OMG. Stopped here for the first time based on other reviews. Its legit. The lamb literally falls of the bone. Texture of the rice was perfect. The flavors are so well balanced, yet its a flavor explosion. The soup that is served with meals is amazing (and I'm not a soup guy). I will be back. Next with my wife and then work colleagues.

Lamb Fahsa - $54.99 with the Tray for 2

My brother and I stopped in for dinner on a weekday. We ordered the Tray for 2 and my brother ordered a Yemeni Tea. The Tray for 2 comes with one order of Lamb Fahsa, Lamb Haneeth, and Chicken Haneeth. My brother received a piping cup of sweet, spiced tea. It was delicious and perfect for the weather! The Lamb Fahsa came out first, steaming and bubbling in a clay pot, with Tandoor bread. A huge platter of rice, chicken, lamb, and potatoes, topped with cilantro and red onion came out next. We couldn't believe how huge the portion was! We still had at least three servings of food left to take home by the time we were full. Despite how full we were, we were curious to order a dessert. We went with the Malaki, which was warm, not too sweet, and amazing! We'd never had a dessert like that before. The dessert could've easily served four people, so we had leftovers of that as well. The restaurant was clean and inviting, and the service was prompt and friendly. We loved it and can't wait to go back!

This has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Its a bit further out from city center (like 15 minutes) and in a seemingly less populated area but its definitely worth the drive. The restaurant is nicely decorated and feels very homey but spacious. Service has always been super nice and patient. They also serve a free lamb broth as an appetizer which is always delicious. I gravitate towards the lamb hummus and the lamb fahsa. The hummus is extremely smooth and creamy with tender chunks of flavorful lamb. The fahsa is also very flavorful and comes boiling in a stone pot. Both go so well with the bread provided and it makes for such a delicious meal all around.

The name will bore you to tears, but that's the only thing iffy about this restaurant. Inside, I was the only non-Arab eating dinner. No matter -- I was treated like a dear guest. You'll be served a little soup to start as soon as you're seated. Our waiter was happy to give us recommendations from the menu. We did the lamb hummus and the chicken zorbian and made sure to save room for dessert. More to come on that later! We didn't want hummus at first since it's easy to make at home, but the waiter recommended the lamb one and it didn't disappoint. The hummus is creamy and perfect, but the lamb steals the show. Well-seasoned, moist, and begging to be wrapped up by your fresh bread. Chicken zorbian reminded me a lot of Indian biryani, but not quite as dry. Quite good! And yet it's dessert that stole the show. Massoob! MASSOOB! Stunning. One of those dishes that makes me want to go home and cook it myself. "Whole wheat bread, honey, mashed bananas, cream" -- basically how they have it on the menu. No. Fire your writer. Cross that out. "Dessert delivered directly from heaven" -- that's what it needs to say. I'm not a sweets guy; I rarely order dessert. I couldn't stop thinking about the massoob for a few days. It's a delicious blend of cream and honey. I will come back and get it. I will also make it at home. It's that good.

Lamb, lemon mint drink, fresh hummus, and fresh bread Yum!

Delicious! Lamb bone broth, hummus, fresh bread! Lemon mint drink, and Lamb! What more could you want??

Lamb hummus

The lamb hummus is a must. So much flavor and hummus has a perfectly smooth texture. One of my favorite dishes was the lamb fahsah. It came out bubbling hot, lamb was so tender and delicious. The portions of all our entrees were very generous and could be shared easily. I was pleased with how clean the restaurant was and the service and kindness of the staff was some of the best we've ever had. Can't wait to return.

Never had Yameni food. What a delightful surprise. Had the tandoori style chicken and it was well cooked, moist and flavorful. My partner had a lamb dish that was as delicious as the chicken dish. The service was great and we were told of other things to try. Highly recommend.

Entrees and tea

My father took my wife and I here after a day at the Columbus Zoo and we were very impressed. The area is full of ethnic restaurants and markets and this is a great choice. We had the lamb with hummus as an appetizer and 3 different lamb dishes for our entrees. My wife and I shared two different types of teas which we loved and one of them reminded me of the Bedouin tea I had in Israel. The place is halal and does not serve alcohol but they have a great mango and lemon lime drink that we enjoyed towards the end of our meal. They also gave us complimentary Marag Soup to start which was delicious. Our server was very friendly and the seating was cozy.

Went there for lunch, the service is a little slow, but food is very good, it will be better if they have more vegetables.

So it only seemed natural that I'd fall in love with Food Street, but I was worried that my expectations would exceed the reality. So instead of going in... I decided to order delivery through good ole Door Dash - expecting a sad, slightly cold, non crispy shadow what you'd get in person but let me tell yas.... this was not the case at all! Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich was phenomenal! It was wicked crispy, the size of my head (quick makes this a HUGE value... not that my head is that big, but order it to get an idea), bun was not soggy at all, and it did not disappoint. Chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy, not chewy at all, and seasoned well. Coleslaw added a nice vinegar contrast (I wish there was much more coleslaw but it didn't stop me!), sauce was smokey and slightly spicy, and the bun was soft. Chicken Tikka Paratha Roll was also a hit! Great seasoning, chicken was incredibly well cooked - melt in your mouth style - with small bits of char - vegetables were fresh, and the roll itself had great chew and flavor w/out being greasy (at all) or saturated. Fries were bangers too. Ready to eat my way through the menu. If it's this good when ordered, can't image what'd it be in house.

We went to the counter to place or order, we ordered, faluda, garlic chicken wrap, Malia boti wrap gappa chaat and mango lassi. Everything except for the faluda tasted just ok. Nothing for me to go back and try it again. Now let's go back to the faluda. They forgot to give us the faluda. We had to ask 3 times and almost 2 hours later, they finally brought it out. And it tasted nothing like any form of faluda. It was vanilla ice cream with crushed pistachio. No apologies or explanation for the wait. With so many great places to have Indian/desi street food, this is not one of them.

I asked her where I go could get good Palestinian food and she suggested trying Lavash. I was expecting a small family restaurant, but Lavash is a large restaurant that apparently does a lot of catering also. My wife and I love Middle Eastern food and I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. The Friday Special, Lamb Mencef was delicious and could easily feed a family of four, with several sides also. Basically it is large pieces of Lamb and lots of yellow rice, and a wonderful sauce, so you need to order (or make) side dishes too. We both are in our late 70's and no longer have large appetites, so this dish lasted through several meals. We both are from the Midwest and lamb is rarely on menus here in America, and the lamb on this dish is about as good as it gets. Very mild and not dried out. Thanks for the recommendation, Summer!

It does seem like most people are ordering the drinks or togo. They have this fermented chai which I did not try but the sweet chai was great. Ordering was quick at the register and they were able to seat us inside. The food also came out relatively fast. Please note on Saturdays during the summer. The farmers market is going on from 8am to 12pm and it is very busy in the area. Parking is going to be 3-4 blocks away. The restaurant is also located in what I would call the downtown shopping market area of Worthington so it is already pretty bustling! The food was delicious and innovative. The tacos had a great crisp, and the cheese was super flavorful. They is also was a sweetness in the meat. The breakfast sandwich had very soft texture and some sweetness. You can also get the Bobby version that does have some spice. Overall, the eggs in the sandwich are cooked perfectly so soft the bacon adds nice fatty crunch.
