My coworker was supposed to be eating her lentil soup for lunch but we started talking about food and she suggested we come here. We decided to try the pulpo anticuchero (octopus) as our starter. Holy moly it looked so amazing we didn't want to cut into it but that anticucho sauce was so full of garlic flavors we demolished it along with the potatoes and tomatoes. Listen that sauce was so tempting that we risked cyclospora disease by eating the lettuce. The soup of the day was minestrone which I'm not a fan of but it was a flavorful pesto base so I enjoyed. For my entree I got the pollo la pobre. The grilled chicken breast is always juicy and comes with a fried egg on top if you're looking to up your protein and a ton of rice that I usually cannot finish. I mainly just stuck with the fries on this one. I was so full I could barely eat the sweet plantains. The huancaina sauce (creamy mild spicy cheese sauce) goes so well with everything you will want to keep stuffing your face. Never a bad bite and the staff are always pleasant. I came here for dinner after a show at the playhouse on a Saturday afternoon. It was easy to get seated. The food was pretty good! We got steak and short rib dishes and the meat was great. The included sides were also very good and the portions were pretty generous. For desert, we got the passion fruit cheesecake. It was very good, especially the crust. We had a very good experience here. We came for a Saturday lunch. They do offer lunch specials Monday - Friday, so we ordered off their regular menu. I got their shrimp ceviche. It was a large bowl with slivers of red onion, those large corn kernels, and a chunk of sweet potato. There were a lot of shrimp. And the "marinade" was delicious, too. My husband wasn't that hungry and asked about getting their baby churrasco steak. And they said, yes. The small skirt steak was perfectly cooked medium and nicely seasoned. It came with thin crispy French fries on the side. He enjoyed a glass of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc -- a healthy pour at a very reasonable price. What an incredible find! Victoria's is the real deal when it comes to authentic Peruvian cuisine. We came for a Friday lunch and were seated quickly -- no wait at all. The restaurant faces the main street so it's easy to spot. Parking takes a couple of minutes to find as it's not right in front, but once you locate it, it's free street parking so no complaints there. The vibe inside is just right -- great music and a perfectly comfortable temperature, making it a really pleasant place to settle in and enjoy a long meal. The food was absolutely outstanding. The grilled octopus was a showstopper -- beautifully charred tentacles served on top of fresh greens with a delicious dressing and potatoes. Such a stunning presentation and the flavors matched. The yucca huancaina was creamy and rich, a great complement. For mains, the lomo saltado was packed with flavor, and the tallarines huancaina was a standout -- that huancaina sauce is dangerously good. We finished with the suspiro limeño for dessert, a classic Peruvian sweet that was the perfect ending to the meal. Waited almost an hour if not more for our meal, told it's because it was a platter with varying temperatures? Server did not follow up past water prior to taking our order. The place was not busy, half empty. Tables nearby getting their meals and drinks, the manager offers a "discount $7" and we get our meal 5 minutes later, then I order a drink from Manager directly, never got it, didn't care to make it right. This place was packed at 7:00 pm Saturday night and stayed packed. When other Lake Avenue restaurants were half full. First, you truly feel like you are in South America with a laid-back, no hurry, ambience. If you are coming here expecting to get great fast service go somewhere else. We were standing at the hostess station 15 minutes before somebody actually came and asked if we wanted to be seated. Our waiter was harassed, but did his best. We barely saw him during our meal. But I did not take a star off because again, this is a Spanish place run by and for the Hispanic community. You truly feel like you are in Peru or some Spanish town where to spend hours eating is the norm. Our party of four were the only non-Hispanics in the restaurant. Which is a shame because the food is very tasty. Huge portions. And extremely reasonable prices for everything. Two of us had a cocktail - the Inca Pisco. They do not shirk on the liquor and I only needed one to be very very drunk!! We started with the ceviche and fried yucca with special Peruvian sauce (huancaina). I'm not a big fan of raw fish whether it's sushi or ceviche, but Victoria's does an amazing job and you can really taste the different flavors of the lime and the cilantro. For $10 we got a huge glass packed full of the ceviche. It easily fed four of us. One suggestion I would make to the restaurant is to maybe give crackers with the ceviche The fried yucca with the special sauce was also very tasty. You have a choice of fried yucca or boiled potatoes. This is a very traditional Peruvian dish using the special Aji Amarillo pepper. I had the lamb stew, my husband had the traditional dish of Lomo Saltado, one of our party the seafood soup and another had the quinoa seafood. The Loma Salado was a big hit with my husband. This is a stirfry with the Chinese influence on Peru, but not a Chinese stirfry but with Peruvian spices. He loved it. My Lamb Stew was very aromatic and tasty although it was not really a stew, but a lamb shank. The shank was not fall off the bone, but still good. Another hour slow cooking would have made it perfect. The seafood soup had so many chunks of seafood in it that it was mostly seafood with some soup on top. Our party that got this entrée was so amazed that they could put so much seafood and shellfish in the soup. He could only eat half of it. The party that had the quinoa seafood dish raved about it as well. None of us could finish our meals because they just give so much food here. And the prices are extremely reasonable. This restaurant is obviously feeding Hispanic people that don't have tons of money to waste on restaurants that give you microscopic portions and charge you an obscene amount of money. This place was full of happy families enjoying a dinner out. Many of them were celebrating Mother's Day early. This restaurant is a gem in downtown Lake Worth. Having lived here for the last 35 years I cannot believe we never ate here until last night. But we shall return. Probably many times. read more

I was really excited to try the Taco Taco Lomo Saltado, but unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. The tacu tacu itself had a texture I wasn't expecting--the exterior was a bit fried, but the interior felt mushy and lacked the pleasant, soft-but-structured consistency I've had in authentic Peruvian tacu tacu. The rice tasted off, and the overall flavor didn't feel traditional. The worst part, though, was the lomo saltado. It had a slimy, creamy texture, almost like a Chinese dim sum dish with green onions, rather than the stir-fried, savory, high-heat flavor of classic Peruvian lomo saltado. I've had this dish many times before, and this was the first time I ever experienced it this way. The service was also frustrating. I called 15 minutes ahead to have my order ready quickly, as I was in a hurry. I was told it would be ready in 10 minutes, but it ended up taking another 20 minutes once I arrived. When I mentioned my call, the staff seemed confused, which made the delay even more disappointing. The restaurant itself is very nice, and I would love to enjoy a proper meal here, but unfortunately, the Taco Taco Lomo Saltado--the only dish I tried--was probably the worst version I've ever had in my life. read more

The food tasted really good but I do have some constructive feedback for the ambiance of the place. The inside looks outdated and the decor gives the place no personality or brand at all. Ended up eating outside because the place smells so weird, like it's old, like that old couch smell... not the best for a restaurant. The tuna tartare looked so beautiful but i'm not sure if i love the sweet sauce that's mixed with it, maybe it'd be better on the side. Food: Delicious and hot. Best was the calamari, least favorite was the leche de Tigre. Decently portioned and prices are good. Ambiance: Clean. They had a nice bar, outside seating, interior was nice. Service: In the beginning it was good. The waiters were attentive but over time they got busy and were a bit unorganized. It didn't look like certain servers had certain sections. It was just whoever went by, took drink orders or food orders and whoever was able to bring the food or just whoever was available. We waited forever for someone to bring us boxes to wrap up our food. We asked three different servers for boxes, each one said okay no problem and then we just watched them go ahead and do something else. Other tables got attended to and we just waited. No one bothered to refill our waters and they were sitting empty almost the entire meal until we had to ask them to refill it. I noticed them glancing over to us but they never came. There were three "servers" running the floor, there were maybe 10 tables. 90% of them were couples. I didn't see any big parties when it got busy. Maybe one table that was a 4 top sitting next to us and they got their boxes before we did and we were still waiting for a while then. I don't get why we waited for so long for small things. I also think the bartender might have been a server or helping out but it still doesn't excuse the wait because the bar was empty. I think I saw one couple and then they walked out. I feel like Thursday is close to the weekend, you should have more staff. Maybe one more server? Restaurants can get busier the closer it is to Friday and Saturday. I went to the restaurant on October 18, 2025. I ordered two appetizers for a total of $20, which with the tip came to $24.95. To my surprise, a week later I saw on my bank statement that $36 had been charged, not $24.95. I called the restaurant and, as usual, the manager was unavailable. I just came back from New York last week and I landed at the west palm beach airport. We were looking for a place to eat around the area and as always, we were craving Peruvian. We looked through the maps and realized this restaurant had really good reviews so we decided to give it a try. We got a table and were offered water right away. Our server was really, really nice. We started with a Chilcano and a Pisco Sour and both were amazing! And they were nice in the amount of alcohol per drink! We started with some Fried Yucas with Huancaina sauce. I really liked that they use actual yuccas as they are, instead of some other restaurants that they create kind of a pure to shape it and fry it. Here it was if I just made my own yuccas at home and I really like that. The huancaina sauce was delicious! Really really look!!! Then for the entrees, we got the Seco con Frijoles, and it was great! The rice was cooked to its best, the beans were delicious, the meat was soft and the onions were the cherry on that dish. I had the Fideos Saltados which is like Asian noodles and it was so delicious! Really good dish sizes! Also, for dessert, we got the chocolate cake and it was so moist, perfect way to end up our first time here and for sure we will drive all the way to Lake Worth again to try more items on their menu! read more

Decent Peruvian food. We visited Victoria's Pisco Lounge on a Wednesday night, and there was plenty of seating. We sat outside along the street, and there was not so much traffic that it was unpleasant. We ordered the ceviche carretillero as a starter, and I ordered the picante de mariscos with plantains and sweet potatoes for myself. The ceviche had a lovely citrus flavor and the fish was clearly fresh. The calamari that was presented with the ceviche was about as good as it gets. The picante de mariscos was entirely bland, and all of the fish in the dish was undercooked and chewy. However, the plantains were wonderful, and the sweet potatoes were spot on. Overall, there were a number of dishes that I wanted to try, so I would be happy to return to Victoria's Pisco Lounge. I would not order the picante de mariscos again though. read more
