This is a unique and semi private gym and it is perfect if you are looking for strength training, circuit classes and yoga without a big gym feel. I started with just training but I'm now a member and do classes 2-3 times a week. The classes are always on the smaller side and I've come to know a lot of the people that go there at the same times as I do - the regulars. Staci the owner is knowledgeable and helpful. I've been working on my body composition and trying to build more muscle. There is an Inbody comp machine to help check your progress and Staci is also certified in nutrition. I've been going to this studio for over a year now, and absolutely love it. The classes are great (I do circuit and strength), and the community vibe is wonderful. The results for me are undeniable: I am pain-free in my shoulders for the first time in years. I'm stronger than ever, and can actually lift weights over my head! The MWF HIIT workouts are challenging but fun, and get your heart rate to your anaerobic threshold, helping improve your cardio vascular health. Coupled with 2 days of strength training and a few yoga sculpt classes in between, and you have everything you need from a single gym, at super low monthly price. But Yofit is more than a gym to me. Calvin and Staci have made it my 2nd home. I love working out there because I love them - and all the friends I've made. Working out for me is not easy, but when you're telling jokes and laughing together the whole time, it makes it actually fun. Recently I went through a year-long battle of unemployment, and my YoFit Fam really made all the difference for helping me with keeping a positive mental state. I can't believe it has taken me this long to write a review, given that I've been a member for almost two years. This is a small family-owned gym that offers classes in yoga, pilates, circuit, strength training, and personal training. Everyone, from the owners, Staci and Cal, to all the trainers, is fantastic. Even in a full class, you're likely to get attention from the trainer. Not many gyms do that.... Great local gym owned and run by a couple whose extensive background in Kinetics and diet are amazing. Their staff is attentive, enthusiastic, and encouraging! There are many different options from personal training to yoga classes and circuit training that keeps you moving! There is also an option to go at your own pace that utilizes video screens but you still have trainers who observe you while you're exercising to make sure you're doing the exercises correctly. There's also a trainer who specializes in massage therapeutics and specialized stretching. He is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to diet and exercise since he also participates in body building competitions. If you're not into the big gym atmosphere, this is the perfect individualized gym experience. It's reasonably priced and they have many different types of memberships. There's a by class, or packages in varying degrees depending on how often you're interested in working out. I haven't been to YoFiT in what feels like a year due to my pregnancy, but now that I've been cleared to work out again, it's the first place on my mind! I worked out with Staci in private lessons, and she was amazing. She pushed me just enough to keep me motivated while still meeting me where I was, which I really appreciated. Trust those who Yelp regularly... Terrific concept for a high-intensity training session. I've been keeping fit for 30+ years and took my 1st class with Calvin (trainer) a few days ago... HOOKED! after a 40 minute workout. Do yourself and everyone around you a favor... try the interval workouts. I felt great all day. Came here for a hot yoga class. Their yoga studio is an enclosed room with a small window at the door. I like how dark it can be in there. They have cubbies for your stuff behind the front desk, restrooms, and a water fill up station. Kelly was a great instructor. She gave modifications for ease or additional work, and I appreciated the options. She had us focused on our breath and a great playlist! Parking is easy and this place is still relatively new, so the class only had 4 students. Why not 5 stars? This is meant to be a hot yoga class, but by other studio standards this was just warm. Highest I saw the temp was 92, yet it was 82 by the end of class. This was a great workout regardless. read more

Love this place!!! If you are looking for the best place to improve your fitness level with expert trainers, this is the place. So happy to have I found Yofit. The coaches are such experts. I have worked with Staci, Calvin (owners), Tamara and Sam. I'm sure the others are awesome too. They all really get to know your fitness goals. I love it when I grab a set of weights and then get handed a set that is heavier with a "Don't cheat yourself. You can do this" They can work with injuries too. I injured myself helping my daughter move.. All the coaches were aware and helped me modify exercises to help me heal faster. In the only 6 weeks working out here, I have seen a huge improvement. Tuesday was my first time ever trying yoga, adding to this it was not just regular yoga but "hot yoga"... I was nervous, anxious, and exited, I was really looking forward to it. Kelly my instructor that day was very welcoming Help me feel very relax, told me to try it and if I couldn't follow for any reason I could step out or stayed and watch , make me so confident about myself every step of the way . I must say I never though yoga was so challenging , but at the same time so rewarding. This won't be my last class but I'm sure the beginning of me and yoga trying to find my center and be at peace with the universe an my life. I cannot say enough good things about this gym! First, the workouts are fantastic, there is everything from yoga to circuit to weight lifting. But it's more than the workouts, it's the trainers, they genuinely care about seeing you succeed without getting hurt. They adjust workouts to fit your need or level which makes it possible to get a great workout in a group that has all different fitness levels. My wife joined here a few weeks ago and has enjoyed it, so I checked it out on Saturday with her. Aside from me not being prepared fit-wise, I really enjoyed the format. Quick warmup followed by 8 distinct stations, each with 2 exercises that work different muscle groups. 45 seconds on each, 2 times, with 15 seconds rest in between. The 1 min 15 secs rest before moving to next station. I liked this as you're not tortured over and over by something you hate (ie: mountain climbers). Total workout is about 45 mins. Trainers were super attentive and helpful. I also really like that it's not set class times - you show up when convenient for your schedule. Overall, great experience! read more

I was looking for a yoga studio and found something better. I love the freedom of being able to do circuit or strength training and yoga at my own pace during the week. Trainers and patrons are all super friendly and share the common goal of feeling good. I feel the trainers focus on form and provide the attention to detail other circuit training styles might not. Love this place! The trainers were super kind and gave good cues. I tried both the hot yoga and circuit workout. The yoga was centering and had a nice flow. Good cues and I felt comfortable while also getting my heart rate up. Felt great after not working out for months. I was dripping sweat when I left the circuit training and could definitely feel the endorphins. And the heart rate monitors are and added bonus! Would definitely recommend. She made it fun and easy to follow along by explaining what the moves were called and encouraging those at different levels to go at a pace that felt best for them. I joined YoFiT two weeks ago and I am so happy that I did. The owner/operators are so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Their classes are awesome and cater to each person's individual fitness levels. The best gym EVER! I'm not exaggerating when I say this but all of the trainers are amazing here and will help you reach your goals and make new ones! I have old injuries so I was a little hesitant about getting started up but because of Stacy and Cal along with the amazing yoga from Kelly and Aly I don't have pain anymore! All of the instructors here will teach you how to use your body correctly and if you need modifications they are right there with you. I cannot say enough about how much this gym has helped my mental and physical health! With covid restrictions and gaining weight I was feeling so crummy but this gym has transformed me because of the lovely people who run it ! They are so encouraging and motivating! I started working out 4 years ago, and I have always seen better results when I work out with personal trainers. However, it can get really expensive. When Yofit opened up a few weeks ago offering complimentary workout sessions that entailed high-intensity interval training, functional training and strength training all in the same place, I gave it a shot, and I was immediately hooked! What I loved most was that they didn't hold set class times, so if I showed up at 7:08 or 8:27 I could start whenever I arrived. Additionally, the trainers are all certified and experienced, which meant that my form was being carefully monitored, I was encouraged and motivated the entire duration of the exercise and they provided options to modify or intensify all the exercises. I was given personal trainer attention the entire time. Moreover, there are 8 stations with 2 exercises per stations on the video monitors. Each exercise is 45 seconds on with a 15 sec break before either switching to the other exercise. This layout is perfect for someone who wants some freedom with working out, but also who has the determination to want to push themselves. And if you decide you want to repeat the station, you have the ability to do so. The trainers have designed all the exercises to be challenging and effective. You will not leave Yofit feeling let down. The prices are amazing for the value. I have been a committed client since opening day because I always feel I have been given an excellent workout. And if that's not all, they offer Yoga, which is something I am looking forward to trying out. You will not be disappointed, and if you are anything like me, you will become addicted to Yofit once you've tried it! read more

Ended up in altercation with one of the staff members (white, male, black hair, brown eyes, 5'9", 180, 30s) who actually came outside of the studio to call me a homophobic slur. I know this is north county, but I prefer my yoga studios to be free of bigotry and hate. I obviously will not be returning. read more

The circuit workout was amazing! I had Staci and Calvin as my trainers and they were absolutely wonderful. Very helpful with explaining the exercises. I burned well over 600 calories in the time it took to finish the workout. Im excited to try the yoga and personal training sessions. Hi all I got introduced by this place by a friend of mine and she did not disappoint. Iv taken some prenatal yoga classes that fit exactly what my doctor required with Jaclyn. She was not only amazing but she was also pregnant herself and made me feel super comfortable. Class was small spaced out and super relaxing just what I needed. Now I went in again for a prenatal massage a couple times with the owner Calvin, and when I say ALL PREGNANT WOMEN! If you start to feel like your muscles/bones are shifting and feeling super uncomfortable and just achy I HIGHLY recommend going to Calvin he's just amazing you will walk out feeling like a new person. Oh and can I let u all know I live about 45 -50 mins away and was worth every minute of the drive. Staff is great super friendly. read more

There was great flow in the class and she shared modifications for each pose for advanced or injured practitioners. Her southern voice was energizing and comforting. I will definitely return. This place rocks! Cal and Stacey are super detailed oriented and have an amazing setup. Best yoga studio in North County. I blew out my knee in 1988, ACL. 3 surgeries and several PT treatments. In three sessions with Cal my knee is more responsive than any therapy prior. If you have an injury I encourage to have Cal take a hack at working it. I guarantee you will get results. read more
