    Grilled Lamb Chops / 'Paidakia'

Solid Greek spot in Bethlehem with a warm, darker ambiance. We started with the cheese flambé, which was rich, bold, and full of flavor. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly and easily the standout of the night. The gyros were fine--nothing special. Cocktails were excellent and definitely on the stronger side.

We had dinner out and a huge menu. Several Greek wines and cocktails. Everyone was satisfied with their drinks. Very refreshing. A few non alcoholic drinks for those doing dry January. We also had sword fish Slovakia, these delicious taverna chips and spin. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. Overall very good meal. They stay busy and got us in and out. Probably a good idea to make reservation.

Grilled shrimp and a light cream sauce with rice and tomatoes

This place is amazing! Wonderful food and great service. The grilled octopus was cooked to perfection. The grilled shrimp was pared with the light cream sauce was truly delicious. I would give this place 10 more stars if I could. On a Thursday tables are pretty full and happy customers all around. This could beat a Michelin restaurant. Thank you for a great dinner

What a great meal! We enjoyed everything we ordered. Modern clean Greek restaurant. Quite nice decor. Our server was busy on a Sunday night but everyone pitches in to help. Nice to see! 4 Stars because Manager & waiter asked if wanted more pita with our 3 dips. We said of course! Never mentioned charging for it. Come on... it's not an inexpensive place no need to do this to customers. Management needs to change this practice ASAP!

    Mushroom pasta

I was in town visiting and chose a random place to eat dinner . I'm so glad I made that choice because this place was amazing ! Food and service 10/10 . I had the octopus appetizer and the mushroom pasta , both were flavorful and the pasta was cooked to perfection . The atmosphere was so cute and romantic . Their drinks were delicious too and I can't wait to come back and try other things !

The food is good. But it's too crowded. It is loud in there with all of the noise bouncing off the hard surfaces.

We made a reservation after giving the place a call a few hours beforehand and being advised it was a good idea. I didn't understand why, since we were almost the only people in there when we arrived--then, suddenly, ten minutes later it was packed! So the reservation was definitely a good idea. Despite how busy they were, our waiter was excellent and very attentive (I'm pretty sure his nickname was Shaq, he gave us his full first name but I completely blanked on it after a few pounders of Montucky's delicious brew). I had the pretzel bites and full-size Caesar salad, and it was more than enough food for me. My friends each got different items; the pierogies looked delicious (maybe it is obvious that I am a fan of appetizers; it's my favorite section of any restaurant menu). Some of us weren't able to finish everything, as the portions were much larger once you started on them than when first eye-balling them. Overall, I greatly enjoyed this visit. I was disappointed at first that my friends wanted to go somewhere other than where we'd been last time, but all concerns melted away once we got to our seats. Bethlehem Barrel & Drafthouse offers some cool atmosphere along with a good selection of drinks, both beer and liquor, and friendly service (thanks again, Shaq! And my apologies if I got your name wrong!).

You walk in, you are at the bar area,But, there is a hostess stand there if you are interested in grabbing a booth to order food. Which is what we have always done and is what we will now never do again because service from this 1 particular shorter waitress is awful. After she dropped our food to the table we didn't see her for an hour despite trying our best to flag her down and asking the other waitress to get her for us so we could have our bill. The owner was working harder than this waitress collecting our empty dishes, asked us if we needed anything, cleaning tables( our waitress removed a used empty glass when she seated us) and I have no clue where she went or what she was doing that while time that she failed to see if everything was okay, we needed anything/refills or were ready to the check. Instead, since my daughter is a regular, she gave us a tip to sit at the bar and order food. Service is much better. Every time we've gone there the food has always been good. This time I got a chicken philly cheesesteak and it was delicious also! Can't say much about the crowd. It's definitely a spot for the younger groups to hang out since the college is so close. The bad thing about that is that they don't respect you at your booth if you are in one just for food. They stand right in front of your table in groups talking and you have zero privacy and it's actually a bit suffocating. When they finally did all move for a moment, I could finally feel the air circulation. This was only around 5:30pm. Service- still awful Food- great Atmosphere- depends what you're looking for

We ordered a mix of appetizers, including the cheesesteak egg rolls, breaded mozzarella half moons, housemade G's sauce wings, and the grilled cheese with fries. Everything came out hot and fresh. The wings were the standout, great flavor with G's sauce, which is like a peppery hot sauce. It's not super spicy, but it does have a slight kick. First time I visited was for lunch. As soon as I saw the menu, I knew I needed to order the Wild Scotch Egg (difficult to find). I also had the half portion of Fish and Chips. The Wild Scotch Egg consisted of hard boiled egg and sausage, which was panko fried, sitting on Guinness fondue and crisp arugula, topped with Parmesan crisps. I really enjoyed this. The outer breading was light and satisfyingly crispy, while the egg and sausage interior was expertly cooked, tender and well seasoned. Cheesy fondue sauce was rich and creamy. Parmesan crisp was a nice, tasty touch. The beer battered Fish and Chips were also yummy. Fish was succulent, perfectly flaky and flavorful, while the Steak Fries were wonderfully crunchy, full of true potato taste. I knew I needed to return in order to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding, one of my all time favorite desserts. This was served warm, with Earl Grey tea date sponge cake, paired with sweet sticky toffee sauce and clotted cream. So deliciously mouthwatering and decadent! Service was good. The waiter was warm and easy to talk with. Everything came out in a timely manner. Prices were quite reasonable. I'm glad I came across this place to have my fill of some British classics!
