House Vietnamese Iced Coffee w boba
    Hieu L.

This time I went for their Vietnamese house coffee with Boba. I honestly could've gone for the less sweet option. It had a nice strong coffee flavor and the Boba was perfectly chewy. This place is pretty reasonable for the size and for what you're getting. I decided to order through their app ahead of time and everything was made and waiting for me. They're also famous for their crème brûlée drink, but I feel like that one is more of a dessert type drink rather than a functional coffee or Matcha option.

The jasmine green milk tea was delicious! Authentic flavors and 50% sweet was just right. Boba was nice and chewy, the way I like it. I arrived shortly before closing so the chairs were being put away but I can definitely see this spot being a great place to chill with other boba lover. I really enjoyed the modern design and laid-back vibes of the space. They had some interesting seasonal and speciality drinks but this time I opted for a simple classic. Definitely trying them next time I'm in the area!

Chewy chewy boba!!! I got the Tropical Passionfruit Tea + honey boba. Less sugar and less ice. Delivered to me through DoorDash. Great drink overall, very refreshing and not too sour. The boba was perfectly chewy: not too dense or mushy. I'm a big fan of the boba consistency! Would definitely recommend. However though what cost them a star was that nothing was memorable about the drink. This drink meets all the standards, but I can get the same thing at many other places. Would love to see more incorporation of cute packaging or interesting hints of unique flavors.

Refreshing teas and good boba! Tried two fruit teas here, both of which were refreshing with good tea flavor. The boba had a good chew but wasn't mind blowing in any way. Overall, I'd love to come back to try more drinks! Drinks came out super quick. The place itself is pretty spacious with a good amount of seating. It looked very clean and modern!

Edit: the manager of this location reached out to me and apologized for this oversight and said it would not happen again. They are a family business after all. I greatly appreciated that so I will revert back to my usual 5 stars. They do imo have the greatest tea in all the bay. I truly hope this is resolved as she promised it would be. PARENTS BEWARE- I love this places tea but today I was in there, (thankfully alone), usually my 12 year old son is with me. I was waiting for my drink and hear this lyric plain as day "your p****y is a palace and you're crazy in the head". Every single adult had a look of shock then they all looked at the floor and mind you there was a young boy about 10 or so, a younger child... Excuse me?! This is a place of business not an adult store!!! If my kid had been with me, I'd have pitched a public fit! However I was so shocked and then disgusted that I only called. And now writing here because I wouldn't want anyone else to be in that position if your CHILD hearing that vulgar garbage. And no, my kid does not hear that language anywhere else, nor should he. Idk if I'll go back because I don't want to hear that and I for sure don't want my kid to hear that! And that's a shame because they do have amazing tea but no thanks on introducing my kid to basically porn in a song. Signed - a ticked off mother

Another patron's Creme Brulee Pearl Lattes have me wanting to come back soon to try this.

Clean, chic boba spot in a shopping center. Well executed drinks and seasonal specials. Nice outdoor seating. Kiddo wanted boba and I wanted coffee, so Boba Bliss's many fruit, tea, and coffee boba options seemed like a good compromise. She got a seasonal Mango Milk Bar with honey boba (less sweet, less ice); I got the Stumptown Cold Brew with milk, at 0% sweet with honey boba added. Drink ingredients were flavorful and fresh; the lower sweetness options were just enough for us. However, one day when we feel more like a dessert, I want to come try the creme brûlée boba drink -- of the 20ish drinks that came out before ours, about half were creme brûlée, so it seems like the drink to get!

(Overall: B) - Definitely a tea place more catered to those interested in milk-based than fruit-based drinks. I had the passionfruit tea, which had a nice blend of fruit flavors without large chunks of fruit taking over the entire cup. The Mountain View location is also in a convenient shopping center, with spacious seating for an afternoon work session. Would recommend. Pistachio jasmine Dream and Ube taro milk
    Peter L.

Frequent flyer here since I live about 5mins away. I've been here a handful of times now and have tried a number of drinks by now. Today I opt for one of their new seasonal items, the Pistachio Jasmine dream as well as their Ube taro milk. Pistachio Jasmine dream - 5/5, I absolutely love floral drinks. Some may disagree and think floral drinks taste like soap, but I thought the floral-ness of the jasmine complimented the pistachio cream so well. It was so creamy, light and not overly sweet. I opt for regular sweet which I thought was fine. I think a tad less than regular sweet would have been perfect. I added boba and they seem to get the pearls right here. Right amount of sweetness with good bouncy QQ texture. Ube taro milk - 4/5, personally wasn't my favorite. I will say the ube flavor was well-executed. Didn't taste any artificial flavoring. There were real taro bits blended with purple yams(?). However, the ube was quite thick. Texture was interesting and not my cup of tea. The ambiance is nice. Its well lit with great decor. Staff are always friendly.

Found another good boba place by chance after having lunch at the nearby restaurant. They have a nice new interior, with two kiosk for ordering. They have the usual staple flavors plus more. I just got the Assam black tea with foam and boba. The boba is good. Soft to chew. The tea is just right, a good middle strength. It was busy during Sunday lunch time. So the wait time is longer. There is outdoor seating which is a good place to just chill and relax while sipping boba tea.

I got the taro milk tea which had natural taro and purple yam in it. The flavor was subtle; I personally like mine richer but I do like that it had some taro chunks in it. Seems like their regular milk tea is better so I'll try that next time.

Went to Target at Mountain View and my bestie said we should go Boba Bliss which was nearby. Her recommendation was excellent! FOOD 5/5 The brown sugar boba milk was so good! I have not been drinking brown sugar milk every where since they have been mid in many places even at those where I used to like. The boba was so soft and fresh. The drink was great, and unlike those watered down version elsewhere. SERVICE 5/5 Staffs were friendly and helpful. Drinks were made right, more than right ^^ AMBIANCE 5/5 Such a chill place and I really like the light fixture here. I wish there is a Boba Bliss in Palo Alto!!

Clean, cute store, and attentive staff as well as a digital kiosk which I think is super important like damn don't just leave me to figure everything out I have questions! Love the pistachio featured drinks, also love the banana milk options and I'm excited to try more! Oh also the lid with the connected little sip hole cover is a nice touch, never seen that before

There are a couple of tables in the inside and a lot outside for you to sit! The cashier at the counter was very friendly and attentive. We waited around 10 minutes for our drinks, where we were able to take our sandwiches from the refrigerated portion of the case. It seems like there are sandwiches you can order where they will make it for you in the back, which I would like to try next time. Between me and my partner, here is what we got: * Sakura iced coffee: this exceeded my expectations! I thought the Sakura flavor came through without being too sweet and surprisingly the coffee did not overpower it and complemented it very well. * Banana matcha: this might be one of the first banana matchas I have had that did not taste artificial. I really like how they give you a small spoon shovel so you can eat some of the pudding top. So cute! * Egg sando: very yummy and they used the perfect amount of mayo. It was a light, delightful bite. * Strawberry sando: now this is the overall winner that stole my heart! This might be the best strawberry sando I had and I was surprised! Their strawberries were not only fresh and crisp, but the deep sweet vanilla bean flavor you got from the whipped cream was phenomenal! I usually do not care for strawberry sandos but this one got my attention! Overall, awesome place in Mountain View!

I really appreciate the selection of drinks they have, ranging from fun flavored lattes like tiramisu and burnt brown sugar to matchas, hojichas, and classic cafe staples like americanos and flat whites. Everything I've had here has been delicious and always hits the spot. They also have a range of food and toasts you can order. I recently got the ricotta and honey toast, which was delicious and light! Heads up, though, as expected, they do run low on stock later in the day. I came around 2 PM, and there were maybe four baked goods left. Overall, it's a great choice, and if you're in the area, definitely check them out.

Some of them don't even go to any other bakery besides this one and as such, I was excited to try their pastries. I got a combination of both basic items such as their croissant and their more decorative items such as their Paris Brest. The fundamental difference between American pastries and their French counterparts is that the latter are much less heavy and sweet and in that sense, Maison Alyzee does a good job. However, that quality really isn't that important to me unless I'm making baked goods at home or having them at a friend's. When it comes to a bakery, I care more about nuanced flavors, tastes, and textures and in those aspects, this place didn't really blow me away. To put it this way, I would rather travel to Midwife and the Baker and have one of their croissants at a cheaper price even if it may be more of a sugar bomb. I was actually contemplating knocking off another star because of how much the pastries cost an arm and a leg (almost $10+ for some of the individual items). In the end, I decided against it because this bakery is the first I've visited where the pastries both look nice AND taste good (Paris Baguette and Alexander's Patisserie, take note). Overall, this place is good if you are looking for pastries that both look and taste nice. Perhaps my palate is just not sophisticated enough but I just don't get any unique taste that warrants them being the most authentic French patisserie in the area. Personally, I would visit Midwife, Craftsman, and (soon) Arsicault in Palo Alto to get a more "quality' pastry.

Okay but... a hotel coffee shop with good matcha? That's the plot twist I didn't know I needed…read more We stopped here on my way out of Santa Clara heading to San Francisco -- it's conveniently close to a bunch of other spots, and since it's tucked inside a hotel, parking was ridiculously easy. (Underrated luxury.) Now, the hotel itself? Visually... a moment. It looked like someone invested serious money into it, but the design felt a little space-meets-startup-meets-what's-happening-here. Some elements felt elevated, others felt a bit makeshift. I genuinely couldn't tell what the theme was -- futuristic? celestial? boutique-on-a-budget? I'm still processing. The front desk team was clearly well-trained and knowledgeable -- they had every answer, every stat, every rate breakdown ready. But the warmth? Missing. I was hoping for a little storytelling since I'd never heard of the hotel before, and instead got a very matter-of-fact "we've been here five years" energy. Efficient, yes. Inviting, not quite. But let's talk about why you're really here: the coffee shop. Completely different vibe. Two people working, both genuinely happy, welcoming, and quick. We ordered a latte and a matcha to go -- total was about $22, which made me blink for a second -- but then I tasted the matcha. Oh. This wasn't the overly sweet, dusty-green situation you sometimes get. It tasted clean. Real. High-quality. The kind of matcha that feels intentional. I love Firehouse in Marin, but this? This was closer to serious coffee roaster-level quality. Smooth, organic-tasting, beautifully balanced. You could tell they care about what they're serving. Branding was strong, the space was cute, and I could absolutely see myself sitting there with my laptop pretending I'm writing something important. We grabbed ours to go, but it had that easy, airy, "stay awhile" energy. Would I book the hotel? Jury's still out. They don't have an in-house spa and mentioned bringing in third-party services for certain amenities, which made it feel a little less full-service than I expected. Would I go back for the coffee shop? Without hesitation. Delicious drinks, easy parking, quick service, and a vibe that actually makes you want to come back. Sometimes the side character steals the show -- and in this case, it's 100% the matcha.

Today, I was in the mood for something more than a salad (much as I wanted to preset what I had the first time coming here, I made a concerted effort to order something else...), thus I chose the Forager Flatbread. It took less time to make this time (roughly about five minutes after ordering), and when it came out, I marveled at how it looked like a work of art! Just beautiful! Each piece of herbed formage blanc flatbread had a nice, crunchy bottom (but not blackened) and a slightly tanginess, with a a good amount of "hen-of-the-wood" mushrooms, sweet roasted garlic and a bed of arugula. My, oh, my! My first bite was a multi-level extravaganza! The crunch of the bread, followed by the aroma of the herbs and arugula, then the saltiness of the cheese, the sweetness of the roasted garlic, the earthiness of the mushrooms - all came together as just a wonderful work of culinary art! This being my first time eating today, my saliva glands just fired off at first bite, causing a bit of intense pain from too much saliva shooting out. But, seriously, this was a very delicious entree, that I enjoyed from start to finish! Bravo for this second joyous experience!
