    Mango Sago

I have been here a few times to the Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea in Flushing. I had one of my favorite drinks, the Mango Sago drink. Creamy, fresh and delicious. I had an additional drink too, YiFang Fruit Tea. Both drinks requested with less ice snd less sugar. Just as tasty without all the additional ice and sugar. Yi Fang drinks, all use the premium Taiwan Tea leaves and the natural raw cane sugar only. Good drinks deserve good ingredients. All payments accepted, service was good. Until the next time, Yi Fang Fruit Tea.

No line in sight at 4:23pm on a Friday and got the brown sugar pearl drink!

I'm glad YiFang moved to their own location a few years ago. Workers now are very friendly and knowledgeable, the taiyaki's are fresh and tastes good but it just takes a while so be patient.

This is an authentic Taiwanese fruit tea shop that hand crafts their drinks specifically to your liking. You're able to customize the amount of creamer and level of sweetness to your liking. Their ingredients are fresh and locally sourced and seasonal. The fruit tea's that I ordered were tasty and made with care. I had the mango pomelo sago, the orange fruit tea and the yi fang fruit tea. It'll take a few minutes but it's well worth the wait. Their menu is vast and there are so many drinks to try! If you're in the area, give them a try and you will feel very refreshed. I will be back soon.

Logan ginger tea (hot)- 5 stars!!!!! Zero sugar and it was so sweet already. It felt so warm and hit the spot after a full meal. It helped with digestion for sure. I'm not sure about any other drinks, but this drink is a 5 star for me. There were a few bar seats in there, but most people order and leave. Lots of togo orders while waiting.

I was walking by and decided to stop in for a tea. I got the strawberry peach iced tea. It was absolutely delicious. It had a ton of fruit and the tea itself was really good. I'd def go here again!

Yi Fang hails from Taiwan, like many bubble tea shops these days (Taiwan is considered the birthplace of bubble/boba tea.) Several years ago they started popping up all around Manhattan and the NY metro area. This location has been here for at least a couple years itself. I like that their tea options are solid, outside of Tianren, better quality teas than some of the earlier shops that used mostly Assam for milk teas and more artificial flavors* in their fruit teas. Each tea has a distinct profile and you can taste the difference. Their regular bubble milk tea is good and I especially like their green plum tea with aiyu (traditional slightly sweet jelly made from the seeds of a particular plant found in SE Asian countries). I'm also a fan of their herbal jelly which actually tastes herbally. The pomelo mango sago is also a popular item here--when I was here last week I saw two people order this separately. Drinks are offered in Medium and Large for cold drinks. Large only for hot drinks. You can customize it by selecting the sugar level and ice level for each drink, though there are some that come with set sweetness. Prices run between $5-8.25 for a drink. The space is pretty small, mainly set up for takeout orders though there are a handful of seats if you want to enjoy your drink there. *On some of the more tropical fruit flavors I don't doubt this is the case across most bubble tea stores, though they do tout their use of all natural flavors and ingredients here at Yi Fang.

Peach tea is really good! Came with a lot of peach bits. Peaches already sweetened, so with my 70% sugar it still taste pretty sweet, so consider this when ordering. I just wish this tea doesn't cost over $8, I would order more often

I ordered 4 teas...all 50-70% sweet. L wanted 70% on his mango pomelo sago cuz he's addicted to sugar. In the end...he agreed...50% would've been plenty sweet.. The Matcha Latte ...I just wanted to try it. Not a big fan of Matcha but I so want to like it...I got it 70% sweet and it needs it .. the Matcha part is very strong.. and just not .....yummy. But it has health benefits..I wouldn't get it if you're looking for something enjoyable like a mango pomelo sago but if you're on a health kick...get a Matcha latte. The Aiyu jelly lemon green tea was a lil sour at 50% sweet. Lemon slice on the bottom with pieces of jelly. We were walking in 80 degree weather with the sun shining so this kinda helped us cool down. The winter melon drink at 50% was really sweet but it does taste good. I drank some of it the next day so even with all the ice melted it was a lil too much.. I'd order it again but at 30%... It took 15 mins or so to make all these drinks but I was busy staring at all the activity right outside the tea shop.....we were able to enjoy our drinks even though it's a small place. I guess customers don't stay too long.. The mango pomelo sago is still one of L's favorite drinks to get ...

Very nice store. Seating spots available on both sides of ordering window. Menu has a variety of drinks. I got the mango pomelo seasonal special drink. Such amazing taste. Gulped the whole large thing in minutes. Delicious taste of mango mixed with grapefruit pomelo. I was able to adjust sugar to 50% but ice level was fixed. Service is pretty fast. Despite being very busy, they made our drinks within few minutes.

The teas here are good but expensive. I had the fruit tea and mango fruit tea at 50% sweetness. That was sweet enough. I preferred the fruit tea over the mango. The mango one was a bit tart. I wasn't too fond of the passionfruit seeds which were plentiful in the fruit tea. There are fresh fruit slices in both.

Didn't realize the Flushing Yi Fang location moved. For sure more accessible now that it's on the main road. Tried out their new drink, Black Tea Latte w Mini Taro at a 50% sugar level. Wasn't really my kind of drink, but I appreciated the rich black tea flavor. Didn't really have that milky taste you'd expect for a drink labeled as a latte. I think I'll stick with the traditional tapioca balls as I wasn't a fan of the taro balls.

Despite its political standings as a company, Yi Fang's drinks are very solid and have increasingly become my go-to because of the consistency in its fresh fruit drinks. I was not impressed by the brown sugar boba hype that garnered a Tiger Sugar-like cult following when they began to create their footprint in the US market several years ago and didn't feel like it was worth going back to try their other drinks. But after living in Taiwan and being spoiled by the abundance of tea shops, Yi Fang has become one of my default go-to tea shops and I can say that I genuinely enjoy the quality of their teas. The great thing about them is that their menu is exactly on par with their Taiwanese counterpart--even the seasonal drinks where some ingredients aren't a commodity in the US. This was one of the more expensive tea shops when it opened back in 2019 but pricing hasn't changed too much since the pandemic and now their pricing is pretty much on par with any other bubble tea place. The new space is much better than their old one in the food court, where people were way too scattered. A few of my staples: * Strawberry Sago Latte - blended fresh strawberries with milk and sago. Seasonal. Highly addictive because it's blended with real strawberries. I recommend this with no sugar (trust me on this) because the blended strawberries, milk, and syrup already give it a balanced taste. * Mango Sago Pomelo Latte - also seasonal in the summer and made with fresh mangoes! * Yi Fang Fruit Tea - most of the drink is slices of fresh fruit but also recommend this with no sugar (30%, at most) because it is light and refreshing. * Longan and Jujube Tea and Longan Ginger Tea (Winter season menu) - I always look forward to these drinks in the winter because the ginger is actually spicy and satisfyingly overpowering so you'll feel zinged and warm. The Logan and Jujube Tea honestly makes me feel like I'm drinking something traditional and boiled for hours with love from my grandma.

Good, peaceful location away from the hustle and hustle of the main street. There are a number of counter seats, as well as two benches. Their fruit tea is always fresh and I appreciate the variety of choices.

Their signature fresh boba is what makes their bubble tea stand out from the rest--the "bubbles" are made from cassava starch otherwise known as tapioca pearls or balls--soaked then cooked and sweetened in a brown sugar syrup. Here they have a whole wok full of these, and they're super soft, incredibly chewy and bouncy, on the sweeter side compared to some other chains, but not too cloyingly so. Their menu consists of a number of a bubble tea and coffee drinks, mostly with milk though some without, you have an option of regular milk, lactaid milk (+$0.50) or oatmilk (+$1.00). Two sizes regular or large (+$2.00) and add-ins for +$0.50 more of the following: Brown Sugar Boba Strawberry Boba Taro Boba Honey Jelly Herbal Jelly Milk Foam Matcha Shot (+$1.00) I got their regular brown sugar boba and it was a treat! Like I mentioned above, the bubbles are sooo good! Prices are on the higher side $7.99 for a regular size, it made me really miss the days of $3.75 regular-sized drinks! After ordering it took about 7-8 minutes to be ready considering the store was really busy. Note: the brown sugar boba milk tea is where they line the cup with brown sugar syrup in addition to adding boba. Technically their standard boba milk tea is without the additional sugar syrup but since the boba are already cooked in brown sugar, there's no true option of getting unflavored boba without brown sugar. Like most boba stores in NYC, the shop isn't very big, just enough space for a small line to form for ordering and then waiting to pick up drinks. All customers are taking these to go, there's no room or seats to linger.

A court injunction barred the US operators from using the brand's trademarks, forcing a viral rebrand to "? Tea" in New York. Headquarters' Allegations: According to court documents, the corporate office revoked the operators' trademark rights after claiming: - Unauthorized Expansions: The US operator opened a Los Angeles location without prior corporate approval. - Unapproved Ingredients: The franchise was sourcing ingredients independently, violating strict corporate quality and recipe standards. - Hiding Profits: Headquarters accused the operators of voiding their contract by allegedly hiding store revenues and bypassing royalty payments. The Franchisee's Perspective: The US operators disputed the claims. Before the courts stepped in, franchisees alleged that corporate HQ had attempted to aggressively renegotiate the ownership equity, attempting to slash the operator's share from 80% to 30% after the US locations proved highly lucrative. Current Status & Rebranding: Due to the legal injunction, the affected stores were forced to scrub the name "Molly Tea" from their storefronts, uniforms, and delivery apps. The operator complied by covering up the logos and using hand-drawn question marks on cups, quickly earning the nickname "? Tea" among fans.
