Price as of May 2026

New updated price as of May 2026. Price did change but it's still worth it! Service is always great and sushi is always fresh.

Nigiri

I returned for the lunch and wow the portions for the price are great! AYCE is $16.99 (drinks and dessert aren't included). My go-tos are usually salmon and eel nigiri at AYCE but, they only had eel hand roll. The salmon was buttery, not the best I've had but definitely not the worst! Fish to rice ratio was solid in the nigiri's, hand rolls, and regular rolls! Service was fast.

They have vegan sushi! Not super elaborate but they have cucumber, avocado, sweet potato, etc. AYCE sushi, appetizers, soft drinks. Kids are half price if they're below a certain height. Not a bad spot for AYCE sushi.

We had a great experience. We went in for lunch and got seated and greeted immediately! Family friendly environment so all are welcome. Spirits available for adults. The food comes out as it ready so everything is hot and fresh. GREAT SUSHI and excellent lunch special. Hibachi is pretty standard. All you can eat for under $20 (lunch)! Hard to beat that. Full menu available as well. We would recommend and come back.

Found out about the $17 AYCE sushi so of course i had to check it out. They have several rolls options to choose from. Staffs were friendly and food was food. Definitely try them out of you are in the area.

shrimp, yellowtail, white tuna, & salmon nigiri

My favorite AYCE sushi place to go to. A lot of places like to give too much rice per nigiri to fill you up at AYCE's, but this place has the perfect rice-to-fish ratio. The fish quality has also gone up since when they first opened. Because of these two things, I regularly bring my friends here if they're craving some low-cost sushi! However, the service is pretty average. And during busy days, the cleanliness does go down a little, so I will have to take away one star. Overall, decent quality fish, and great cost!

I ordered through Yelp and it was very easy to do so. The food tasted great! The service was good except when I had to repeat my name 6 times to the same person after another teammate told the other person that my food was waiting for me on the counter. It was an awkward interaction. I will probably be back, not sure yet.

Menu has A La Carte prices but AYCE is $24 pp for dinner

Service was great, she was very attentive and friendly. Ambience is very open, spacious and cute. Food was good for price point ($24/pp dinner). Only thing I would say is the sushi rice tonight was on the "mushier" side but overall they definitely give you more fish than rice so you get your money's worth.

I took out the avocado chunks out of my rolls since it was starting to make me queasy because I am a texture person

Yall need to stop with the thick ass avocado.... IT NEEDS TO STOP Everything else was good... server was sweet....the rest of the food tasted alright... I liked having sushi with my avocado...........

Every detail was intentional, from the atmosphere to the presentation of each dish. The sushi was, without exaggeration, some of the best I've ever had. Fresh, perfectly balanced, and crafted with so much attention to flavor that every bite felt like its own experience. Even the edamame completely changed the way I think about edamame. Something so simple was transformed into something memorable. And the dessert? Absolutely spectacular. The presentation alone deserved applause, but somehow the flavor exceeded even that. It was one of those desserts you keep thinking about long after you leave. This wasn't just dinner -- it felt like an experience. Easily a 10/10, and honestly, it deserves even higher. One of those rare places that makes you excited to come back before you've even left the table. Individually rated food: * Umami - 10/10 * Shrimp Tempura - 10/10 * Fried Rice - 9/10 * Spicy Edamame - 1000/10 * Japanese Seabream (Madai?) Nigiri - 9.5/10 * Mochi (strawberry and mango) - 10/10

I came across Nishiki…read moreJapanese Restaurant and saw that they have an extremely high Yelp rating, so that was all of the motivation I needed. I've passed by Nishiki on numerous occasions so I was overdue to check it out. I stopped by on a Saturday morning with my mom for lunch. Free parking is easy in the shopping center they share with several other businesses including a bubble tea shop. Ambiance (5/5): Nishiki is an elegant restaurant without being stuffy. The decor is fresh and modern. Pretty much the perfect ambiance in my book. Service (5/5): Our waitress did a good job taking care of us. She stopped by regularly, she was efficient, and friendly. Everything you hope for in a service experience. Drinks (5/5): Nishiki has a full bar, but I opted for a Shirley Temple. No judgment lol. I used to love Shirley Temples as a kid. Not something you see on a lot of menus these days so it was a nice surprise. Food (5/5): The chef at Nishiki used to work at Nobu. No surprise as that level of excellence is seen in the food. Their sushi is hand rolled. I had the crunch roll which has tempura shrimp, crab, and avocado. I also tried a seasonal sushi item with scallops that's different from anything I've ever tried before. It was wrapped in seaweed and there is some plastic on the outside that you pull to keep your roll together. Cool concept! We also shared some gyoza and grilled edamame. Pro tip: go with the grilled edamame rather than the regular edamame. The grilled version has garlic and some other seasoning. Edamame to the next level. The food at Nishiki isn't cheap. But the quality is there. There's a reason the reviews are so good. It's now one of my favorite restaurants in town. Up there with Killen's BBQ.

The bartender was rude to myself and my daughter, but when my husband went to confront him about it he was quiet about what he did. This used to be one of our favorite lunch spots. We come twice a week! We have never had a problem there and all of the daytime staff wave at us when we enter. After the situation is "over" the server comes to the table and apologized for what we may have over heard because the bartender was still at the bar disrespecting my family. He never puts our order in and keeps going outside to vape, slamming the door constantly by our table. We wanted our daughter to enjoy her time out before school the next day so we smiled through it all, tipped 22% and left hungry. The food is quick and cheap and like I said we have never had a problem with any of the staff. We enjoy the two ladies that primarily work in the day. Today was shocking and the bartender was lucky that he had a family that was classy enough not to escalate the situation because he deserved it! We overlooked the restrooms and entry way not being the cleanest...but disrespect? Never!

Since we were in the area that day, we made a point to stop at this Wrap & Roll location to make sure it was not a fluke. And by golly, it was exactly what we hoped for! First, the portion sizes are huge as each noodle dish can feed 2-3 people. So unless you brought your appetite, you'll be needing a togo container. Main reason it's so large is because it's packed with protein. Second, the menu has a variety of items ranging from tacos/quesadillas to sandwiches, to noodles/rice, to chicken wings; so there's something for everyone here. And third, the flavors/taste of the eats. The combination fried udon is packed with shrimp/chicken/filet and all the meats are tender along with the noodles and veggies with this sweet/sour/spicy flavor that will knock out your taste buds. From what I read, all the noodle/rice dishes are similar to this. I also saw someone get the quesadilla which was huge and they immediately went silent when eating it cause they couldn't stop stuffing it in their mouth. There's no doubt I plan to return and I hope they expand closer to our neck of the woods in the Heights area. That's a wrap cause they're on a roll!

The atmosphere here is pleasant, the employees are very friendly, and the food comes out fairly quickly. This location feels comparable to the others I have visited, and overall it is a great spot for a relaxed lunch or dinner. To start, my mom, sister, and I ordered the Chicken Karaage and Takoyaki. I truly think Tamashi has some of the best takoyaki among ramen chains. They are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and topped with a generous amount of bonito flakes and mayo. The chicken karaage, on the other hand, was one of the weaker parts of the meal, though it could be improved with a few changes. The pieces of chicken were very large, which made them awkward to eat, and they were not very crispy. They also came across as dry and tough. Smaller, bite sized pieces would make this side dish much better. We also ordered Tamashi's Menn, which is hands down the best ramen bowl in the chain. While the noodles and toppings were solid, the real standout was the broth, which had an intense shrimp flavor that was incredibly comforting and warming, especially during colder Texas weather. We also tried the Hot Papa special roll, which tasted good overall but could have used an added element of crunch or contrasting texture. Overall, this Tamashi location delivers exactly what fans of the chain would expect. With friendly service, fast turnaround, and a consistently strong ramen option, it is a reliable neighborhood spot. If they improve the chicken karaage, this could easily become one of my go to casual dining choices.

I dislike making reviews like these, but I think it's good to be honest, especially for those who haven't tried it. Our service was excellent and honestly, that was the best part of the entire experience. Upon arrival we were seated promptly on a Thursday evening. Upon arrival so many people were shouting words with the staff every minute or so (words such as "arigatou" & etc...which means "thank you" in Japanese). I am all for supporting culture and saying thank you, but it doesn't need to be shouted to the rest of the restaurant, it was disruptive to our meal so much so that we wanted to leave but stuck it out to try the food. A mistake... Each of us ordered an appetizer, the Nikuman and JINYA bun. Jinya bun was pretty good but Nikuman was bland and nothing to write home about. For entrées we got the spicy chicken Ramen and the JINYA chicken ramen. We were both disappointed with the quality of chicken in the Ramen and it only had 2 slices. It honestly tasted like we were eating a piece of old deli lunch meat...after adding seasoning and additional things that were left on the table to our Ramen it really helped to enhance the broth which made it decent to eat, but the noodles were a big disappointment. I've had my fair share of Ramen at dozens of restaurants, and this is definitely ranked on the lower end of quality, taste, and just overall enjoyment. Sadly, we won't return, but I am glad that we finally tried it so now we know.

Food on the other hand, for a vegetarian- only the Karma bowl for an entree. Its like you choose your grains, ur veges, and sauce and they will put it all together over heat and give you. Mine was ok and I probably could have added a lot of veges as my bowl was only 1/2 full. It is one price for one bowl, irrespective of how much of what you add. Taste wise, it was ok as I had no idea how much of sauce would go into it or the spice level. The second order was vegetable roll. We asked for a little customized version of excluding mushrooms. They brought it with 'kanpyo' instead and forgot the carrots First of all kanpyo looks like mushroom and didn't have the faintest idea that they were very different things , secondly carrots were no where to be seen. When called to enquire, they apologized and took back the order without a minute's hesitation and made a fresh batch made with no mushroom no kanpyo and carrots included. Appreciated that very much. Food wise summery, the bowl or the roll. I definitely preferred the roll and when soaked in sriracha, it exploded in my mouth with flavors. The first one just fell into sriracha by mistake and got drenched, after I tasted that I drowned the next ones in myself......
