I came here for Boba with high expectations. Don't get me wrong only because I had some amazing Boba not too long ago. I got the black milk tea with Boba 100%-normal sugar and I gotta say it just didn't really have a good milk tea flavor. It wasn't terrible but once I been into the Boba it tasted warm as if they had just cooked it. Typically, Boba has cooled down and it's got that hard consistency to chew through this one more melted in your mouth and made my tea warm versus cold. The ice pretty much melted that's how I know they probably just cooked the Boba. I would give them a try again because I know I've had them before but today was just didn't have it. Service was great. They were very quick. The place seemed clean and full of people who just wanted to work on their laptops almost like Starbucks. So that has to say something about their Boba being good and maybe it was just not my day.

Still a 10/10 recommend tea shop for me! Wish the location was closer to me or my job but I am more than willing to pay the mileage fee for DoorDash delivery. Taro crème brûlée is a go-to and always delicious. Highly recommend any of their crème brûlée drinks.

I tried the matcha latte with crème brûlée cream at Yicha and it was amazing! The matcha itself tasted high quality!! It was rich, earthy, and full-bodied without being overly bitter. The bobarista said the drinks can lean towards the sweeter side, so I went with 25% sugar which was just right, not too sweet, letting the matcha shine through. The crème brûlée cream added a velvety, slightly creamy touch that made the drink extra indulgent. Bonus points for their rewards system! You get a free drink for every 10 purchased, which is always a nice perk. Definitely coming back!

I got the Yi Cha milk tea ($6.25) and added boba (95 cents) for a total of $7.79. I chose 50% sugar because I was feeling indulgent. The boba was warm and slightly chewy at first sip. After a few minutes, the boba became a little firmer and was less bouncy. The tables were full of people on the weekend. The interior is a little different from shops as it has a darker palette than the usual stark white walls.

Their boba balls are good quality. The creme brulee is one of my regular orders. But their teas are also a great choice.

One of my favorite Boba spots! They have great fruit teas and their house milk tea is so good! I recently tried their Ube latte, and now it's one of my favorites! Service is quick, and the staff is very polite.

Delicious! Came in as a group of 11 and we were not disappointed. Not only is the interior inviting and well-decorated but the people working are friendly, helpful, and patient. The drinks themselves are excellent. The menu offers a variety of unique drinks and flavors including crème brûlée and various yogurt drinks all of which are great. I specifically recommend the mango dragonfruit yogurt. There are also more simplistic kid-friendly options. Definitely a spot worth checking out on your next boba run!

Great tea place the ambiance is kinda loud when there's a lot of people . It's nice and small I usually just pick up . They have plenty of flavors and everything is good . Service is quick . Highly recommend to try it if you like tea spots .

Driving to my brothers, this place peaked my interest. So I pulled over and tried it. I am very pleasantly surprised with the quality of my drink. I order the honey kumquat tea with 50% sugar. The tea was refreshing and offered a good balance with tea and kumquat flavor. I actually paused after the first sipped and let out an audible "ahh this is nice" The match late with added crème brûlée with 25% sugar. The cashier said their drinks are on the sweeter side. This adjustment was prefect. The brûlée brought in the right amount of richness to soothe out the matcha. I usually prefer a strong matcha flavor but this mix reminded me of a nice summer ice cream mixed milkshake with a smooth and rich aftertaste taste.

Amazing drinks!! I'm very picky with boba places especially because I usually only get matcha which is easy to mess up. Yi Cha is probably my favorite place to get boba in north Houston, and honestly, I prefer it over the other big chains in Bellaire. - Matcha Creme Brulee (4.7/5): The matcha creme brulee is my absolute favorite. It's definitely not traditional Japanese matcha and has the distinctive South East Asian matcha flavor which is slightly floral. The creme brulee is creamy and adds a subtle sweetness that helps balance out the drink. I also like how they swirl it all around the cup so it's evenly distributed and not all on the bottom. However, there are some chunky or grainy bits of creme brulee that kind of disturb the drinking experience. Overall, this drink is refreshing and delicious. - Matcha latte (3.9/5): Decent matcha latte from a boba shop. I like how they usually put a lot of matcha so it's flavorful. It does, however, somewhat taste like Costco matcha, but I'm not complaining. I just think matcha connoisseurs might not rate it so high, but I personally really enjoy this drink. Service/ambiance: The interior is very nice and industrial with a good amount of seating and outlets. It can get very crowded and loud, but it's a very nice place to do schoolwork if you're able to get a table. The service is also very nice and you can kind of tell it's a small business.

Great place! Stumbled across this by accident and it was the best accident of the day! Great tasting milk tea (the jasmine milk tea was AMAZING!!) and the egg bubble waffle was made to perfection. Yi Cha is a great place to get your boba fix! Matchaberry Lava (pictured) wasn't really my cup o' tea, as the strawberry syrup was a little overpowering and made it too syrupy. I've ordered the Matcha Crème Brûlée here before and it is good. The brown sugar boba milk is delicious! The cashiers are very friendly and have great recommendations. The shop itself is also very quaint and clean. I really liked the unique drink carrier, I was able to fit it perfectly in my car cup holders this way. I took away a star because the prices are pretty expensive compared to average prices at other boba places. Overall, it's cool to see a really good quality boba place in Spring, TX! read more

Yi Cha was a nice treat after dinner at Jinya. I ordered the brown sugar boba ice cream. It was delicious. The boba was hot and flavorful and the ice cream was the perfect creamy vanilla. My wife ordered the honey lemon tea at 25% sweet and it was a perfect drink similar to a refresher but not so sickeningly sweet. We will definitely be returning. read more

I have been three times since their opening and every time I have been impressed. The interior is very nice and pleasing to the eye. The cashier and workers are all very friendly and will help you with your order. So far, I have tried the kiwi green tea, yi cha milk tea, black milk tea, green milk tea, and the yi cha iced coffee. For all but the iced coffee (the sugar level is fixed) I recommend getting 75% sugar. Their boba is also very good. At first I was skeptical, but every time I have been the boba quality is perfect. I no longer have to go to Bellaire for boba! read more

The Yi Cha coffee is so good! It's strong like viet coffee but not too sweet. I also tried the matchaberry lava which had a strawberry syrup and real strawberry pieces. Tasted pretty good but it can get pretty sweet. Yi Cha has solid drinks but they can be sweet so make sure to adjust according to your taste. read more

Clean facility, however when it comes to ordering, I got a strawberry LATTE (which cost over $6) but when I got it from the counter it just had milk and strawberry puree. I ended up paying $6 for glorified strawberry milk when it was under lattes? I asked if it came with an espresso shot and maybe it was just mixed it but the ladies at the counter just said it only came with milk and strawberries which makes it feel like false advertising read more

We tried the Yi Cha milk tea, classic black milk tea, and peach green tea. Everything tastes great. Their milk tea is smooth and not too creamy, sweetness is perfect. Prices are a little too steep, around $7 for a milk tea. read more

So far all of the drinks I've tried here were delicious! The fruit tea, the coffee, the coffee combinations such as Ube Latte, and they actually make good Jazmine milk tea (it's not often I find a good spot for my favorite milk tea). Therefore, I do recommend this place. Also, if you are wanting to try a new drink this place would be the perfect spot for it. Oh! And 75% sweet is perfect if you want sweetness, but not overloaded. read more

I had been waiting to try this place out for a while now since I saw some Instagram posts about this new boba joint! I was super excited but left with disappointment as the drink was not what I expected. I preferred something more tea flavor and even with 25% sweetness, the Yicha milk tea still tasted more like sugar and not tea enough. The drinks are definitely beautiful and the interior is clean and nice as seen online but I don't think it was worth the $6.77 price tag (without boba too). The cost is pretty steep and I wouldn't come back for that quality. read more

My wife and I went here after getting ramen at Jinya next door. It's probably one of (if not the) best bubble tea shops in the Spring/Woodlands area. In the past we always had to go into Houston for great bubble tea, so it's nice we now have a high quality bubble tea shop nearby. The selection, presentation, and quality of their tea is definitely on par with the best bubble tea shops in Houston and it's a new favorite we will continue to visit. read more

I've been to a few similar places but this one didn't quite hit the bar for me. $17 for two drinks that were just okay was a little underwhelming. I had the mocha frappe with the sweet foam. I expected it to be a little similar to the Starbucks sweet foam. But it reminded me more of a cheesecake taste. All in all, I drank half of it before realizing I wasn't really into it. Maybe I just got the wrong thing but for the price point, was expecting much more. Besides that, service was friendly and the interior is nice with minimal seating. read more

Staff was kind of rude and dismissive when I came to pick up my order. They assumed I was a DoorDash driver and gave me a ugly look. Very odd, I said that I was picking up for myself then their tune slightly changed for the better. Little off putting, I work in a neighboring business so I was thrown off by the service. Honestly one of the best boba places in the Spring/Woodlands area. Tried the taro brûlée with boba, matcha brûlée with boba, and brown sugar boba with brûlée. All of them were incredible. The prices are steeper for your typical boba drink, but this place is worth it, and a nice treat. read more

I was super excited to see a new Tea place so close to me....and they have cheese foam!!! I got the Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea with the cheese foam. The tea itself was really good. The boba is soft and just chewy enough. However; I couldn't taste the 'foam' at all. I could barely even see it. So either there was hardly any there or it's just not something that you can taste. Great tea but skip the foam. read more

Great ambiance with free wireless charger for phones! Love! The drinks; however was a different story. I got the iced latte with vanilla and added boba. It equated to 8.06 for one drink that should be about $5-6 max. The boba was a bit hard in the center and not as chewy and soft. The drink itself was good, just costed me an arm and a leg. If I have nothing to do and lots of money, I would frequent this establishment more often. For now, this is a one time stop for visiting the Spring area. read more

Love love love the yicha iced coffee. It's essentially an iced Vietnamese coffee (cafe sua da), except this place does it with a slight twist, they froth the milk a little to add a bit of textural contrast. Ingenious. Coffee is strong, just how I like it. I always get tempted to try their other drinks, but can never resist it. That said, every time I've deviated, I regret it. I tried their brown sugar milk boba and it's way too sweet. You can't adjust the sweetness with that drink since the boba is already cooked with sugar. I also had their milk foam green tea, which is good, but not great. At any rate, if you're looking for a great iced coffee, this is your place. Don't walk, run/sprint/jog/fast walk/skip/wheel your way down to this place!! read more

Tea was yummy, service was awkward! Got a creme Brule matcha with boba and it's incredibly good, but when I entered the building no one said a word despite me being the only customer. When I walked up to order the girl still said nothing at all. I'm not expecting to chit chat necessarily, but a "Hi, what can u get for you?" is pretty standard. She just stared at me until I uncomfortably ordered. The only thing she told me was my order number. I get it if people are kind of quiet, but none of the three girls said anything or smiled and it was awkward enough that I probably won't be back. read more
