Arthur's Terrace is located inside Eden resort. We had breakfast here one day and had the buffet. They offer a lot of options for the buffet: Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, two different types of potatoes, waffles, blintzes, cereals, fresh fruit, muffins, bagels, toast, juices and coffee. There's a lot to choose from, I hope I'm not leaving anything out. The price is reasonable, and I would eat here again. read more

My son was able to have cereal and try a variety of things. With two adult entrees kids eat for $5. Nice inside and clean. Staff was attentive. My mom loved their coffee. Went to this restaurant for dinner during our stay, as they promoted the buffet to be amazing..well dinner buffet was very disappointing. Only two entrees, 2 sides one was a potato and one was a vegetable that I couldn't begin to identify. Salad bar portion was ok. Deserts weren't anything to get excited about, mainly cakes. I went here with some family that were staying at the hotel. There were not too many options for food, but I ended up ordering the prime rib. It was tasty and I ended up taking half of it home. The prices ranged from average to a bit more pricey. The service was alright at first. It took a bit for someone to come to our table, but when they did, the waitress was great and kept checking in on us. read more

We are a group of friends who have used commercial brunch offerings for celebrating many of our favorite festive occasions that included birthdays, Mother's Days, and most certainly Thanksgiving. While we value other occasions, we've always placed great emphasis on personal birthdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations and for those, we enjoyed sparing no expense on the venues. We're only pointing this out to say that we have tasted many, many celebration brunches over more than a decade. So, this is Thanksgiving 2023, about a month ago, and we chose to go to the Eden Resort. Several of us have always enjoyed starting with a few appetizers, of which there were many, and following that with a bowl or two of what had for a long time been termed as AWARD WINNING lobster bisque at Eden. Whow!!!! Big salty surprise here! Typical of canned food, and canned soups in particular, this bisque reeked of saturated salt. As an alternate, someone pointed to the tomato soup that was placed right next to the godawful bisque but another one noted that it tasted like a ruined, oversalted spaghetti sauce, not a soup, and there was no spaghetti in sight. By this time, everything that the other appetizers did to evoke a pleasant culinary experience was ruined by these dreadful, appalling, salty canned-like food abominations. Of course, there is no Thanksgiving without a nice piece of freshly roasted turkey and our expectations were high. Before going to the carving station, we reviewed the other food table that had a number of chafing dishes, with one of them labeled turkey. This dish had a dried up Diner-standard roll of processed white turkey meat that no one even tried but it also had some bits of finely cubed dark meat. Since several of us like dark turkey meat, we tried that only to encounter another hair-raising salt-mine experience. The bits were all dried up and, like the bisque, salt saturated to the point of wanting to spit it out. Well, all was not lost, we thought, since there was still the carving station to keep hope alive but high expectations were quickly dashed here as well by observing the process. There was a pile of turkey extremities, wings, drum-sticks, lots of skin, burned skin, lots of burned pieces, gristle and tendons. A carver was frantically tearing this apart to debone, making little piles that included the burned stuff, the skins, the leg tendons and gristle; this person was cutting all this up into small pieces as best as he could, as if to prepare for doggie dishes, and trying to give this to people: disgusting. No new turkey seemed to be available and this was only at about 2:30 PM. We opted out of that unappetizing choice and decided to try the prime rib. There were only some greasy pieces left with some overdone meat, so we asked whether or not there was a new piece coming. Somewhat to our surprise, the answer was yes and a new roast appeared in a very short time. The piece was large enough to have various degrees of doneness and we received nice cuts of medium rare roast that all looked great. We are finally back at our table, showing off to each other our prized pieces that looked good and were roasted well. At this point, we probably shouldn't have been surprised that the cheer was going to be very short-lived about this prime rib. Apparently, the prime had gone out of this prime rib years ago and the cuts might as well have been some chewy, inedible piece of beef gristle. We hadn't had beef this tough in years and certainly not at a purportedly well-regarded, well rated restaurant. To close this awfully disappointing day, a ruined Thanksgiving, it is easy to say that our server was attentive and helpful but he had nothing to do with food and could do very little to assuage the dire, despicable food selection conditions at Eden, a restaurant that prided itself for many years as a place of choice for celebrating any occasion. read more

My family and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast here. I wish we would have come on a Sunday, bc I wasn't aware that it was the only day they have their omelette bar. However the other items they had on their buffet were delicious. They had a wide array of breakfast foods that included: scrambled eggs, eggs benedict, bacon, sausage, home fries, pancakes, various danishes, cinnamon rolls, various kinds of donuts, several types of fruit, steel cut oats, gravy, mini muffins, biscuits, cereal, and bagels. That is what I can remember, but I know that I am probably leaving many items out. Everything was warm, fresh, and tasty! If we come back to Lancaster again next year, we will definitely come here for breakfast! Make sure you go on Sunday so you can do the omelette bar. That's the only day they have it. read more

My wife and I went to Arthur's terrace for dinner last night. Long story short. Service was great , apps were great. Main course of stuffed shrimp for me and chicken Parmesan for my wife were not food. Shrimp was overcooked and chicken was pressed flat with no flavor sauce on it. We had a coupon. If I could give this place zero stars I would . My wife and I staying with friends at the Eden Resort had dinner here the night we arrived. My wife ordered prime rib it was leftover from last nite warmed up on the grill ( it had the grill marks on it ) Three of us ordered the shrimp alfredo there was about 10'pieces of penne and 2 shrimp . I can't say I was expecting a lot from Arther's Terrace restaurant which was good because it failed to deliver. The waiter was nice but seemed to be overworked. The buffet was slim pickings for $30. The menu food portions were ok for the price but average at best in taste. My wife's mediterranean pita seemed to be more of buffalo wrap then what she actually ordered. I don't know if Garfield's next door is better but don't waste your time here. read more

This is about breakfast. Seven of us went together. The three who ordered the buffet were pleased with the assortment and price. The four of us who ordered off the menu were aggravated and disgusted. It took a solid hour for our food to come out. When it arrived, it was stone cold. French toast, eggs, toast- all inedible. I only know two sides of this place, the breakfast buffet and the bar. The bar was good, as it had a big screen tv which allowed us to watch the football game. However, there are only three beers on tap, so you're limited mainly to bottles. The breakfast buffet on the other hand was a bit expensive for what it actually offered. With the Willow Valley buffet a thing of the past, the champagne brunch at the Eden Resort Courtyard and Arthur's Terrace is now the ranking Sunday buffet in the Lancaster-York-Harrisburg triangle. Some might vote for the Sunday brunch at The Circular in the Hershey Hotel, but this had more things we actually craved. As wide-open as Willow Valley was, probably half a football field in area. We gorged ourselves for 70 minutes, and never had to look for assistance. There was always somebody around to take care of whatever we needed. Outstanding omelet and pasta stations. The eggs Benedict was some of the best I've ever had. At least eight delicious, gourmet-style entrees. And the dessert table is to die for. You'll pay, to the tune of $33.95 per adult. If you don't shell it out for this, it's your loss. read more

Do not order off the menu! We heard great things about the buffet but we went on a night that they didn't have it. I ordered the shrimp and scallop Florentine pasta. The pasta was cold, the only heat was from the lousy jar quality sauce. The shrimp were cooked until they were rubber. The scallops were surprisingly cooked well. All meals come with two sides, today was broccoli and scallop potatoes. Both served cold. My husband had the stuffed shrimp. Again cooked to a lovely rubber consistency. They also were extremely lemony. He actually ate a full bite of the scallops and said they tasted exactly like dish soap. I chose to believe him and not try for myself. Never again! read more

This is a nice place to go for large groups. The food is decent, desserts are great. Most of us got the buffet, but for the people who ordered off the menu, it was slow. The rest of us were eating our dessert by the time their food arrived. At least the salad bar came with that so they were not just sitting watching us eat. I prepaid for 2 people for our breakfast. And I was disappointed. Restaurant is nice and clean the staff is friendly and helpful but the food was not worth 15$ a person. Everything I mean everything we tried was cold. The scrabbled eggs were rubbery (worse then McDonald's folded eggs). The eggs Benedict was horrible, the sauce tasted like mustard, the English muffin was soggy and mushed together the egg on top were actually okay. The yogurts were a little colder then room temperature, the fruit was good. The biscuits were hard and stale the gravy was super salty. The hash browns were definitely under cooked. And again all the good was ice cold. Would not recommend this restaurant. read more

We had breakfast from the breakfast buffet. It had a nice variety of items to choose from and we had no complaints about the food. Our only complaint is the price. It was close to $7 for each child buffet meal and $14 for adults to eat from the buffet. To order from the menu the price was about the same. One of my daughters ate a donut and the other two mini pancakes. I think $7 is a bit much for such a small amount of food. My plate was a small scoop of eggs with 2 pieces of bacon and a small scoop of hash browns. Again, not worth $14. Yes, it's all you could eat but we can't eat all that much. May be worth it if you are a big eater. If you are staying at Eden Resorts it is definitely convenient. If not, I wouldn't make a special trip out. read more

The restaurant was quite nice. Elegant environment. We went as a party of seven and all got the breakfast buffet. The server was attentive bring us our drinks and a pot of coffee for the table and crafts of cola to refill our drinks. He was a very charming individual. The donuts were made from scratch and were very fluffy. The eggs were cooked perfectly as well as the sausage. The fruit was fresh and clean and had a wide variety from grapefruit to bananas and strawberries. A few issues though, there was no chewy bacon it all was crispy thin cut. Our family loves the thick cut chewy bacon. Also the pancakes seemed a little over cooked on some parts as though the griddle did not distribute heat evenly while cooking. Agree with michael s, breakfast is well done. Dinner was mid 20's per person with soup salad bread and desert bar included. All of it was average quality so to me the price was too high. The atmosphere is bery nice, we were staying at the hotel so it was convenient but next time we will go elsewhere to one of the many other lancaster restaurants for better quality and or price for dinner. We got lucky and got a table without a reservation for their Easter brunch/buffet. It was really, really good. I think they had six or seven different buffets for things like standard breakfast, meats, fruit & salad, desserts, bread & pastry, etc. We were there for just over two hours and would have had more to eat if we could have gone back to the room and had nap break. The desserts were abundant and creative. Everything was kept full and fresh. Hot stuff was hot. This was the most we spent on our trip for a meal, but considering what we got for it, I consider it a good value. read more

Went for the dinner buffet. It was ok. Honey glazed salmon and fresh salads, nice assortment of desserts. The decor and ambience was beautiful. I gave it three stars for how pricey it is. We stay at Eden all the time. We're regulars at Arthur's Terrace, so maybe that's why we get such amazing service all the time. I wouldn't eat anywhere else staying the the Lancaster area. This is one of the best buffets around, for any meal! I've stayed in high-class resorts and hotels from Chicago to New York, and Eden is always one of my favorites, along with Arthur's Terrace as my favorite restaurant! Highly recommend! read more

Yes, I would have to say , it just might be as good as it gets. Went on A Friday night to their prime rib buffet. The food was awesome, and the prime rib, satisfied both myself, and my lady.She enjoying medium rare, and myself, a bit more done. The soup was seafood bisque, and that was enough to make the buffet awesome. The fish and chicken dishes were terrific as well. The wait staff was awesome, and the gent we had, was a delightful chap, who made us feel welcome, comfortable, and had us feeling great. The atmosphere, was elegant, and in the ballroom nextdoor there was a wedding reception going on, and that just made it a more awesome experience. I'm looking at these reviews and I'm like...Did we even eat at the same place? We were staying at the Eden Resort and did the breakfast buffet on Wed. morning....it was horrible. Bagels were a joke (lenders anyone), danishes were super soggy, the scrabbled eggs were a wet mess, the hash was not fully cooked...even my kids didn't like the pancakes (they usually gobble them up)....our waitress was not attentive at all...and for the selection it was certainly overpriced. My kids ended up eating some cheerios, and we headed over to Dunkin Dounuts for decent coffee since even the coffee there was watered down and tasteless. I usually avoid hotel restaurants especially ones that I live close to but we were guests of an associate so we went for the Prime Rib buffet and it was very good. Solid value for the money. The buffet offered several good choices including chicken with crab and a haddock dish and pasta as well as the custom cut prime rib. The salad choices were very nice as well including waldorf salad. Enough variety but not so much that they couldn't keep it fresh. Our waiter Sydney was attentive and pleasant without hovering or interrupting. One thing to note if you are looking for a quite dinner with your spouse this may not be the place. If you want to take your family it will be great. We went during the height of tourist season and it was primarily families with young children or groups of business people. read more
