I am always thinking about this place. Everything is delicious and made with care. The nigiri rivals the taste of other high end Houston sushi restaurants.

My friends and I tried this place out and we really enjoyed it! The food was fresh and delicious. I had ramen and a variety of sushi and was not disappointed. I really liked the seating area, it's a small and more intimate setting which we appreciated. You can also see the cooks making the sushi in front which was cool to see! I definitely want to go back and try more of the food they have to offer.

Wow! Best nigiri sushi in Pearland! I got two of the 9 piece nigiri set and it was amazing. If you don't like wasabi, do let them know because of the pieces have wasabi.

The service was fast and waitress was friendly and efficient. The food was good. It's great to support local small businesses.

I was craving some ramen noodles and had seen this place recommended on my Yelp homepage previously. The restaurant is a tad bit small but we were able to find seating pretty quickly. I ordered the spicy ramen and miso soup which were both very delicious and reasonably priced. Our waiter was good and checked in on us frequently and also gave us a run down of their new menu. I'd definitely return and I'd love to try the sushi as well.

First time visiting here, and we were honestly delightfully surprised by this local gem! We got a chicken teriyaki bento box, 1 piece of uni, and a black tonkatsu ramen. The chicken teriyaki was only ok, but I did enjoy the veggie tempura that came included in the bento box. The uni had a nice smoky flavor, and my husband really enjoyed his ramen. The interior is nicely decorated and service was very attentive. We'll be back!

This is the first time that I got to dine in and eat. It has a nice cozy traditional Japanese ramen store vibe and I liked the place but the only issue was the slowness of service. It may be short handed but it took forever to get our food. We ordered simple veggie rolls, sweet potato roll, cucumber salad and veggie ramen. Ramen came first after 15 mins of waiting but the sushi and cucumber salad took forever like nearly 50 mins and no orders for them so we left after having a bowl of noodles Twas a good one but I could say that they could reduce a little bit of saltiness. Definitely improve the serving speed tho. My friends were excited about veggie rolls and sweet potato rolls but never came... Anyways, slow but foods seem to be good so if anyone who has time and wanna try out then this place is for you. Cheers

The service was spectacular! This mall but mighty restaurant is worth every penny! We were greeted when we walked in by the chefs and waiters. They sat us quickly and served us water with lemon. As we browsed the menu we quickly saw favorites and new items we haven't had so we ordered the spicy tuna, California rolls as my niece loves those. We also ordered the cucumber salad which was quick easy and light for a refreshing appetizer. We then ordered the houston roll, caterpillars roll and the mango go go roll which were new for us but out of this world delicious! We wanted to order more but we were so full as lots of folks were ordering the fish bento which smelled and looked delicious. We definitely will be back.

DON'T DO IT!! Don't pass this chance up to taste some of the best sushi you have ever had. This place is absolutely amazing. Cozy and quaint. The sushi is the absolute best. Everything tastes super fresh and full of flavors. The chefs hands add that little extra that you can't explain on the menu. This is the spot for sushi in Pearland!

Parking is tight but usually plentiful on weekday afternoons. The sides are great. We always get the chicken karaage. The portion is huge. It's nice and crispy with juicy meat, absolutely delicious. The ramen is big and kind of expensive but that's about expected for Jinya. I like that they have new things on their menu like the curry rice balls and the limited demon slayer menu. I dislike making reviews like these, but I think it's good to be honest, especially for those who haven't tried it. Our service was excellent and honestly, that was the best part of the entire experience. Upon arrival we were seated promptly on a Thursday evening. Upon arrival so many people were shouting words with the staff every minute or so (words such as "arigatou" & etc...which means "thank you" in Japanese). I am all for supporting culture and saying thank you, but it doesn't need to be shouted to the rest of the restaurant, it was disruptive to our meal so much so that we wanted to leave but stuck it out to try the food. A mistake... Each of us ordered an appetizer, the Nikuman and JINYA bun. Jinya bun was pretty good but Nikuman was bland and nothing to write home about. For entrées we got the spicy chicken Ramen and the JINYA chicken ramen. We were both disappointed with the quality of chicken in the Ramen and it only had 2 slices. It honestly tasted like we were eating a piece of old deli lunch meat...after adding seasoning and additional things that were left on the table to our Ramen it really helped to enhance the broth which made it decent to eat, but the noodles were a big disappointment. I've had my fair share of Ramen at dozens of restaurants, and this is definitely ranked on the lower end of quality, taste, and just overall enjoyment. Sadly, we won't return, but I am glad that we finally tried it so now we know.

Whenever we walked in for dinner around half the tables were full of people and service was still very fast. The interior of the restaurant is nice but nothing too standout from other Chinese restaurants. We got cream cheese puffs, house spicy wide noodle soup, a chicken dish, soup dumplings, cream baos , and a fish dish, and all of it was fairly good. My least favorite was the cheese puffs, which were incredibly hot but I didn't find much very special about either the filling nor the crunchy wrapper. My next critique is their handmade noodles. It is personal preference, but I prefer my noodles to be a lot more chewy and on the more al dente side of things, rather than the more soft noodles we got (both the wide and the original noodles). As for what I liked, it was just about everything else we got. The house noodle soup was nice and comforting, not being super heavy but still carrying good flavor (I would ask for the regular version and add in spice after tasting the broth). Both the fish and chicken dishes that we got were very interesting and I especially enjoyed the lightness of the fish dish. The soup dumplings we got were very flavorful, well balanced, and had a very bouncy yet soft wrapper texture. The cream baos, though admittedly lacking some vanilla and texture consistency across each bao, were still really good and comparable to ones you'd find in Bellaire. Overall, my experience was fairly good and I would go here again if I find myself in the Pearland area.

Family owned restaurants always have a special place in my heart as my parents were one when I was growing up. The decor isn't the most aesthetic, but what made this place special are the authentic food items they have. It is a mix of Taiwanese, Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, and Korean dishes. For appetizer, I ordered the Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken. It was crispy. The flavors of the Thai basils were almost nonexistent, and the flavor was not really there, compare to other places I had. The bowl of the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup was massive. Both my palms fit on top of the bowl! It came with green onions and bok choy on top. It traditionally comes with mustard greens, but this one didn't. The flavor for this noodle soup was spectacular! It does have mild spice level. Service was lovely. Overall, I would come back here again if I ever crave authentic Asian food and don't feel like driving all the way in Bellaire. Next time I will be back to try the other cuisines that they have. Wishing them good luck and prosperity in their business!

It's Pearland so parking won't be a problem. After perusing the menu, I couldn't say no to the pizzadilla. I'll be back to that in the moment. Service (4.5/5): Pretty much what you hope for. A seamless ordering experience, the food was ready when promised, and no issues arose. One thing I like is that they go above and beyond in providing you with extra limes, and a generous heap of onions, cilantro, and veggies. Ambiance (3/5): Pretty much a standard small Mexican taco joint. Nothing to write home about. Drinks (4.5/5): I love agua frescas and they have them here with 3-4 flavors to choose from. I went with a large pepino (cucumber) agua fresca. Delicious and refreshing. Food (3/5): This is interesting. The pizzadilla sounded amazing. Think of it as a huge quesadilla of sorts, served in a pizza box You can choose your meat. Naturally, I went with the birria which is served with a generous portion of consome. All sounds good, right? Here's where things fell apart. The quesadilla had an overwhelming amount of cheese and an underwhelming amount of birria meat. This is coming from a guy who absolutely loves cheese and feels like it makes anything better. I think this is the first time in my life I'm saying otherwise. There was so much cheese that it overpowered the dish and you could barely taste the birria. Which shouldn't be the case as the meat is the star of the show. Maybe the kitchen made a mistake. Or maybe their ratio is highly off on this dish. Either way, disappointing as I thought this spot would crush it.
