    Justine's Chicago Hotdogs Gardinier Wyoming.
    Cindi B.

While visiting Yellowstone National Park we went Gardinier Wyoming. While there we found this amazing food truck. The woman who owned it was Justine's Chicago Hotdogs. She served Vienna hotdogs and delicious Vienna pickles actually flown in from Chicago to Wyoming. These were the best hotdogs and pickles I've ever had! I love a good hotdog and this was the best! Prices were very reasonable and the outdoor seating was perfect with a beautiful view of the Wyoming mountains. We spoke with Justine and learned she was actually from Chicago and retired in Wyoming and decided to open a Chicago hotdog food truck. If your visiting Yellowstone go to Gardiner Wyoming and check Justine's out! You will not be disappointed!

I have to say Bunkhouse Brewery was one of my favorites here in town. I thought their beers were creative and more on the experimental side but what really drew me into one of their beers was an ESB (Extra Special Bitter) and the one I had had brown sugar in it which really put a great spin on this beer type I've had on a variety of occasions. The specific name for this beer is the Bozeman Pride ESB. The brown sugar in this beer tempers the bitterness and you can taste the brown sugar itself in the flavor profile. This gives the beer a great complexity which made this beer a super fun and memorable beer to enjoy and drink. I could easily delve in for another time and time again.

They have a wide variety of flavors and you can really taste each individual ingredient within them. When I went I had the bonfire blonde ale and it is definitely in my top 3 beers I've had to this day. Definitely worth checking out !!! The only con I would have is that the inside is a little small when it comes to days with bad weather.

And yes, they'll turn you away even if you can see empty tables in the restaurant in the last 30 mins when there are no more reservations arriving. For dinner, since we reached about half hour before they closed, they were out of 2 out of 3 entree discuss specials and only had Mac and cheese, the third airboating. We got that one which came with a side of beans (most definitely canned) and a black bean burger (most definitely pre-made frozen) and a side of fries (hot and tasty). The portion of Mac and cheese was humongous like the size of a small soccer ball. We barely made a dent in it and had to throw the rest away which was terrible. They should really consider portion sizes based on the type of entree. For breakfast the next day, we had the breakfast bowl which was very tasty. Scrambled eggs, salsa, potatoes, peppers. We got the oatmeal with blueberries (each topping is additional $$) which was ok, stickier than I'd prefer. The coffee was great. We also carried egg and cheese sandwiches for the road which were quite dry. I would've rather had the breakfast bowl again. I'm glad they exist so that there's an option for food in this area but they can definitely improve on several fronts including composting the food scraps, because why not? I'd think keeping trash to a minimum is especially important in a national park.

There weren't a lot of vegetarian options for lunch and dinner, which was frustrating. The breakfast options were definitely the best options in my opinion. It's like a large food court, but with only one restaurant/menu. Quite loud, but that was due to the volume of people. Service was fine...you order and then they call your number and you get your food from the counter, so really not much interaction with the workers. The tables were pretty clean for it being so busy.

Breakfast burrito was packed with sausage and hash browns. Huckleberry jam French toast was a treat, I would definitely recommend. GREAT value, with completely reasonable prices. My kids each got a burrito and I got the huckleberry French toast. Everything was great! They have really good local sodas for purchase too. The second time, we stopped here on our way out of town and dined in. They were busier and make everything to order, so the food actually took a while. My youngest and I ordered a huckleberry matcha as well. Those come out first, but unfortunately a lot of the ice melted and the drink looked gray in color instead of the pretty differentiation between the matcha and the huckleberry. It tasted okay, slightly watered down. My kids got the breakfast plate and I got the avocado toast and had them add the tomato and everything but the bagel seasoning. It was probably the best avocado toast I've ever had in my life! Incredible flavor! We had fun chatting with some other visitors while we were there. A very cute and homey place with seating inside and outside. They also sell local items like honey and photography.
