Ended up damaging my brand new door, door frame and the lock was installed crooked. He knew he fucked up and tried to act like it was all minor. When he pointed out the damaged door, he said my door was brand new material that he's never seen before. All crap! Not true. It was damaged because he didn't center it and it ended up breaking off a piece. With that being said, he offered a small discount and told me to go to Home Depot for the wood glue and it was an easy fix. When he rekeys my door lock, that also didn't work. To wrap things up and make it worse, he didn't even have anything to clean up the wood shavings. Left my brand new house filthy with debris inside and outside. Total garbage service. At the end of all this, I had to call another company to come out and repair what he did. Not sure how this company has 5 stars but this was a total disaster and crap of a company.

He went out of his way to help me get the car started at the dealership, and I remembered that. Recently I had an issue at my business with a commercial mortise that broke. It's not a cheap part, and he replaced it for $800. But what stood out most was how much time he put into figuring out the real problem. He came out three different times to diagnose it, on his own time, without nickel and diming me. It turned out the door had bigger issues from the original install. It was missing parts, which was causing it not to latch correctly. After some back and forth, Mike came back out again, replaced the missing parts for free, and made sure the door was working perfectly. That says a lot. I hit the Yelp find-a-service thing and it sent out requests to multiple locksmiths in the area. I'm assuming I'll have to wait minutes, hours, or even days for quotes. Then only seconds later, I get a response from USA Lock and Key, mentioning a flat rate of $79.99 for nearly immediate service (25 minutes away). Let's get it! When the locksmith Haim arrived, I knew right away this was a very professional locksmith who knows what he's doing and he's been doing it for a long time. His clean compact van was essentially a well kept toolbox, even had a key cutting tool in the back. What's more, he had a display with an example dimple key knob, residence knob, and commercial grade knob to show me the differences, while also discouraging bluetooth/smart doorknobs. As the pro he is, he verified my ID and address before getting to work. He gets to work and I noticed, the entire time he had METRO PD license displayed around his neck so I pick his brain about it. Sketchy locksmiths may do work to scope out a place, duplicate keys, or damage knobs to scam customers into buying parts, so it's important that your locksmith be registered through the police department. He even stated he occasionally gets called for Metro assistance. Whoa. Just minutes into the work and I was already into my home. Haim was very knowledgeable, professional, and you could tell he puts a lot of care in his work. Hopefully I won't lock myself out again, but if I do, this is the guy. By the way, its been a whole day and I got the second quote from another business.
