We stumbled upon Wadadli Smoke and Grill. As an Antiguan native, as soon as we saw it, we knew we had to go in...and we did. We ordered both the spinach rice and the red bean peas rice, with brown stew chicken, and a side of cabbage. And I also had the half slab of pork ribs. The had local homemade juices as well, but because most contained ginger, I opted not to get any (I don't like ginger ‍). The interior is small. I think there was 2 tables, so dining in would not be a feasible option during busy hours. We took our food to-go, but ate some of the rice and chicken in the vehicle. The only thing we didn't like was the food was doused in gravy...way too much. The portions sizes are huge. It was a lot of food. We were able to split the rice between 2 of us, and the ribs fed me for 3 days! The food was delicious (I may be a bit biased ‍). The chicken was well seasoned, the rice cooked to perfection, and the ribs were well smoked! As stated, I didn't take a drink because of the ginger, and my companion told me I wouldn't like it because the ginger was strong! With regards to the food, everything on the menu looks delicious and I plan to go try other items.

Went back on June 11th. Just now getting up to reviewing. I ordered the oxtail plate with cabbage…read moreand rice and beans. It was all just okay. I loved that the cabbage still had a crunch. But none of it tasted of spices normally used in Jamaican cooking. The meat was not as tender as I'd prefer. The portion size was large. My daughter had the curry chicken. She liked it but said not enough to go back after. The service was excellent. The place is small. I remember the owner of the last restaurant there said the landlord didn't want to pay for an air conditioning unit and said if they added one it had to stay there. I see that must still be the case. It is sweltering on a hot day. I feel so bad for the workers. This team definitely had it cooler than the last renters, but it was still too hot for them to be in there all day cooking.
