Omg this place is sooo GREAT!!!! We came here for the first time this past weekend & our experience was incredible. I did not get our waitress name but she was very sweet, informative about the Cuban food. She spoke Spanish, we spoke it back, understanding each other with different words and dialects. We basically ordered the same thing, Cuban Sandwich with fries and Maduro Fritos 100/100 all of it!!! The Cortadito Cubano was delicious, they only have regular milk and evaporated milk so keep that in mind (for my dairy free people) The ambience of the restaurant is so pretty & huge. Came here looking for an alternate restaurant similar to La Maginal and decided to stop by and try it. The take out and eat in is $17.99. While at La Marginal is $25 (big price difference. Reason I came to Yodaly Bakery. Their menu consist of mainly pork, ribs, pieces of small chickens, white, yellow, and congri/whit/brown rice, baked beans. Dessert, not much available. Optional of cookies or cake pieces. Wish the meat had more seasoning (flavor) as most Spanish food does; but, not this one. At least during my visit. I may try and comeback sometime in the future where I don't have to worry about consuming too much carbohydrates as the main dishes. If you want to save about $7 from La Maginal (next door), you can come here but selection is limited with pork as their main selection and other small meats. Service was good but you mainly have to stand up from your table to ask a question since they don't often go around the tables due to working at the cash register and behind the counter. If you are looking for authentic Cuban food and pastries this is the place for you. The ambience is amazing and the service was great. They also have Café con leche. We got there just in time for the lunch buffet and have it a try. The food was well seasoned and it was very authentic. Located right next to La Marginal restaurant is a tucked away Cuban bakery and restaurant. They had many pastries and cakes to choose from but their main flavors are guava, coconut and cheese. They also serve food and Cuban coffee. Pastries were flaky and buttery but what I thought was whip cream on the cakes was meringue. I was not a fan. The service was great and they greeted us right away. Might have to come back another day to try their restaurant. read more

I went this evening and had the Cubano sandwich. As before when I've had Cubano sandwiches the sandwich was great. Maybe Cubano sandwiches are the equivalent of bean and cheese tacos among Cuban restaurants--an item no Cuban restaurant screws up. The service could have been better even if the lady doubling as a cashier and server was the sole worker upfront and spoke little English. She was slow bringing my tea order and never offered a refill later. I was the only diner in the restaurant probably because others who would otherwise be there were at home preparing for Thanksgiving tomorrow. Maybe a language barrier contributed to the aforementioned oversight. I'm not Spanish-fluent and maybe she didn't know how to offer a tea refill in English. I gave her a moderate tip since she wasn't rude and I understand she speaks little English, but would have tipped her more and given the restaurant a five-star review had she followed up. Regardless of language barriers, I much appreciate when after being served in restaurants I'm not forgotten about. read more

I found this bakery as a new recommended place to eat. I always like to try international food. Turned out it is more than a bakery, they have a menu plus a buffet. When I arrived on a Sunday afternoon I didn't see the buffet seems they have certain times. I ordered the Cuban sandwich which is huge! And absolutely delicious! Ordering the pastelitos was a struggle even though I am trying to practice my Spanish. I understood they only have cheese, guava and coconut... needless to say I ordered one of each... which I ended up seeing some sort of red jam? In the coconut one. Oh well... don't even know what that was but I would eat it again! The cheese and guava was so good too! The restaurant is spacious and it does feel Cuban, from interacting with the girls at the counter to everything written in Spanish plus the aromas of the food! We went there today and the pastelito de guayaba con queso was amazing! The flaky pastry felt like it melted in your mouth. We also tried the beef empanada and that was extremely delicious as well.
