#ServiceStarShoutout I am writing an update after calling Yes We Can for a second time to repair our crappy Electrolux-sucks refrigerator. (Btw, we used to own Kenmore Platinum appliances and we never had any issues; the fully loaded dishes would always come out sparking clean without the need to scrub). After doing research and seeing all the poor ratings and negative reviews of other appliance repair companies, I remembered the positive experience I had with YWC, particularly with their technician ERIC. Coincidentally, he literally just returned to work for the company after a very long break the same week our fridge broke down. Thank god!!! He's a lifesaver. Everyone needs to keep their food cold so it doesn't spoil and cause food poisoning, right??? Shortly upon arrival, Eric immediately diagnosed the problem (several problems actually) and got our fridge working again very quickly. In just 2 hours he fixed a dysfunctional freezer door, replaced a broken part for the auto defrost system, defrosted the condenser, repaired the ice maker, and removed a non-functional sliding rack. WOW. He's literally one of the best going above and beyond expectations--trustworthy, dependable, professional, and EFFICIENT. I HIGHLY recommend Yes We Can for refrigerator, stove, oven, and dishwasher repair. Don't forget to ask specifically for ERIC!!! Side note: I was surprised by the total fee, which was super reasonable (under $200). A plumber came to our house one day with a ludicrous estimate of $300 to install a water filter, which I managed to do on my own in less than 5 minutes!! Glad I'm not that clueless, lol read more

They came out to diagnose a washing machine issue. Replaced the wrong part. They stated that I needed to initiate a new service call through Lowe's. After doing that they never showed up to do the repair and reassigned me to another repair company . Very poor work ethic did not fix the problem I would not recommend in any way​ read more

Absolutely appalled and infuriated with this company. I went through my warranty claims for a washer repair, this was one of the two companies to choose from for service. It took 1 week for them to diagnose the issue, which I already knew was the shock absorber based on error code the machine would occasionally provide, otherwise machine was in working order. Like I mentioned it was only occasional less than once a week where during the spin cycle the machine would bang and get off balanced causing the error code. It was more tedious of an issue having to re-run the machine when the error occurred than anything. The initial technician that came out diagnosed the machine as ONLY needing to have shock absorbers replaced, unsure whether part was in stock or back ordered but I did not receive an update until 2 weeks later that the part was in and I could be scheduled for service the following week. So 3 weeks after diagnosis, they send a different technician out for replacement of shock absorbers which mind you the first tech told me takes a few hours (3-4). This tech rang my doorbell and without giving me a moment to get to the door he was at started banging on the door. He's in my home for 1 hour only when he rudely states "it's not the shock absorber it's the computer, the machines not running" when I questioned him as the machine was in working order prior to his visit with the exception of the occasional error code during the spin cycle he belittled me without allowing me to ask further questions stating "well the computers the problem and I need to order it" while walking out the door. No time frame provided no additional information nothing. I called the company immediately after he left and to no surprise no answer so I left a voice message. 48 hours later I still do not receive any phone call back so again called and left yet another message. Mind you I am 7 months pregnant with a weight restriction so not only did this technician not repair my occasional but still functional washing machine he completely destroyed it and made it completely nonfunctional. This isn't just an inconvenience, I medically can not lift loads of laundry into my vehicle to then take to a laundromat to do my laundry with an unknown timeframe of repair from the further damage he caused. I was unaware of the terrible reviews this company has from previous customers and could've saved myself the stress, headache and more importantly still have a washing machine that functioned normally minus the occasional spin error code. I'm frustrated beyond belief and do not recommend this trash company whose name should be "yes we can, cause further damage to your appliances". I've since reached out to the claim company who has them listed on their referral list for repairs because they need to know the disturbing truth and fraud this company is. I will also be contacting the better business bureau regarding the fraudulence of this company. I'm not only out of a washer, I have to now pay out of pocket for a replacement washer as this company "yes we can" damaged and destroyed my machine. the claims company was not only empathetic but apologized for my experience and they do not want "yes we can" to attempt any further repair. So final comments: STAY FAR AWAY from this company save yourself and your wallet from the trouble they will cause. read more

CRITICAL REVIEW - YES WE CAN APPLIANCE REPAIR; 34B MAIN ST LITTLE COMPTON RI. Stay away from this service company.... I'm a 71 year old with a 68 yr old wife and we had a horrific time with a serviceman from yes we can appliance service.... we almost had to call the police. We had a service call in for warranty work and for a dryer vent cleaning, which we were to pay for. when he first arrived my wife asked what he planned to do with the dryer, he wouldn't give her a straight answer, saying he didn't know, he'd see, things depend. An arrogant answer and attitude. Later I asked if he was replacing a particular part on the warranty work, and I got a flippant half answer. Based on how he talked to my wife, we called the company to complain about his attitude, rudeness, and he wouldn't commit to doing the work scheduled, or give any explanations. He overheard my talking to his boss and he became incensed. Yelling at me, in my house, for complaining to his boss. He stood within 2 inches of my face, physically threatening me then he stood on my front porch and yelled for all the neighbors to hear, that i was an a-hole. I called the company back, and all they said was sorry - we'll send someone else next time. Don't be the one to get this horrible service guy the next time, since the company allows it, and states they'll send him somewhere else. Find someone else to help with any repairs. My stovetop was not working and was giving an error code. Tech never informed us what he was removing from our oven would make the actual oven also not work. Went to use the oven and found out after it wouldn't pre heat. A week later Once he replaced the "broken" board the oven works again but still no stovetop. The oven worked before he touched it!! Now I'm being charged $300 and I'm still at square one and have to bring in someone else to handle the job. Hard to get in touch with except when the bill needs to be sent. Our freezer was super loud and we couldn't figure out why. Yes We Can Repair booked our appointment within a few days of us calling, arrived on time first thing this morning. Once they heard the sound in the freezer, they immediately identified the problem as the fan and fixed it within 20 minutes. I overheard the technicians talking to each other throughout the repair, and I could tell they have years of experience, and they are very professional. Great service like this is rare to find in a small town, so I highly recommend calling Yes We Can to repair any appliance. It's worth noting that this was my first time hiring this company, and I have no personal affiliation with them. I was shocked at the previous bad reviews so I wanted to share my positive experience. Twice they came to fix two different appliances. Twice they told me that they couldn't fit them. They charged me $95 each visit and fixed nothing. This company is very incompetent, so don't call them!!! read more

My husband called to fix our oven a few weeks ago (the stove was fine)it was showing an error code and not working. The repair guy came out, took apart the back and said he needed to order the part. Didn't tell me now my oven wasn't going to work until the other part came in. I went without an oven and a stove for a week. The repair guy came out today, put the new part in and now the oven works WHICH WAS NOT BROKEN IN THE FIRST PLACE, but the stove still needs another part to work. They charged us $304 and nothing was fixed. Now a few weeks before Thanksgiving I have to find another repair place THEY RIPPED US OFF read more

After being referred by Jay's Broadway Appliance in Smithfield, RI where we originally purchased our refrigerator, I contacted Yes We Can Repair to have our refrigerator repaired. Via phone I described my problem to Karen, the company owner, she explained to me that LG is notorious for selling refrigerators with faulty compressors and I would need to contact LG direct and have them send a new compressor, which was still under warranty, directly to them and they would come out to do the repair. On July 13,2022 a technician arrived and did the compressor replacement install charging us $559.18 this included a service charge for coming out to make a diagnosis, which never occurred, and the repair fee for replacing the compressor. Being present for the service repair, at no time was a diagnosis done or any other part of the refrigerator evaluated for a problem. I asked the technician about this, and he told me it was definitely the compressor and "this is a very common for LG refrigerators". The compressor unit was installed in about an hours' time and payment was made. After waiting for 24 hours to add food, as recommended by our technician, we realized inside of the refrigerator did not seem to be getting up to correct temperature and called back Yes We Can to report issue. Several days later a different technician arrived and said our unit needed Freon and once installed the unit would reach correct temperature. The cold air did return but the unit still didn't seem to be as cold as it should be at 35 degrees. Another call was made, and he first technician showed back up and told us the refrigerator was up to temperature and working as it should be. After returning our food to the refrigerator and trying to lower temperature to 33 degrees it still did not seem to be keeping the food cold and the side walls of the box were lukewarm. After much frustration we called again and they refused to come back or issue a refund. Had to call LG direct to fix. read more
