This spot is still extremely nostalgic for me as it was my go-to spot for my family when we had Chinese food. I'm so glad to see the spot still open and appears to be having a good flow of customers still! I don't recall the first time I came here but suspect it had to be at least 20 years ago. They offer everything you would expect from a Chinese restaurant. My personal favorite has not changed and that is their General Tso's Chicken. I have also always enjoyed their crab Rangoons, fried rice, chicken fingers and more. Staff have always been friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere is nothing over the top but most of their business is takeout. They do offer some tables/booths for those looking to enjoy their food right after it's cooked inside. Quarantine take out and first time visit. We went for the typical pupu for two, our favorite soups and chicken fried rice. Phone service sounded stressed but took our order well. Food was ready and hot on arrival. We brought it back home and enjoyed our meal. Thanks to them for staying open and still serving take out! read more

Recommended by a friend as our favorite spot was closed. All I can say is...EEK! My Szechuan triple delight was neither hot or spicy and the egg rolls and steamed dumplings were very doughy. Pork fried rice was flavorless and bland, but the bbq pork was ok. Hence, the second star. The moral of this disaster? Wait until your favorite spot is open. read more

By far and away THE BEST Chinese restaurant I the entire state and their isn't even a close second. Absolutely love them. And you can see the kitchen from where you order and it's very clean and orderly. Staff always friendly. Food always perfectly consistent and hot, delicious and fresh. We used to be regular customers and stopped after a few disappointing meals. We typically order a #9 and #12 Lo Mien combo. This used to be the best Lo Mein around. Went there last night and sadly we were disappointed once again. The Lo Mein has no flavor, is overly greasy and the portions are definitely smaller than they used to be. The fried rice has never really been great, but now it is bad. First time ordering takeout from Yeung's. Customer service both on the phone and pick up was great. The menu is typical of any local Chinese takeout. Unfortunately I found the food quality to be poor. Crab rangoons tasted old, pork fried rice dry and old. The shrimp with lobster sauce tasted fine, but the portion of shrimp was minimal . The crab Rangoons tasted like they were stale or made hours ago, the soup just didn't taste right it didn't have any flavor. Customer service has gone way down. They are busy but when you ask them to do something special they dont. I actually came to Sabattus from Lew to go to Yeungs. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken combo And I asked them to cut the chicken into smaller pieces and they wouldnt. Really soured me with them. Wont be back for a long time. I was driving along Rt 126 and saw Yuengs sign and decided to take a chance. Small town Chinese restaurants can be notoriously hit or miss. Well let me tell you Yuengs was a hit! It was 2pm on a Sunday and the place was understandably empty. The restaurant itself is very clean, with typical strip-mall restaurant decor and atmosphere. I suspect they do a brisk take-out business. I ordered a combination special (available all day) for $8.95. Two beef teriyaki, an egg roll, two chicken fingers, two wings and pork fried rice. All of my fried items were piping hot and uniformly delicious! The teriyaki was particularly good, with generous strips of beef with minimal excess fat. The fried rice was ok, but not great - compared to the rest of my food it didn't stand up which is why I didn't give five stars. I suspect that when the restaurant is busier, the rice is fresher and probably quite tasty. I will go out of my way to visit Yueng's again!! read more

I'm surprised someone rated this place 4 stars! I've had their food approximately 3 times over the last 4 years and every time, it is disgusting. The pork fried rice is bland; the sesame chicken and general tso's chicken are so soggy they make me want to vomit. The fried items have been over fried on every occasion. The food is so greasy you'll be left feeling nauseated the rest of the day. Every sauce is watery, not thick like other places. I usually think most Chinese restaurants are at least "okay"; this is the first one I've been to that I think is awful. There is a reason that place is always empty! read more

Recently after not being able to drive I stopped by again with my son for lunch the owner is impatient and the food again was bland. They would be good if it was the only place for 100 miles around. We live just in the outskirts of Sabattus. This is the closest Chinese restaurant and our favorite. I love the egg rolls and dumplings as appetizers and the chicken and broccoli as a main dish. The wonton soup is good, but the broth is a bit of a greasy feeling, I'm also not a huge fan of the big chunks of bok choy in it. I really like the lo mein, but I ask for it without onions because I don't like the long strips and there are a lot of them. (I don't mind the onions in the fried rice.) I vary my order frequently, but my husband orders the same thing every time, Tidbit #2, minus shrimp and add crab rangoons. I love their version of sweet and sour sauce. Sometimes the teenage help could be a bit more talkative/friendly, but what can I expect from high school students? The owners are kind and we've never had a problem with them. I think I recall once getting back home and missing the sweet and sour sauce, but we've never had the wrong order. read more

I have eaten there on many occasions, my family likes their food more than any other chinese place in Maine. Their food comes in many grades of spicy to non spicy. This is great because everyone is different in their opinion of "bland or spicy". Everything is made fresh right there, they hand make the egg rols and crab rangoons every day. The owners are warm and friendly and make an effort to speak English clearly. Best little out of the way place in Maine in my opinion. read more
