They have an abundance of parking and every kind of cheese you can imagine. I appreciate that they had staff cutting and handing you samples instead of samples sitting out. There were plenty of staff to answer any question you may have and you could request a sample of any cheese. They actually encouraged you to try the cheese. We walked out of the cheese barn with a bag full of goodies and stroll across the courtyard to the candy shop. I was told Sweeties was a new addition. They had so many options it was overwhelming. The two stores could multiple charcuterie boards. We ended up with a bag full of sweets also. The courtyard was very cute and welcoming. As we were leaving an Amish man arrived in his horse drawn carriage to sell homemade baskets. It was nice to see a larger business supporting a small business. I would not hesitate to stop on my next trip.

The Pearl Road consisted of turkey, raclette cheese and cheddar cheese topped with a spicy berry bourbon mustard between sourdough bread slices then grilled to perfection. The Boho was also a grilled sourdough concoction, this time topped with cheddar, horseradish spread, salami, raclette cheese and grilled onions. I did try the dill pickle at the counter and it was definitely homemade and delicious. They also had some beef stick options, dips and cheese fudge. I had never heard of cheese fudge before so was very intrigued. It had a different texture and flavor than traditional fudge but was definitely worth trying. They also have traditional fudge on the other side of the store. There were workers behind the counter actively packing cheese and willing to answer any questions you might have. Much like other tourist attractions, you have to walk through the gift shop to get to the cash registers. The line was kind of long, but it moved fairly quickly. They are apparently now one of the largest manufacturers of swiss cheese in the US. When you enter, there is a shop which is a combination of gift shop, cheese accessories and grocery items. There is signage that shows off their awards, talks about some of their history and also takes about the difference between regular and baby swiss. The deli where you can get freshly sliced cheese is in the back. The clerks were extremely friendly answering questions and providing samples of anything you want to try. Much like the outside, the inside continues the swiss theme. The reason I gave it four instead of five stars is the space itself. It was really congested even though it wasn't really all that crowded. I can't imagine what it would be like on a busier day. J don't know what, if anything can be done about this that, but it definitely can be hard yo navigate if you have mobility issues or don't like crowds. Oh and the cheese hats are a fun nice touch.
