I arrived in a quiet run down Plaza. Very few stores & this place was a small drab mom & pop shop. It was a little early for lunch so I was the only one there & 10 minutes later I received my food. The vermicelli noodles were dry and clumpy and the chicken was bland & dry. Thank god for the fish sauce. Not sure whats going on with the cook but this was the worst Vietnamese meal I've ever had. Maybe that's why the place was dead & they've been open since 10am. I checked on Yelp because the reviews are so amazing I decided to try the food. The older man & woman owners were a little rude, kept staring at me like they didn't want me to be there, not sure if Its because of my dark skin but it made me feel uncomfortable & unwelcome. Very delicious and fresh. The staff are super friendly and the restaurant is very clean. They have a really refreshing aesthetic inside and it is worth going in for sure. The food is very authentic and the menu is informative and helpful for making choices even if you have never had Vietnamese food before! I love the noodle dishes and of course Pho it's absolutely delicious! The Thai green style tea is delicious and I am looking forward to trying so much more from here! They have a lot to choose from and the prices are moderate for what you get. Ordering is easy and they have delivery and take out available. There is outside seating, no view, but it does exist. We live near Yen's kitchen and the owner was nice enough to reach out the neighborhood app and tell the surrounding areas about his new restaurant. I am a lover of pho and couldn't wait to try the kitchen. I have been to a few Vietnamese places and so happy I have one close to home now. My husband and I both ordered the same thing. Create your own Pho, with brisket and an egg. We also got an order of pork and veggie egg rolls (Sorry, no pics. We ate them too fast. Delish!) Now when it comes to a good Pho it's all about the broth, and this was a GREAT broth. There is a spicy sauce they give in the box you can add to the broth after mixing everything but it honestly isn't needed. After eating if you have room for something special I do love the iced coffee. It's nice and strong without being sweet. It is the perfect coffee. read more

I just paid $13.00 for a bowlamen noodles and a few slivers of chicken. We ordered beef broth with chicken as my protein It came with some edible flowers I'm presuming, bean sprouts, and cilantro. The little container of brown sauce was extremely hot, hot sauce. The person taking my order was NOT Vietnamese and there was a problem for her to understand my English. Checked Yelp and saw a new Vietnamese place near my job. Stopped in during lunch and had some great Pho, employees were really nice and attentive. I love Banh Xeo so I ordered that along with a bowl of Pho. They also had the option of home made noodle, I opted for their regular noodles. I might try the home made ones next time. I also got their Holiday special drink Berry Limeade, really refreshing. I am a Phō-natic and was very pleased to find this spot. Quaint space with about 8 tables with additional outdoor seating. Staff was very friendly and helped when placing my order. I ordered the Shrimp Phó and a pork egg roll. The egg roll was perfectly crispy and flavorful. Not greasy at all. Now to the star of the show....the Phó! It was fantastic. Broth was rich and flavorful and the shrimp were large and delicious. Served with plenty of fresh basil and sprouts . A true treat for anyone who appreciates great Vietnamese food!. This is by far the best authentic Vietnamese restaurant in SoFlo. We had the deluxe pho with fresh noodles!! The broth was just amazing, and the noodles were so soft they melt in your mouth. We had the pancake with pork, and I could've eaten 3 more! So crispy, the pork was tender and flavorful. We also had the summer rolls but didn't take a photo. So good! I recently had a great experience with this restaurant. I called to order takeout and the owner Mahn was incredibly helpful and patient with me and all my questions. I went to a fairly new Vietnamese restaurant in Lake Worth called Yen's Kitchen, 7364 Lake Worth Rd., Lake Worth. It's just east of the Turnpike. They call the restaurant mostly street food. I have never been to Vietnam so I can't tell you how street food like it is. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I always get pho at any Vietnamese restaurant and what makes this one different is that you can order the type of broth you want, beef, seafood or vegetable for $8.50 and put in any add-ins at additional cost. I chose the brisket and rare steak in beef broth. It was the most delicious beef broth I have ever tasted. There was plenty of meat along with the sprouts, basil, jalapeño peppers, mint and sauces. The waiter, Manh explained, that they cook the broth for 12 hours. He was extraordinarily patient and descriptive. My girlfriend ordered the Wednesday special and loved it. I'm going back on a Tuesday with her to try a Tuesday special. There is outdoor seating available. read more

This unsuspecting small but mighty restaurant in a shopping mall that ignites the culinary juices. First off most of the folks were sitting outside while we went inside. We were greeted with great hospitality! The host/owner helped us with our choices which for me was a novel welcome. The surroundings were all clean and simple and allowed itself to conversation. I would like to add that the owner remembered my sister's name from her previous visit which was a lovely touch. I ordered shrimp and calamari in a chicken broth and my sister had brisket and meatballs in a beef broth. The broth was extremely intense with flavor which differentiates itself to the positive from many other pho places. I don't eat noodles and that was not a problem ordering that way. I had jasmine ice tea and my sister had a special brew of Vietnamese coffee. All in all it was a most pleasant afternoon- no one rushed us, the food was outstanding, the staff was friendly and helpful although I would have liked to see someone stop by mid meal to see if we needed anything. But really all we had to do was to turn around and tell someone at the counter what we needed and it was there. My sister will be making her third visit soon and I will be back in a nanosecond. Unfortunately if you aren't willing to make the customer happy then I'm going to leave a negative review. This is simply not how you do business. The customer is always right and you always accommodate the customer. If you aren't willing to do this then there's going to be negative reviews. I won't be returning and it's a shame because it looked like it had potential. Also, this was literally inedible for me. I ordered the beef stir fried noodles and it has this awful menthol flavor. I assumed it was all beef but there were pork pieces in there. I can't eat pork as it's against my religion. I stopped eating once I realized not all the meat tasted like beef.
