This was by far the most disappointing Chinese food I've ever had. The wontons were literally just cream cheese, no onion no nothing just cream cheese. My orange chicken was BLACK. And my fried rice was also black so basically nothing but a lot of soy sauce. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Will never eat here again read more

Anywho, we ordered sweet and sour chicken with fried rice, steamed dumplings and shrimp lo-mein. The sweet and sour chicken was enough for 2 days and the kids loved it. Dumplings were good as well. The shrimp lo-mein was good as well, wish it had more shrimp though. Came with soy sauce, duck sauce, plastic ware and fortune cookies. Paid about $23 including delivery fee. read more

We dined in and ordered the chicken and broccoli with steamed rice and chicken chow mein... both came with egg drop soup, which was perfect for us as we prefer a somewhat less thickened egg drop soup. have been craving Chinese food so I thought is give them another try after a long hiatus. wish I had remembered how mediocre it was. big disappointment tonight. steamed dumplings were stuck together and tore with separation. fried rice was dry and tasteless. beef and snow peas had only small shreds of beef but snow peas were cooked well. sadly, no flavor there either. hope not to make this mistake again read more

This place is okay if you're on a low budget. The reason I took a star away from my previous review was because the Beef Flat Noodles I'd ordered had a musty smell. The smell of old clothes to be exact. And the fried dumplings I'd ordered was very soggy. Again, the beef flat noodles are cooked the way I like (not extremely greasy compare to other restaurants). However, it lacks seasoning and flavor. A bit of salt or soy sauce will make this dish a bit better. Although the fried dumplings were soggy, the fried flavor and pork was good. Everything here is great, but ESPECIALLY the sesame chicken. It's definitely our favorite Chinese place and we love the no contact pickup!

My issue is not so much with the food which was bland and I should have known better for going back to this place. I didn't enjoy the good last time, but opted to give them another chance. Unfortunately the issue I had last night was that the cook, lady preparing food, and another employee were visibly not wearing face mask and didn't not even seen bothered they were seen without them. We are currently in a pandemic and expect businesses to do everything in their power to keep their customers safe. In good conscious I could not feed that food to my family. I was so diss appointed not only at myself for not speaking up as I picked up my food but also at the business. read more

I ordered delivery for the first time and it came even earlier than expected! I ordered the orange chicken with hot and sour soup, and beef flat noodles with steamed rice. Everything was packages neatly with no spills. The orange chicken bore a very sweet hint of actual orange fruit and was very savory. The beef was very juicy and tender, and I'm very pleased. We were all so happy with the results - the steamed and fried dumplings were delicious! They were fresh and tasty! The fried rice was hit along with the chicken and veggies! At 7:30 I checked my delivery status and it was still pending. I called DoorDash support, and they contacted the restaurant. The restaurant said my order was on it's way. YEN's is back! Their food quality and their service is fantastic! I have ordered and ordered and ordered several times this year because they have been consistent and friendly and the Chinese flavors are just so GOOD! The choices are many and the presentation for take home is perfect! I love the broccoli chicken and I asked them to add cashews and make it spicy, and it's always correct every time. The egg rolls, spring rolls, soups and other dinner choices are delicious and plentiful! The menu is lengthy like most Chinese restaurants, and I will have to try more of the selections. I have also noticed their very cozy dine in area is always full and patrons actually eating in. Before the new owners and young servers arrived to save YEN's, rarely did anyone stay and eat in.... thanks new YEN's you make our neighborhood great, and delicious! read more

I've always ordered delivery which is top notch. Today I dined in and it was an even better experience. Our server was so sweet and funny and even spoke Spanish! The food was hot and delicious with prices that could not be beat. We ordered the dumplings (fried) and that sauce is so tangy and wonderful. We went around lunch time and even though they were busy, our server was giving us refills and checking on us consistently. This is one of the best Chinese delivery places in the Garland/Sachse/Wylie area. Their food is always delicious, hot, and exactly what you ordered, and the price is awesome for how much food you get.
