Be forewarned. Here is my experience with this company. They do not honor their morning arrival time window and they do not call to say they are going to be late. When I called them, they said the technician would be at my home in 30 minutes. An hour later they were a no show yet again. Once again, I called and they claimed he was another 30 minutes away still. They were very dismissive and uncaring that we waited around all morning and simply asked if we wanted to reschedule. I rescheduled for later in the day. Their technician arrived only for us to learn for the first time he doesn't do any of the work and only gives a quote for the requested work even though it was simply to install an under the counter reverse osmosis system we already purchased. It is only after we agree would they schedule someone to do the work at another appointment time. The technician said it was a straight forward easy job and would only take 1 man 1 hour. He quoted $488. For 1 man 1 hour of work, no materials needed!!! I said absolutely not. He then started to barter the price saying they could do it for $357. I still said no I will not pay $357 for 1 hour of this work. He called his office and had him on speakerphone. The technician explained everything to this man, who obviously did not know I was overhearing him on speakerphone, given his rude tone and comments before quoting $288. He also told the technician he didn't know anything about their earlier missed appointment and certainly gave no indication that he cared at all. Having overheard this, I spoke up, and explained my experience with the botched morning appointment. He simply repeated himself that he didn't know anything about it and completely blew it off. Clearly, the man couldn't care less. I said I would not pay $488 an hour, nor barter down to $357 an hour or even $288 an hour for an easy one hour job. I ended that conversation. Afterwards, the technician, who unlike the appointment operator and later the man on the phone, was very nice, and apologized for the bad behavior of the man on the phone. I asked if there was a manager to call, he chuckled and said that was the manager. Needless to say, although my wife and I wasted the day waiting for this, we avoided paying the initial quoted price of $488 for 1 hour of work. I hope people reading this don't fall prey to an initial sky high quoted price, a wasted day waiting for them to be late, and having to deal with uncaring and dismissive operators and managers. read more

They charged my elderly parents 23,000 for a new AC and furnace tune up. On top of that, they brought over Service Finance Company to make them take a loan at 9% interest for 6 years. Four guys at the kitchen table telling them it's a great deal. Predatory lending pricks. The best part if they pay the loan off early my parents are still on the hook to pay the full amount of interest of 6400 dollars. Don't let this YES company near your house or anyone you care about. This company sold us A/C for 22K, later we found out that our neighbours from another company bought it 2.5 times cheaper. 2 years later we started experiencing a problem with the heating. Young guy name David came to our house and fixed it. But couple hours later the A/C stopped working properly again. We are so tired to call them every single day. We have a feeling that every worker from this company is trying to screw us over and over again. read more

They had a summer special about a month ago to check out the air conditioner. My mom (Dixie) called and set up an appointment. The technician came out checked things out, looked in the attic and so on. He told my mom, everything looked good. She gave him the commercial price. Everything was good for a couple of weeks. Then all of a sudden the we were having warm air instead of cool air. I called a different company out. After checking everything out, my HVAC was very low on refrigerant (5 years worth). He put what he had into the unit and said once he gets approval from Home Warranty he'll be back to fill it up. It's already cooling off the house. read more

Now I have to sit around on Saturday for hours waiting for him to return, and hope that he is able to accept payment from me then. During the routine maintenance walk through for this winter season, a YES technician showed me video of one of our attic units with a drain pan full of water. He magically knew the price to fix the problem. $2,605. As we've had fishy dealings with YES in the past, I sent them away. I looked in the attic for myself. What he showed me a video of was not our equipment. To be sure we weren't missing something, I had a reputable company come and do basic winter service on our units the very next day. They found absolutely nothing wrong. No water in any pans. All units functioning properly. No sign of water in pans anywhere. I repeatedly called YES to report what happened and let them know who specifically on their team committed this fraud. I never received a call back. They do not care. read more

Their salesman, (Danny?) looked me straight in the eye and said that he cleaned and checked the servicing my outside compressor coils. I went out to look after all the other work was done, he didn't even lift the lid on it, and the coils were filthy. To their benefit, the apprentice tech did a good job of cleaning my air vents. I had to call someone else to re-service my compressor coils. SHAME ON HOME DEPOT for sending them to me. Never again. read more

They came over for an estimate to install a ductless ac system (labor only) and they were very very expensive. Found another technician for 1/5 of the cost. We had a gas pipe sticking up out of our patio since we moved in, and finally wanted to get it cut and capped off. (It was originally intended for an outdoor BBQ, but we were never going to put a grill there, so it was just in the way.) They came out, cut it and capped it below the ground level (supposedly), and then filled in the hole with dirt. But you could still smell gas after they left! I was able to turn off the gas to that particular pipe, but...that didn't seem like a good/permanent solution. I mean, there's still a leaky gas pipe under my flower bed. So I called them to come back out a month later and they agreed to do so free of charge. I showed the guy the problem, he said, "yep, I definitely smell gas!" and then....just told me to keep it shut off. OK, but...there's still a leaky pipe under my flower bed...that you guys were supposed to "cap off" 2 months ago...and for which I paid you $1400. Is that really the only solution you can offer me? At that point he said to call the office and then abruptly left for another appointment! And the invoice they sent me afterwards said "Gas smell from underground gas pipe gas line was capped off" -- a blatant lie! I've since tried to contact them through their chatbot and I was assured on 2 different days that someone would reach out to me. So far nobody has. So I *still* have a pipe leaking gas into my yard....which seems kinda dangerous. I wish Yes! had remedied the problem. The initial visit was not exactly cheap. This company is as good as a scam as they come. I was in Home Depot and they have a service offering for a/c tune-up which I figured why not for my home. The A/c units were working fine but it's always smart to get it serviced. After they initially came out to my property, I was met with two gentleman from their business that were nice. HOWEVER, once they worked on my unit, it stopped working. So I called the company back to have them come back and see what happened, next thing I know, apparently my fuse box "blew" and melted. Frustrating enough, I received multiple quotes from various venders so I could have my unit repaired or replaced. Most common comment I received was, "how did this even happen? This isn't common at all. Did you stick something in there?" Having to replace an entire system was not in my plans but I had to come to the point of... there is no other choice but to replace for my family and I. Next, I was reminded, THEIR FLYER has a "NO BREAKDOWN, GUARANTEED". Which verbatim states : " if your system breaks down within six months of your service, provided recommended repairs were completed, we'll refund the tune-up fee and waive the repair diagnostic fee". I've now called this business THREE(3) times for at least a refund of my charge on a system that broke 1 day after they touched it and 2 days later melted after being touched again. This business quite obviously has been trying to avoid any complaints and culpability of their work and love to use the " we'll escalate this and call you back" as a means of hoping you'll forget so they can keep your money. I can't stress this enough.... AVOID THIS COMPANY. it has been a little less than a month since this incident and I've since had my unit replaced by a competitor. I've been stuck going back and forth with YES. AVOID THE HEADACHE, THE HASSLE, and predatory -like behavior. Called another company that dispatched 1 guy within an hour and they quoted me 60% less than YES AC for the same work and probably better quality. After doing a routine check up on my AC in April, my AC did not work when they left. I figured they just turned off a switch and forgot to turn it back on. So I kept forgetting to call them to come back because I'm downstairs and my area is covered and I sleep with a fan. Plus I'm very busy. So I finally called and They came out and told me it would cost me nearly $4,000 to fix. So I called my home insurance and they had my hot muggy house cool in 10 minutes. I called again yesterday for my garbage disposal. They told me it needed replacing and the cheapest one they recommended would cost $577.00. I'm done. read more

HUGE word of caution about these folks. My 80 yr old mom received a coupon for an Air Conditioning check up. They came down, told her she needed a new capacitor to start (no issues with this), but really needed a complete new system as hers had "days" left and wouldn't survive the summer. They provided her with a written estimate. Nearly $1000 for a new capacitor, and over $20,000 for a new system. If this isn't a case of attempted elder abuse, I don't know what is. 1K for a 10 dollar capacitor? $100 bucks tops with service call fee. These folks are scammers and are attempting to take advantage of older folks and I'm sure people who aren't knowledgeable. Whatever the case, shame on them. Fortunately for my mom, she was ready for scammers and subsequently had her capacitor changed for under $100 by a real contractor. My Ac went out and YES came out for a service call. They claimed nothing could be done except a new unit, this one was not repairable. I also paid them to clean the units and it was not done. They tried to sell me a 45K unit, I said NO! I had another company come out the following day, they cleaned my units correctly and fixed my AC unit. It only needed a new motor. My AC is working great, nice and cool and cost me $700 instead of 45K. I feel YES is just trying to upsell new units instead of helping residents who live in Las Vegas in 100 degree weather. I had found A leak in my basement. Called this company to have it looked at the next day. I have a lift station in my basement. They were here for four hours. They diagnosed that the reason for the leak was that the GFI connected to the lift station had gone bad causing water to leak from our water softener. They wanted an electrician to come out and they charged me $200 just for this diagnosis. I didn't have an electrician come out and a second opinion come look at it And it turns out that the lift station was the problem and it was tripping the GFI so I paid $200 for this company to come out try and get an electrician out when it was the lift station like all along. I got quotes from them to replace my HVAC system and the quotes were over $25,000. I got other quotes and the highest of them was $15,000 (we obviously went with another company). Yes! is the referred company through Home Depot and Lowes and that is how they get their business. I recently bought a water heater at Lowes and they sent Yes! out to install the water heater. Two weeks prior, I ordered me a new thermostat, and Home Depot referred me to them. Omg worst thing they could have done. So after the two weeks, my ac stopped working, it was saying that the c wire wasn't connected. Called them back, and they sent two guys Went They a got new one, out. They checked it out and said I needed a new one. and they came back. To replace it. went They on put the in roof. the new one worst. We think felt a little air so they could have let happen. Then when they arrive, they tell you that something needs to be repaired, and charge you well over the going price for that service. I don't even know if that service was needed, but I do know that I was priced gouged for the repair. read more
