This Colombian restaurant was amazing!! From the fresh fruit juice to the freshly made dishes. Everything was incredibly good. I can't wait to come back and try the other dishes that caught my attention. I ordered the grilled chicken and my husband ordered the bistec a caballo. Drinks we ordered mango juice and a lemonade. I loved the lemonade it was so good and they literally made it on the spot. The service was incredibly fast and attentive. We were in and out and the waitress was so nice!

I'm so glad we made the time to visit this establishment. The waitress was very sweet and service was fast. I never realized there was so much foot traffic there. The food was amazing. We got the Bandeja Paisa, Yuca, chicken empanada, and an extra chicharron. The green sauce and crema was very good! We also tried the Colombiana drink which was so good! 10/10 recommended

Brand new Colombian restaurant! Appears to be owned and branched off of Sabor de Sanchez restaurants around here in SA. I tried the chicken and beef empanadas and they were sooo good! I love the Aji salsa that comes with it too. Fried fresh to order it took about 8 mins. Restaurant was clean, organized, played Colombian music, and very friendly. Could be a language barrier since it appeared the very nice cashier was mostly Spanish speaking and the POS clover machine is in Spanish. Only complaint I have is that I wish I would've gotten more Aji cause 1 sauce cup for 4 was not enough for me. I will be back to try more!

I saw this restaurant across the street while stopped at a red light on the way home from my doctor…read moreappointment. It is the #2 location on Culebra Road. My son and I both like Colombian food based on visits to a competitor that we have gone to many times closer to our house. When I mentioned this place to him, he said we should try it out soon. Today was the day. The first thing I noticed was the size of the dining room. It was roomy with several tables that were appropriately spread out. The decor is attractive with eye catching art painted on the white walls. The tables all have a splash of color on them, as well. Altogether is creates a bright and cheery atmosphere. We were very comfortable. I also noticed that the one television on the far wall was showing Univision and the music being played was in Spanish. I really like the music of a restaurant to reflect the nationality of the cuisine. Our server was an extremely helpful young man. He helped us with the menu. Unlike what is stated in other reviews, the food is described in english. Unfortunately, there are some items that don't translate. Those are the ones I needed help with. We both ended up ordering the same thing. It was lengua in a delicious tomato sauce served with french fries, avocado slices, white rice, salad, and a fried plantain patty. The amount of food on the plates was absolutely outrageous, but we managed to get pretty danged close to clean plates. The flavors were really nice. There was a huge squeeze bottle of Salsa Colombiana (I think that's what he called it) and another with Salsa tartara, the Columbian version of tartar sauce. It was amazing. It was creamy and savory without that sweet pickle taste American folk put on seafood. For drinks, I had a jugo de pina. My son had one made with passion fruit. I heard them being made fresh in the kitchen. They blended the fresh fruit with some water or milk and ice. Mine was really refreshing. It was served in those giant iced tea glasses some places use. There was a lady and her son at another table. I listened as they ordered in Spanish. They asked almost the same questions as we did, so being fluent in Spanish must not mean you would understand the Colombia specific food vocabulary. As we were paying our bill, the lady was pointing to everything on her plate asking "What is this?" in Spanish. I found that a little humorous, as the explanations when ordering were pretty good. My son and I had not problems recognizing the foods on our plate based on what we had heard. On our way home, we passed by the Bandera location. My son pointed it out to me. I don't remember ever seeing it there, but my son says he knew about it. That made me wonder why we frequented the competitor on Tezel where we like the food, but felt uncomfortable being packed in so close in the tiny dining room. In the truck, my son was already telling me what he planned to eat next time. There will definitely be a next time. I need to try their arepas and empanadas, as well as some other jugos.

They do not speak English so it was hard. Nothing is in…read moreEnglish so you just smile & point lol. I ordered an empanada carne & I'm not going to say it was bad but I wouldn't try it again. It was just too much meat & the crust was not for me. Do not let this review discourage you, try them out.
