This is an odd but fun place. There seem to be two owners, a man and a woman. There are only 4 seats inside and a handful of barstools and high tables outside, so most people will end up standing. They have a really big selection of vermuths, menu is written on the window but we got on better just pointing at things. House vermouth with soda was something like 1.50euro. Very tasty, and interesting range of things to try. I would definitely go back, we went twice in three days and easily could have gone again. No published hours here, on their FB page, or in the bar. We first visited on Saturday about 6pm and as we were leaving I got someone to translate asking if they'd be open either of the next two days. Monday, definitely not. Sunday "probably open around 2? Maybe earlier, maybe later? Probably close around 6." We went around 5 on Sunday and didn't leave until close to 7, so it seems up to the whims of the owners.

Vermouth can actually be a bit harder to find in Seville than where it's more trendy like in Barcelona or Madrid. We stopped in for a quick vermouth late afternoon on Black Friday. They were doing a special to get in on the fun: a discount on their house Black Vermouth for Black Friday. The pour was generous, and it was a nice atmosphere on the plaza. There were about a dozen vermouth choices ranging from $1.50 to $4 for the priciest aged reserve.

The restaurant was chaotic and very overstimulating; granted, it was Palm Sunday and the beginning of Semana Santa. Unsure where to sit or stand, we shuffled around before we somehow found a standing spot at the bar. We ordered a vino manzanilla to drink as we perused the menu to order. Did not expect the vino to be so strong, but it def kick started our appetite. We ordered the espinaca con garbanzo, merluza y gambas, and choco Fritos. All which were simple, but very delicious! The choco fritos were plump and fried to a crispy perfection. The espinaca was flavorful and rich. But my favorite had to be the merluza y gambas. It came out piping hot! The fish and shrimp were so meaty, tender and the oil soaked up so well with the bread they had given us. We wanted to return to try some other items on their menu, but never got around to it. This would be a spot we would return to though! --most of the staff aren't very fluent in English, so speaking Spanish gives you way more leverage
