Cool, chill shop. I used to come here a lot way back. And it's great to see that the quality of drinks is still really good. Service was ok. They're pretty stingy with napkins lol.
12/05/2025 came here for some quick boba but I have came to this location several times, just never wrote a review. Some seating inside and outside. This place is located in the corner. I always order the taro milk with boba (no caffeine). About ~$8, with the size upgrade. The taro is fresh and nicely pounded and the boba is chewy and for me just right. The server is super patient w me. Was baby sitting a boy and he was being over the top. Thank you so much for helping me out. He loves the drinks and the macaroon.
I heard Cupertino has all of the best boba spots and that Fantasia was an original popular spot for boba. Located in the Ranch99 plaza it can get busy and parking may be a little difficult but there's a parking garage across the parking lot from the store. They have some indoor and outdoor seating. I enjoyed my boba and I got their Jasmine Milk Tea with boba (50% sweet), and I got my friends Jasmine Mill Tea regular sweetness to go and dropped it off for them. My friends all got different drinks - grapefruit, white peach, taro, etc and all really enjoyed it! They have a bathroom for customers and some other food and pastries that they sell there. Service was great, very quick and efficient. It was raining that Sunday evening and we were lucky to get a table. Nice spot for people to hang out and meet up.
Most review in Cupertino - the original OG. I tried the Muddy Okinawa with almond milk and 25% sweet. Basically almond milk with brown sugar and the perfect boba! It was not too crowded but they have a steady flow of people all day. Parking is usually not a problem. The staff is pretty nice which is always a plus.
When in the area, always stopping by! Love new strawberry matcha latte! Always great service, friendly staff and plenty of tables and seats... Sometimes, especially during the lunch times on a week it's hard to find the parking...
Taro slushie 4/5 - I like that they use real taro in this drink instead of powder. I prefer a stronger taro taste but this was still good
i've always passed by this spot but never tried it so i decided to try it today. it was honesty pretty good, not bad at all. drinks are not sweet which i liked and tea and milk ratio is good. the boba is also not hard and is a good amount of chewy. service was quick too, drinks came out in a few minutes. there are many tables so you can sit and and do some work there too. the passion one was okay, not my favorite, was a bit too sour for me but taste was still good
I usually don't go to fantasia but I just happened to be in the area. The person who took my order for very knowledgeable. I wanted something similar to hong Kong milk tea, that strong aftertaste, and I was recommended Ceylon milk tea. It is a little bit different from the typical HK milk tea because they use milk and cane sugar, but it satisfied my cravings. I got 25% sweetness so my drink wasn't too sweet which is what I wanted. The boba is soft too and it doesn't contribute too much to the sweetness which is what I like. They changed their cups since the last time I was here.
Came on a Sunday afternoon and the line was out the door! Thankfully, the line moved quickly and we got our drinks very quickly as well. I ordered the Muddy Okinawa Ceylon Milk Tea. The "muddy" part is the brown sugar that they streak on the sides of the cup, which adds that amazing caramelly taste to the drink. The boba was warm still and also had its own brown sugar flavor that mixed perfectly with the milk tea. We didn't expect there to be whipped cream and Oreo crumbs on top too! This is definitely a major dessert drink and we even adjusted to 75% sweetness. I would definitely come back again since it's pretty rare for me to find a place with boba that I really enjoy! Even several hours later sitting in the fridge, the boba is still quite chewy and soft!
Highlights: * Ordered a breakfast sandwich at lunchtime * Food was cooked to order (fresh but not fast) * Nice indoor/outdoor seating * Stroller friendly I chose this place for a quick lunch at Cupertino Village because it was stroller friendly. Not only did it have several tables outside (and shaded around noon) but there were tables inside with enough aisle for a stroller. For context, everyone was eating outside but still appreciated there was room to maneuver a stroller. Food: * Breakfast sandwich (regular bagel) The egg was surprisingly good. It had a lot of flavor. I surmise this is because it was cooked to order. It did take 10 min from the point of ordering to the time I got it. There were a few other drink orders behind me, so likely not a crowd factor (just that it takes some time to cook). While it was worth the wait, I wish they mentioned it was going to take 10-15 min to prepare at the time I ordered. I realize they are known for their teas. If I come by earlier in the day, I would try the teas. read more

Welp... it just didn't do it for me. Maybe it was an off day or maybe they just mucked up my drink?! All of these 5 star reviews have got me questioning if I ordered the right thing. Muddy Okinawa Fresh Milk. This was all the rave and it sounded amazing so I knew I had to try it. I'm rarely ever in this part of town, but I made it point to come to Fantasia to try this very drink. Parking was a nightmare and the line was out the door. BUT... yours truly was right there ready to try this magical boba tea. Have patience because the lines get long and the service is slow. The workers were really sweet, but they clearly needed at least 2 more people behind the counter. They have lots of other teas but they're known for their fresh milk. I adore fresh milk and Okinawa Pearl tea, so I was super excited to get a taste of this. It looked the part but I was left sorely disappointed after taking my first sip. First of all, it was hella watered down. There wasn't much ice in it to begin with, so I don't think it was the ice melting. It tasted like watery milk. It wasn't very sweet even at the maximum sweetness level and even after I mixed it up a bit. I should also note that all of their drinks are non-dairy. I'm not against this, but I do feel like this can affect the taste of milk based teas. This drink wasn't cheap either! Almost $7 without toppings or tip. I mean, maybe this is the going rate nowadays since I don't get boba tea too often. But $7 just seems pricey for something that isn't up to par. So again, maybe this was just an isolated experience given all of their recent 5 star reviews. Based off of this experience alone, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back here again. read more

High quality tea shop that uses fresh ingredients in their drinks. My go-to on a wintery day is their hot taro milk. I love that it's made with real taro and not the purple powdery mix-in that's commonly used by other places. Service is always quick and friendly even when they're busy. The cafe ambiance indoors is pleasant with muted colors and no loud music which makes it a good environment to work or study. read more
One of the original OG milk tea spots. I have lots of high school memories and it sill feels so nostalgic being here as an adult. I'm still enjoying their summer series drinks, super yummy and tart. These jarred desserts are also to die for. Don't buy them or you won't be able to stop. Customer service was excellent despite being just one guy in the front. They substituted the some single tables with longer tables for study groups. I love that! I hope they continue to stick around for the next decade in my life. read more

Favorite for hot boba teas. The pearls stay perfectly chewy even in the hot drinks. I recommend the Hot Red Bean Milk Tea, or Iced Green Mango AiYu if you want to cool down. read more

I grew up coming to Fantasia, this location and the one on Santana Row. I used to swear up and down that this, the og boba store of South Bay, deserved its reputation, but now I'm not so sure. The quality at least the day I went had dropped to nearly be unrecognizable and the prices frustratingly mirror the higher end of boba prices at the moment without anything to back those numbers up. Oolong Milk Tea w/ Boba (2.5/5): The tea flavor was fine, but I was super disappointed by the texture of the boba. It was mushy and overcooked on the outside, while being simultaneously hard and undercooked in the center. My guess was that batch had cooked in too high a temperature. read more

Parking is easy to find. Noise level is average. I ordered the Lychee jasmine milk tea (5/5): super flavorful. Not too sweet yet no too bitter. I got 50% sweetness. The lychee pieces and honey boba added a really enjoyable texture. The drink was made super fast. Google/apple pay is accepted. Overall Fantasia is a good boba place and I would come back here. read more
My favorite drinks here are the (hot) Taro Fresh Milk with boba and the Grass Jelly Black Tea with boba, both of which I've thoroughly enjoyed growing up. Prices have definitely hiked significantly in the last few years, so I don't consider their prices to be too affordable and only go here on occasion. Be sure to sign up for their Fivestars rewards to get the weekly free size upgrade! -Lychee Frosted Delight w/ Lychee Jelly: 5/5 An iced lychee smoothie with vanilla cream on too. I like adding lychee jelly to double the lychee experience. With the free size upgrade Fivestars deal, the large-sized drink came out to be $7.70... which is higher than I'd like. Went at a nonbusy time (noon) and my drink was made very quickly. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. read more
I've been to Fantasia Coffee & Tea a few times now. I recently ordered the Muddy Okinawa Milk Tea with boba and have to say that it is my favorite drink I've tried there! I am personally a huge fan of brown/black sugar boba drinks, so this was the perfect choice. The tea had a great balance of sweet and creamy flavors, and the boba was also perfect in my opinion: not too chewy but not too soft. So good!! I went on a weekend afternoon/evening. At the time I went, they had just run out of boba and were making more. The server let us know and it was only about a 10 minute wait for the boba. It wasn't very crowded at the time. There were only two people ahead of us who had already ordered and were waiting for their drinks, so there was no line and we were able to order right away. The staff were very nice and friendly, and the atmosphere was really calm and relaxing. Note that this place is kind of on the expensive side, but I think it is really good. They also sell macarons, mochi, and other desserts! I haven't tried them yet but they always look so good, so I'll have to go back and try them sometime soon. I had a wonderful experience at Fantasia and would definitely return again. If you're looking for a delicious milk tea/boba drink, this is a great place to try! read more
Drinks (5/5) I visit here when I can for the Okinawa Milk Tea. This is different from the Okinawa Muddy Milk Tea with Pearls which comes with Oreo and brown sugar, more like a brown sugar milk from The Alley. As a big fan of strong tea-tasting milk tea drinks, the Okinawa Milk Tea is my go-to. My other go-to here is the Hot Taro Milk Tea, which in my opinion is one of the best taro hot beverages in the area. Their brown sugar boba is delicious and chewy! They also have some desserts available in their display which I haven't tried. Price (5/5) Pretty affordable price considering the area. This place is one of the "OG" more affordable pmt spots, along with Tea Era. Don't expect this spot to be similar to YiFang or another newer boba spot. Wait Time (5/5) Generally no wait time. You may experience a 10min wait on weekends. Ambience (4/5) Not a picture-worthy spot, but there is a decent amount of seating inside (~five tables seating 2-4 each, and a long bar that can seat ~8) along with four tables outside. Service (5/5) No concerns. Parking/Access (5/5) Situated in the busy Cupertino Village, it's generally an easy process to find a parking space in one of the many parking areas/covered parking lot in the vicinity. It may be more difficult on weekends and around dinnertime. read more
Since my last review, which was about 11 years ago. I decide to give this place a second shot. Since I felt my first review was a bit harsh. I ordered the standard jasmine green milk tea with boba. I have to say that my standards haven't changed. I live in SoCal, in the San Gabriel Valley where there is a boba store at every corner. There are so many choices! And if you run a boba store, you have to bring your A game! Anyway, I was still disappointed with the drink I received. The drink was still milky, and lack tea flavor. The boba wasn't fresh, taste like it was made when they opened in the morning. I would skip the boba. The drink taste better without. Besides that, the boba cost is at a premium here! Holy smokes! $6+tax for a drink!!? I guess if you live in Cupertino, you probably work at the tech industry and are used to paying these prices. I don't know who was working there today (8/12 dinnertime) but they were the nicest and most patient workers amidst a huge rush of orders!! I felt so bad I had so many questions but they never made me feel rushed or stupid, and not only answered them all but made sure I liked the drink that I got (which was delicious!*) *I got the Taro Milk with taro balls as a topping. There's no tea or caffeine in this but they use real taro, fresh milk, and their taro balls are the best cubic mochi like texture! Favorite taro balls / mochi boba topping in the bay While not all their drinks are to my taste, their standout options (imo taro milk tea, jasmine milk tea) and best in class toppings (fresh red bean, mung bean, TARO BALLS!!) + the service makes this a very appreciated establishment read more

Yes, Fantasia has plenty of indoor seatings and WiFi as well.
Can you order take out by phone? I'm trying to avoid the Grubhub style services to give more directly to the restaurants, but many places only let you order ahead through those services.
