My daughter just had her 7th birthday party here on Saturday. I'm going to explain my review in sections. Initial booking experience: Easy enough- you use the website then someone calls you and explains the packages, sends over a contract, pay the deposit etc. Two weeks later I hadn't gotten an email about paying the rest of the party fee like we discussed. I called and emailed and no on responded- the website had been deleted so I sent them a dm. No response but I ended up figuring out how to pay it in full instead of the installments we agreed on. Slightly annoying but it was done. One week before the party I received and automated email from the booking website stating that I would be refunded the second payment I made- shock sets in. I called the number and left countless messages, emailed, insta dm'd- zero communication. At this point I figured o needed to be planning another party. Three days later I'm still calling and someone finally answers. Very nonchalantly says the party was still going to happen and they were having some issues with booking. Relieved but disturbed about communication and service but mentioned someone should have called me as soon as they found out. Party Day- I arrive at 10:55 party start time is 11am. Knocking on the door (panicked again) a teenager comes To tell me we can't enter until 11. Okay. 11am she rolls out a red carpet and goes in. No communication to us. Guests have arrived. Sticks her head out and says, "Y'all can come in" Party- They began putting very wrinkled robes on the kids. The room as silent other than the kids talking to each other. They went back chose their colors for their nails and toes and split the girls in three sections-makeup, nails, and toes. Only two kids were working. This felt very awkward. The parents were told to stay up front but of course I kept going back to check in. My daughter the birthday girl was crying at one point- the older girl said she was poked in the eye and my daughter had makeup in her eye. I asked if they had wipes or a napkin she told me to go get toilet paper out of the bathroom. (Upsetting but still stayed calm.) still only the two kids working. Most of the music playing was very randomly in Spanish. The owner comes out and brings a number 7 sign and heads back to her office. I say hey are you the owner I spoke with, she says yes and sends me an additional invoice for the two extra kids. Again the website seems to be having issues because it isn't processing my card payment. She told me it needed to be paid before she de my daughters nails. Luckily I had cash on hand. All kids finish several kids upset because nail polish looks like it was done by a kid- because it was. Happy Birthday- Cupcakes came out before food. Weird- but I'm sure the kids liked it. Time for pizza. The kids get one very small slice. That's it. That's the party. Very basic. Very expensive. Very underwhelming. read more

This place is such a girls girl party place. My daughter and her friends really had a awesome time. Definitely a fun experience. The hostess was so energetic and positive and made the experience go very smooth. I would say the 2 other hostess was more introverts and quiet. You kinda have to hire extrovert people for this type of job, especially dealing with kids. Overall a fantastic party, very reasonable in price and ON TIME. We started and ended on time. I will definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to shower their daughter with everything girly. read more

Shonda and Loni at Yellow House Parties are absolutely amazing! I took my girls there for their 4th birthday and they had the time of their lives. From the runway, to the spa, to the makeup room and we can't forget the champagne (Welch's sparkling grape juice ) is every little girls dream come true. The owner lacks the basic professionalism and integrity to run a success business. I REVIEWED (read line by line) and sign an agreement to which I made a deposit for my child's birthday party. In the package I chose, I was told that a digital invitation would be included. I submitted two pictures and was given a digital invitation within hours. I asked for a MINOR change the same day and didn't receive a response. I text the owner two weeks later for the updated invitation and was told that I had to pay an additional fee. Nowhere in the contact does it say that the digital invitation is final and that there is an additional fee for changes. The owner called me because I stated this and when I asked if there were any more surprises that I should be aware of, she cut me off. If I'm asking a question to make sure I'm not paying over $200 over asking price because of "hidden" fees, I don't expect to be cut off. The conversation ended with her telling me that my deposit will be refunded because she doesn't think my business is a good fit, which is fine because I don't want to be nickeled and dimed for party that I already budgeted for. If you use this venue, be certain that you will get the bare bones and ANYTHING else will cost extra! Edited after owner's response: 1. If it's included in the package, it is not FREE! 2. Faith-based means that you take accountability for your actions. I submitted two pictures and not once was it stated to me that I should choose a photo because once it's made it's final. If I had to pay an additional fee for revisions, that means that I approved the invitation which I did not. Furthermore, I had to reach out to you two weeks later regarding the photo because you didn't respond to me after the initial request. 3. Cutting someone off when they are speaking is aggressive and that is what you did, multiple times. Thank you for the email stating that I will receive my deposit back. I will be praying that you spell out EVERYTHING in the contact moving forward so people don't feel like you are cheating them out of money. God bless! read more

We had my stepdaughter's 9th birthday party here. It was such a great experience! The party itself was so much fun for the girls! The organization was perfect and the ladies did an amazing job making the girls feel pampered. There were so many little details that did not go unnoticed such as the party favors and the chit chat between the girls and the ladies during their manis and pedis. We choose the waffles and spa party and requested vegan options and were easily accommodated. All the guests enjoyed the experience. We are very pleased with the outcome. It was better than expected.
