Yellow sack was worth it. I work full time, but had some house projects that needed to be done. This work required removing large amounts of dirt, rock, and cement. Since I did this by hand using a wheelbarrow having a yellow sack sit on my property available to me whenever I had time to work on the project was great since there's no limit to the amount of time you can keep it. There's no daily rental fees! The pick up was easy too. I scheduled, they showed up, and the technician took the bag away. All in all, it's a simpler than renting a truck or roll off bin. I found about this service back in 2020 during COVID when I was in middle of my home renovation. I had to find a way to dump my demo trash and I found yellow and it was pretty easy and fast to order and receive my large bags. I am glad I ordered too many that I recently had to get my last bag out of the closet to use for carpet disposal. You go online and setup a day for pick up! They pick up as soon as next day or at least my 3 experiences have been that way. The price did go up which made me not happy but I get it with the times we are in and it was still cheaper than renting a bin from the local trash company or having someone else come dispose of it. Unfortunately Yellowsack has let me down and I'm a strong repeat customer who's used them dozens of times for my construction company. We have had 2 sacks that have been scheduled for pickup for over a week and they keep pushing me out. Come to find out "their small truck is broken" and won't be fixed for weeks therefore they can't pickup!! Stephanie's solution was to refund the price of the sacks ($374). It's a "halfway there" solution and by that I mean I use them for the PICKUP of the actual sacks!! I told her to rent a truck or send guys up there to manually haul it off and she was stonewalling me at every turn. "Cool cool... so you're problem is now the customers problem to solve is that right?" "Sorry sir we don't have any other solutions unless you want to wait 2 more weeks". Left me with a bad taste in my mouth and if Stephanie is a representation of the ownership then look the heck out. I don't post but I do want people to know about them.... The first time I used the YellowSack and will continue to!! We ordered our yellow sack back in December. Project took longer than anticipated; 7 months longer to be exact. Bag was out in the rain (California had a very wet winter as you know) and the heat and was obviously ripping. I made them aware about that detail when I booked for pickup. They did not give me a hard time at all. Driver came out today and carefully removed the bag. The bag was ripping as he was lifting it up. The person lifted it enough to put a new bag under the old and was able to finish the pickup without any problems. They troubled shoot it without needing to contact us. I thought and was prepared that they were going to leave a new bag and have us move the stuff from one bag to enough but nope!! They handled it. Needed to remove very large cacti in the backyard and every service was super expensive as they are like 7-8 ft tall cactus. Decided to remove it myself but then needed a large dumpster - again very expensive and you can only rent it for a certain period. Did some research and happened upon YellowSack everything is right there on the site, how much each bag can hold, dimensions of the bag, and the cost to remove the bag depending on size bag you choose and what's in it. There is a $49 transport fee on top but still way cheaper then renting a dumpster and the website said only 1 transport fee so if you have multiple bags that seems like a steal. I did message them before ordering anything as I wanted to ensure they could pick up as the power lines are kinda low in the neighborhood and they responded within 24hrs (I messaged on a weekend) saying they could in my neighborhood and that they do accept the cacti I wanted to throw in the bag. Very prompt and professional responses. Using YellowSack was amazing got to keep the bag for however long I wanted, way cheaper then a dumpster, and fast pickup.
