This is another new gem in the Worthington area. The small and cozy restaurant serves up delicious Persian food. On my trip there, our friendly server made some great recommendations, and I ended up ordering the half chicken kabob and half ground beef kabob over rice. Both the kabobs were very flavorful. I also ordered the appetizer sampler, and the hummus and lentil soup were both top notch. The star of the meal for me was the freshly baked bread - it really elevated all the other appetizers. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly - I will definitely be back to try their other menu items.

Food was delicious! Tons of flavor, and decent prices. Between $10-$40 depending on what you order. Family owned, and they were diligent with answering our questions and getting our food out. Restaurant was a little warm, but nicely decorated.

Great food, better service! Family owned and after a second visit in three days, already feeling like family. Everything is so good and I am not an adventurous eater. The staff family makes eye contact and checks in each step of the process answering my dumb questions along the way. I'm excited that they are excited to share their culture through food. Main ingredient is love!

The restaurant is located inside the Double Happiness bar, which features Asian decor and a full bar menu. Arezu offers an entirely vegetarian menu, which is surprising considering how meat-heavy Persian cuisine is. We started with the soup of the day, a heavenly blend of mint and herbs that was a perfect appetizer on a cold winter day. We had the kabob koobideh, which consisted of a serving of impossible meat with saffron rice and a cucumber salad. It was lovely and authentic! Service was fast and friendly from the family-owned Arezu team. I highly recommend trying them out!

Trust me, Arezu is better than all of them! My group of 7 walked in on a Saturday night. As soon as our server, Amir, greeted us and seated us, I knew I was gonna love the place. The decor is--hmm--Persian eclectic shabby chic, I guess? Whatever it's called, it works! And Amir was adorable! Super friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and HILARIOUS! I would have listed this as one of my all-time favorite places to eat even if the food had sucked--and trust me, it didn't! I I had the Gormeh Sabzi, a 5000 year old recipe consisting of fried herbs and kidney beans served over saffron rice. Absolutely delicious! I paired it with a Buddha Beer, recommended by Amir, which not only was smooth and tasty but also came in a gorgeous green bottle sculpted in the shape of Buddha. (I am now using it as a flower vase.) Most of the people in my party aren't vegan. Yet they enjoyed the food as much as I did. One of them, who ordered the kabobs, said he he never would have guessed they were made with plant-based meat. Give this place a try. You'll be happy you did!

He insisted that we should wait in the car and he brought out the food when it was ready. The falafel side we ordered was very good. I couldn't tell if they made them fresh there or they were store bought. The gyro was a disappointment as the meat lacked the typical authentic flavor. The sauce was way too thick. They excel in the chicken wings. I highly recommend getting the chicken wings which were seasoned with very good spice. I didn't even know that fried chicken wings are part of their cuisine. The baklava was okay. I actually find it not sweet enough. I can't believe I said that because most time this dessert is too sweet. The portion size is very good for $3. Yes, they raised the price on their menu items too but the menu on the truck doesn't reflect the new pricing. This seems to be a thing here in Columbus.

Had to try out the top-rated middle-eastern food truck in Columbus. We ordered several gyros sandwiches (a deal at $6/each), wing meal combo, and a side of falafels. Surprisingly, the poorest part of the order were the gyro sandwiches. Size was good but the gyro meat could have used more searing, plus the yogurt sauce was actually too thick and copious. The wings and falafels were the stars, both appropriately moist and crispy. Sauces for both were tasty too. 4 folks could eat well for under $40. And the guy manning the truck and cooking was very nice. This place is definitely worth the trip and $$s.

I typically opt for the grilled lamb chops (generous portion) or the lamb kebab. I don't even remember waiting for the table, just sitting down and tearing into pita bread. The hummus has character, the tzatziki? Finally! Enough dill! Remember that real Mediterranean olives have pits - this is important for dental work! The shawarma and gyros graced our table, and we're a memory before too long.
