Me and the Mrs with THE Supreme Leader Heather
    Kurt J.

This was another fun event brought to the UV Yelp Elites by our fearless and tireless leader Heather. Fun awards night of awarding ourselves - LOL. It actually had a awards show vibe because of the DJ and Venue and all the work that went into everything. She did a great job bringing together several vendors and arranging for a beautifully decorated venue. All the little extra touches made this even feel like we are somehow special -- even though we are just a bunch of people who love food and eating and taking pictures of food to a fault. The food was great. There was some nice snacks at one table and several vendors... CREAMWORX - Yummy ice cream and cookie/brownie creations from CreamWorx in Highland. Super yummy ice cream topped with various cookies and confections. there was a chocolate, peppermint, honeycomb with Stropwaffle and creamy coconut. Great vendor who will be doing an event with us in the future. All three ice cream creation were tasty. VIBE MOCKTAILS - Great drink options from Vibe. I personally loved the Peach. My wife loved the Raspberry. Super great idea and concept. I think it is going places. LIFE OF THE PARTY by Rob Ferre - He is an excellent Emcee/DJ. The games were fun for a random group like us and he kept things moving. Not a great sound system, but it was more than adequate for this type of event. The photo booth was a nice touch. Kudos to SHAY and The VENUE. Nice place. Wonderful night with wonderful people. Thank you Heather for THE YELPIES 2023. Fun times! Very well executed. We all need to up our Yelping game to deserve something like this going forward! SYOY!!!

First of all, thank you Heather for a year of fun events and putting together this end of the year celebration. This obviously took a lot of time and effort to make happen. The venue itself was a nice space. I could see how this would work for inside or outside parties. I would suggest better lighting in the parking lot. It was dark and tough to see. Creamworx. I really enjoyed the coconut dessert. The ice cream is so creamy and the coconut bar was delicious. Utah loves these dessert places. 5/5 The Vibe Mocktails. I was excited about this as I no longer drink but love a good handcrafted drink. As a former drinker I am looking for interesting mocktails with creative uses of fruit, herbs and nonalcoholic bitters rather than juice and sparkling water. I think I would have to try their establishment and see what other drinks they offer. Based on the concept 5/5 but the peach on the beach drink was not something I would come back for. The DJ was a fun concept for this event. I am deaf and I am very aware of how sound travels in different spaces. When you have a venue such as this with high open ceilings, in order for people to hear there really needs to be a better sound system. Heather went to a lot of work to come up with her speech and awards but I could not hear her and I don't think I was alone. It was nice that the games were in kind of a closed captioning format, which does help those who are deaf or with hearing loss to be able to participate. Thanks again for all you did to put this together.

Had a lot of fun tonight, thank you SO much to Heather for coordinating and running this event. She's doing a great job helping to continually build this Yelp community in Utah County. I was both surprised and delighted with my Yelptime Achievement trophy. I think my Yelp career just peaked. I personally loved the mocktails. I don't drink alcohol, so getting a chance to have a fancy drink is always fun for me. I also thought the owner was super sweet and I loved hearing about her business. She would be great to hire for older kid's and teens birthday parties! Cream Worx, wow. Just wow. I will dream about that honeycomb ice cream until we get a chance to head over to their spot and try it again. Very, very good and unique. Great emcee/DJ and trivia game host. I've had the pleasure of experiencing his DJ skills at prior events in SL County and will forever think of him as Marty McFly (a costume he wore one year for a Halloween event, haha) and I'd actually forgotten that his name is actually Rob. At any rate, the game was fun and kept the night flowing. And big thanks to Shay for the venue! We were treated to a tour of the rest of the facility at the end of the night. It's gorgeous! Upstairs are bride and groom rooms, a hangout room with a tv and ping pong table, and a gorgeous new gym is around the corner from the event venue downstairs. Overall a great evening! I hope to attend more events in the future.

Overall a pretty good event. The MC guy was a bit annoying and unfunny. Cream Worx ice cream was the star of the show. With 3 delicious flavors to choose from: Creamy Coconut, Chocolate Peppermint and Honeycomb. My wife and I each got the first and both were super scrumptious and refreshing. Highly recommend that place. Vibe Mocktails was tasty but not like amazing or anything. I had the grapefruit drink. The giveaways were good.

The Yelpies have been amazing tonight!! Thank you Heather for always throwing a great time! It's so fun to see everyone that I read the reviews of all the time. Thank you Yelpers!!! Rob was hilarious and such a great Emcee! Vibe Cocktails was great and fun! I'd love to have them come to an event! Creamworx was delicious! I loved the Chocolate Peppermint and the Toasted Coconut!!! I'd definitely have this again!

A beautiful venue with warm and lovely people. The moctails provided by the vibe and the ice cream for Cream Works were both amazing! The vibe drinks were peach on the beach, raspberry rosé, or no Paloma. Cream worx had three delish options : chocolate, peppermint, honeycomb and creamy coconut. Thanks to our fearless leader Heather for putting this together and for Shay for arranging the venue! Funny, interactive, electronic games, and a fun host help facilitate smooth and interesting interactions...thanks Life of the Party! Such a great night connecting with yelp colleagues !

This was such a fun event! The ice cream was delicious, the drinks where refreshing and the DJ was fun, entertaining, and funny. I love the trivia, but some of those candy cane flavors sounded so gross! Lol The space was pretty cool as well but I only saw the main room where the event took place. It was also cool to see who accomplished what during the year and got some trophies for it! I was actually surprised at the friendliness of some of the fellow yelpies! My only question is, does the little record have anything on it? If so I'm going to have to borrow a record player lol

My first Yelp Elite event and it was so much fun! Heather did amazing putting it all together. Loved the vendors and the new venue was beautiful! I am sure in the summer time the venue is even better. Can't wait to go try the actual businesses. I've always heard of the Vibe Mocktails and so happy I got to try a glimpse of it. It was so good! The DJ was one of the best! I loved the trivia game. Good job Heather!!! It was such a great way to kick off the holiday season!

So much fun. It's been busy holidays so I'm a little late but I loved meeting all the yelp elite family and enjoying some fun games and local offerings. The vibe was the highlight for me.

This was my first time at the Yelpies and it was a blast! Due to GPS difficulties I was about 15 minutes late, but I made it and had a great time meeting some of the awesome Elite Yelpers! The venue was great and I was so surprised to hear that we were just the second event to be hosted there prior to the grand opening. It was also fun seeing Shay again and hearing that she manages the clubhouse. I'm sure during the day it's even more impressive with its windows and doors that open overlooking the golf course in Eagle Mountain. The yelp decor was fun and we even had our very own "red carpet". The sampling of sandwiches were gone when I arrived to the table at 6:48, so that was a bummer but I was pleased and excited that I was able to try a sampling from each of the vendors at the event... The drinks by Vibe mocktails were delish and the owner was sweet and fast! There were 3 drinks to choose from: Peach on the beach, Raspberry Rose', and No Paloma. I had the No Paloma which was a grapefruit flavored mocktail and it was delicious and looked impressive. If I'm ever down near their location in Provo I'd love to experience some more mixology magic! The blissful and scrumptious dessert from Cream Worx family owned and operated in Highland was a fun surprise. I've passed it several times now mentioning to my family that we need to try it. It did not disappoint. The people were all so helpful and nice, especially since I have a tree nut allergy. There were 3 options to choose from: Chocolate Peppermint, Honey Comb and Creamy Coconut. Checking with them to ensure none of the ice creams had nuts, I selected the Creamy Coconut. It was a masterpiece to behold. Upon inspection I realized the amazing looking cookie bar appeared to have tree nuts so I went back to check with the business. The owners checked and realized the cookie bar had pecans. They were awesome and remade my sundae subbing out the cookie bar for a chocolate cookie. The ice cream was creamy and seriously delicious. I'll be taking my family to highland to get Cream Worx soon. The awards were great to witness and it was fun getting my accomplishment certificates. I won a glass cup in the raffle which was a surprise. Thanks Heather for the fun evening! I look forward to attending next year's Yelpies event!

I was my wife's plus one for the 2023 YELPIES, so I'm not even sure if I'm supposed to be reviewing this event. :) But as a new Yelper, I got a chance to meet my area CM. After witnessing the kind of fun events my wife has attending to in the 2 yrs she's been an Elite, now I am hoping to become an Elite also soon! It's been so nice e that they allowed a "plus one" at some of them, like this night. I must admit that I was surprised because --there's even an "awards ceremony " at the end of the year for all your Yelping efforts!Heather put together this wonderful evening, looks like a lot of us made it a little date night too! This was held at the brand new clubhouse for the golf course. We actually live a few neighborhoods away. But since neither of us golf-- this was a great chance to check out this business in our city! Now that we went at night, I'd love to check it out in the daylight to see the outside better. The inside was really nice. We were told that the grand opening didn't even happen yet but I believe was today (12/9/23). It probably has an awesome view of the golf course! During the event, 2 local businesses were there to promote themselves and let us sample some treats-- one was "mocktails" (Vibe Virgin Bar) and one was mini sundaes (Cream Worx). Both were very good. I really enjoyed my drink (Peach on the Beach) and my Sundae (Creamy Coconut). My wife loved her choices as well! It was a nice touch to have a DJ and impressed that little Yelpie Trophies were given out to some of the Standout Yelp Elites this year! Nice to have been included in this night-- thank you Heather for putting this all together!

Awesome Job Heather! This is my 2nd attendance to the YELPIES! It was a great lil date night with the hubby. First off the location was beautiful! Brand new and we were only the 2nd event there before the official Grand Opening! Really big windows so you know that in the daylight the view of the golf course would be awesome! Thanks for the hookup Shay!AND ... I was super excited that the event was actually IN MY CITY! So our commute to the event was about 8mins! We snacked on a deli slider and chips (thanks Heather!) We enjoyed the drinks by The Vibe Virgin Bar and WOWED by the Cream Worx desserts. thank you to these two local businesses for helping make this event wonderful! They definitely made a wonderful impression on us! The woman at the Vibe "bar" was not only super friendly but she was fast! Mixing up those drinks with no help! The family at Cream Worx were a delight! They gladly let us sample the ice cream before making the decision from 3 mini sundaes the had that evening. And that decision was HARD because they all tasted so good and as we saw people pass by with their sundaes, I gawked at how yummy they all looked! I spoke with one of the owners and she told me their baked goods that go with/along side their Sundaes were all homemade that same day! It was such a fun evening out-- DJ was funny, the games he had us playing were entertaining. It was so nice of Yelp to recognize the best of the best Yelpers around!

Our table of 3 opted for a few shareable and soup and it did not disappoint. We left full and packed leftovers ! BlackBerry mocktail was refreshing and a great option Cauliflower app (5/5) a huge portion, great crunch and perfect cauliflower to batter ratio. It was decently spicy without being overpowering and a fantastic very shareable option. We had 3 adults and still had about half left. Ginger carrot soup (4/5) was yummy but leaned a bit more pumpkin vine than carrot. Gnocchi starter (3/5) great consistency, but a bit too oily at least mine was and there wasn't much taste unless you snagged a bit of the meat with it Chicken lollipops (5/5) great taste and anther substantial share option.
