At Yellow Yolk Crystal is the best!!! The food is simple and great. The service is pristine and the place is well decorated. Most of my reviews have more words, but the Yellow Yolk is simply the best and if you are in Pompano FL and want breakfast or brunch, in my opinion the Yellow Yolk should be your first choice.

This was our first visit, and overall pleased. At 9:30, it was not crowded which was surprising, but definitely welcomed. The venue has a nice variety for breakfast and lunch. The food tasted good and was served as ordered. I wish they buttered the toast, but not a deal breaker. The prices are decent, maybe a dollar or 2 more than a diner more west, which is expected. The service was good, Gabriella took care of us. Plenty of parking in the back for both The Yellow Yolk and Miraggo Italian Grill which are under the same ownership. I recommend a visit, especially if in the mood for a beach day.

This breakfast spot was amazing! The restaurant was bright and clean & we had the best waitress! She was the only one working and she did an amazing job! I ordered the Greek omelette and my guest ordered the breakfast burrito. The food came out very fast and coffee was hot and the pot stayed at your table which is really nice. Sunday morning, there wasn't many people dining here which was very odd since there so reasonably priced. We loved it!!! I will be back again to try some other breakfast items, there pancakes looked really good!

Awsome place, i found it on Yelp. We got there late so it wasn't very busy. The menu is mostly breakfast with some lunch items. My wife and daughter decided to have breakfast and me, I had lunch. My daughter had something simple, French toast. Unfortunately I didn't get to take a photo of it. It must have been really good, because she didn't even leave a crumb on the plate. Now my wife, she had avocado toast. She said she never knows what to expect when she orders it. The bread was probably the worst part of this dish, but it was perfect for this dish. It came with real sliced avocado as opposed to quacamole or avocado spread. The eggs were poached perfectly and in bowl on the side instead of on top of the toast. The tomatoes were also on the side. Yes, there was some assembly necessary. Once all parts were combined together, it made for an awesome dish. The avocado toast made what I had seem pretty boring. I had a Greek salad with grilled chicken. It had a nice variety of vegetables, that were all really fresh. I was very good too! I definitely see us going here again when we in the area.

Great breakfast spot. The service was quick and the food tasted amazing! We ate outside but inside looked spotless.

The food here was great and came quickly. Service was also great and location was good. The silverware was nice and clean as well.

As soon as you walk in, you are hit with a vibrant, beautiful place. The decorations, the wall, everything is bright and very Florida-coded. Our waitress was so kind and welcoming. The freshly squeezed orange juice is amazing! I ordered the French Toast (regular style) and they did not let down! You get 4 1/2 slices and I cleaned my plate! My mom got the strawberry French Toast and an egg. My mom said that her food was amazing as well. The egg was cooked to perfection, and the amazing French toast mix of cinnamon and butter was melt in your mouth! The French Toast was so soft you didn't even need a knife! Great place overall!

Got refused service on a sunny Sunday because I wanted to sit outside... Guy who runs this show told me that it's too cold when it's literally a nice day out! Too bad because I drove all the way here to enjoy an outdoor breakfast but whatever ...

OMG, if you're cruising down Atlantic Boulevard toward Pompano Beach and spot that bright Yellow Yolk building popping against the skyline, do yourself a favor and pull in it's the ultimate breakfast/brunch gem with killer views of the iconic drawbridge! This place is perfectly perched right by the Pompano Beach Drawbridge (that stunning sail-inspired one that opens for boats on the hour and half-hour), so you get front-row seats to the Intracoastal action while digging into some seriously delicious food. The vibe inside is super modern, airy, and clean think cute yellow yolk decor on the ceiling and big windows flooding the place with light. The menu is classic breakfast done right with fresh ingredients fluffy pancakes, perfect eggs Benedict (the salmon one is ), crispy home fries, and fresh-squeezed OJ that tastes like sunshine. Portions are generous, everything comes out hot and fast, and the staff is genuinely friendly and attentive. Pro tip: Grab a window seat to watch the bridge lift for yachts gliding by it's mesmerizing and makes your morning coffee even better. Whether you're locals or beach-bound, this spot nails the chill waterfront breakfast vibe without any fuss. Already planning my next visit!

We had a lovely lunch here. Service was friendly and we enjoyed conversing with our server. And our food came out as ordered, in a timely manner, and was quite good. They are located on the south side of Atlantic just east of the intracoastal. So be prepared to turn right away. One big advantage of this restaurant is that it has its own free parking lot right behind it. Inside the restaurant is all yellow and white and bright and airy. There are large windows on three sides. They serve breakfast all day. My husband was craving a waffle. He ordered a Belgian waffle plain without the sugar. He added butter and syrup. And said it was good. I had their chicken wrap. Our server had said she really liked this choice. I got the chicken grilled and it came with lots of avocado and lettuce and tomato. There was ample Caesar salad dressing on it, too, so it was not dry. Alongside the wrap was a large pickle slice and also some crinkle-cut fries which were cooked well done as ordered. I know these were probably commercial fries, but they were very good. My husband even stole a few off my plate. So glad we tried this restaurant. I'd like to come back to try their breakfast offerings. Prices are quite reasonable here, as well.

A decent local breakfast/brunch place. Staff were friendly and attentive and service was quick but didn't compromise quality. We started with iced coffee which was a little disappointing. It was a little watered down and didn't have any options for flavoring (albeit we were warned of this). The food itself was great. I had the chicken stuffed omelette which lived up to its name. There was a very generous amount of chicken that wasn't dry. The potatoes were well cooked and seasoned. I also stole a lot of my partner's pancakes. They were fluffy and sweet with a generous amount of bananas and chocolate chips within the pancakes as well. Be warned: the restaurant is right up against a major road that crosses water so there is a bell alarm and speaker announcements frequently regarding the bridge being raised.

Eh, just okay. I was really excited to try this place out given the location and all the upgrades happening around Pompano Beach, however, it was just a basic breakfast experience. It was kind of confusing how to get to the restaurant coming from the beach given the spot to turn left had a sign saying no left turn & no u-turn. I guess you're supposed to go past the bridge and make a u-turn further up, I don't know, I made the illegal left while the drawbridge signal was down. Other than that, parking was super easy (& free!) and the lot was huge. I really enjoyed the banana & chocolate chip waffles and the price point wasn't hiked up to "beach pricing", thankfully because it wouldn't have been worth any more than it was on the menu for. I thought it was strange that when you ask for water they give you small plastic bottles; considering it's so close to the beach you'd think they'd want to eliminate plastic waste. My boyfriend and I both ordered a side of extra crispy bacon which both were inconsistent. Mine was cooked perfectly and his was still kind of rubbery. The service was quick besides when it came time for our check which took way too long when it wasn't during a busy rush or anything. Would I go back? Maybe, just because you know what you're getting, but nothing super special.

Very nice location and the food was good too! Very nice casual breakfast spot that was great while I was visiting South Florida. The service was a bit slow the second time I came but the first time was quick especially since it was a Sunday morning.

We were in town a few weeks ago (yes, I'm negligent in my reviews - damn life getting in my way)…read morevisiting family and decided on dinner here, based on a positive experience of one of my dining partners. The location is lovely, overlooking the ocean. If it were cooler a patio spot would have definitely added to the experience. First, I need to be an old lady for two things: 1. The super tiny font on the menu. I could make out the menu item name but reading the fine print of the description was damned near impossible. While the ambiance-lighting may have contributed to the difficulty, I feel like they could have chosen a better, and bigger, font. 2. Noise level - it was awful. I will *never* understand why restaurant decorators fail to address a noise level. It was awful. We were with my elderly Aunt and WE were having difficulties, so I know she was. All three of us have been in the restaurant business and that was quite literally the first thing we commented on when we sat down. That aside our experience was terrific. The area where this is located is nice, shared parking nearby, and a number of places to walk by and look in or eat at (we did not do that ourselves). We did not make reservations and didn't have to wait too long for a table (it was summer, so I'd suggest reservations during the cooler months). Our waiter was Ariel and he was fantastic. I have a couple of food issues that helped me to make sure that I was able to work around. I ended out getting the Shrimp & Grits without the ham and it was super good. It was a little too much creole sauce for me, but still tasty. The portion was plentiful. One of my dining partners received a dish that I believe was also creole spiced and it was too spicey for her. Ariel helped her find something else to eat and took care of it immediately. Because of my delay, I totally forgot what my third dining partner ordered but she was pleased with her dish. (she was the repeat visitor, so I *know* she enjoys the place. Even though the noise level was dreadful during our entire visit, our visit was a good one. Thank you for reading my review.

It is an ocean-view king room. This means the room is on the side of the building but still had a great view of the ocean. You enter valet on the northern side of the building. The valet Matt was quick, friendly and helped with my luggage. Valet is $44 a day. There was a short line at the front desk but there were two employees working and it went quick. The $45 resort fee covers chairs and umbrellas on the beach and two complementary drinks. You can pick from a small list of drinks including beer, g&t and wine. They also offer a morning exercise routine. Monday was yoga by the pool. The room was large with a nice modern design, a small couch and side table and a nice balcony with two chairs and a table. There was a coffee maker and fridge but no microwave. We ordered room service and had breakfast out on the balcony one morning. There were games setup in one of the meeting rooms right outside the pool and free popcorn was offered daily. The pool was large with plenty of chairs but people did save seats early in the morning. I went down at 9am and there were about five seats not claimed and only around eight people at the pool. Everyone else started showing up to their saved chairs around 10am. The pool did get less crowded with fewer children as the day went on. By 3pm there were more open chairs available. The beach is right outside the gate. Along with the chairs and umbrellas there is a sand pit with toys for the kids, a tiki bar and volleyball net. The hotel is very clean with modern decor. It is in a very residential area so there aren't any shops or restaurants around to walk too. Everything is about a mile south near the pier. We had an issue with our room, and the hotel could not move us because it was full. We were told we'd get 2 chairs, access to the private beach, and 2 welcome drinks. No chairs, all 4 days we were there (party of 8). The welcome drinks were gin, non-ach or wine... Service was extremely slow, the pool was overcrowded, and the staff was so cranky/rude that everyone seemed to dislike their job. For a hotel marketed as a remodeled, luxury spa retreat, this was disappointing and not what we paid for. The icing on the cake was waiting 30m+ to valet our car due to the influx of people coming and going, oh, and having to bring our own luggage up and down due to no carts. Spoke with Ricardo about our entire stay, and he just stared at my husband, then proceeded to say, "Well, when you go to Disney on a holiday weekend, it's going to be busy." Sir... when I go to Disney, I know it's going to be crowded because it's DISNEY. You're a Marriott selling $400+ rooms a night and over-crowding your hotel, causing your guests to not enjoy the amenities you're claiming to provide, then when we say we are unhappy, you don't even bother trying to work with us; you looked annoyed. A few small tables set against the wall and a few larger tables on the outside sidewalk. Doesn't look like much thought was placed on the design here. Service: Didn't wait at all for one of those small inside tables. My server was efficient and served my tea latte exactly as requested. Little things can often make the difference between a successful dining experience and not and here were a few of the small things that were provided that make a difference. I ordered the pancakes and my server suggested a side of scrambled eggs. The food: I received two pancakes which were well done, light and fluffy and the perfect size. I also received plenty of butter (so many places don't give you enough butter) an ample amount of steamed milk for my tea (another area that always seems to be pretty hard to get right). One thing that always drives me crazy was the fact that my scrambled eggs were served in the same dish as my pancakes. I hate this as the syrup inevitably gets to the eggs. Fortunately, I had a second small dish under my tea (which is also a great thing to get, to place my tea bag). I used this dish for my eggs. Another nice convenience was the mug for my tea which had a handle that I could actually put my fingers through (another area that restaurants fail to provide). In addition, I also ordered a side of sausage which came in patties form and was pretty tasty. The Bottom Line: As always my "customer so what" would I come back? The answer, probably. Although the ambiance was substandard, the food was good the service was as well so, it more than likely would be worth another visit on my next stop in town.
