If you are into yoga and not easily seasick, this is a not-to-be-missed experience! I've never been on a paddle board before, but the thought of doing yoga on the water watching the sunset in Hawaii was just too enticing to pass up. So we signed up for a 5 pm class on magic island. It was AMAZING! Kelsey talks you through everything. It does help to have some yoga experience (just so you can enjoy the sensation of being on the water and watching the scenery without having to concentrate so much on what you are supposed to be doing). Having said that, the moves are pretty basic - beginner to early intermediate (level 1-2). She takes pictures of you so you don't have to bring a camera. Super fun! read more

Probably the most relaxing adventure I've ever had! Kelsey is phenomenal. We had people of every skill level there and everyone had a smile on their face. I chose to take he Paddling 101 course followed by the SUP Yoga class which I would absolutely recommend as I felt pretty comfortable on the board for the yoga sesh. The most fun thing we've done in Honolulu. My husband, daughter, son and I did this and it was a blast. Kelsey was amazing and guided us through the basics and then challenged us with harder poses. She made this fun, relaxing and challenging all at the same time. The setting is beautiful. We were in waist deep water. Very comfortable and easy to get back on the board when you feel off. Class was low pressure. Most of us knew yoga but had never done it on a paddle board. But even if you've never done yoga (my son had not), you could follow along and have a great time. This was my first time practicing yoga on a paddleboard and my husband's first time practicing yoga. Kelsey was all around awesome and the equipment was very nice. She gave us background on how poses would be modified on a paddleboard. She encouraged and challenged us with different poses. Loved Kelsey's class. The boyfriend and I took the go with the flow class, it was my first time doing SUP yoga and the bf's first yoga class ever. Kelsey was great to talk to, she offered lots of modifications and made sure we were doing the poses safely on the board. It was pretty challenging with the waves but it was an awesome experience. My favorite part of the class were the balance poses even though it was difficult. Although the bf fell into the ocean a few times he enjoyed himself as well!! Kelsey was fantastic! This yoga class was so much fun, I'm not too big of a yoga person but I was intrigued by the added challenge of doing it on a paddle board and boy was I right! The class was challenging and tested your balance but Kelsey was great and walked you through the steps with care and suggested the appropriate modifications if they were needed, she also encouraged you to step outside of your comfort zone. I really appreciated that she took pictures of the class and of my friend and I (at our request) to provide us with the lasting memory of the activity. 10/10 would do again and recommend! read more

I had such a great time on the water with Kelsey! I did the sunset session and was lucky enough to have it one on one with her! We did a lovely vinyasa flow and some balancing poses at the end. The whole session helped clear out my congestion as I'm still recovering from the flu, as well as helped my mind find some peace. Kelsey took some really cool photos and she helped make me feel really comfortable on the paddle board! My friend and I had been wanting to try SUP yoga for a while, and we are SO glad we did. I would highly recommend Yoga Floats. We did the evening/sunset class with Kelsey. She was a great teacher. Very clear about what to expect before we got on the boards, and she provided lots of options for all levels. She mixed calmness with humor (for example, when we fell in), which I really appreciate. She remembered our names. And she took GREAT photos. You should definitely expect to get wet, even if you don't fall in. You'll wade out waist deep to anchor and get on the SUP board. And the board will be wet when you're doing poses and lying on it. Bring a towel and a change of clothes! read more

I took her 11am class, and while Kelsey is an excellent teacher who knows what she is doing, she also knew how to make me feel comfortable and could laugh with me while falling out of some more challenging poses. Worst experience I have ever had with yoga studios. The owner and instructor is irresponsible, unprofessional and rude. Before the class, the studio is unresponsive to my message, and my call went to voice mail. We arrived at the class early, but we were unable to find her location due to lack of information. When we finally find her location, the class has already started, the instructor then left us on the beach and ignored us. We left after 10 minutes, very disappointed. The owner refused to give us a refund afterwards. read more

Let's talk about what a special practice this is . I attended the night class with my best friend and we agreed that it began as a challenging class and transitioned to ultimate zen by the final pose. The owner was so generous as we arrived a little late and called three times looking for where the class started. She welcomed us and made our class of about ten feel capable, at ease and encouraged. At night the boards are outfitted with colored lights which light the ocean below you. If was spectacular to see each anchored board and student atop flow from each asana above brightly colored water below. Although the vinyasas were familiar, they were very challenging to me, a first time SUP yogi. I enjoyed the entire class and am very grateful for the nourishing practice. This was a great addition to my vacation in Hawaii, a unique, fun, and beautiful experience. Kelsey was a great instructor -- echo others comments that she was very helpful, patient, encouraging, and just all around cool. For the beginners class it is still helpful to have some basic yoga experience. Kelsey said that about half of those in the class fall off the board at some point -- in my class it was the majority including me and it was totally fine -- everyone was nice and supportive of each other. When I found this online I was worried it might be touristy -- I was glad that I went for it and found that it wasn't -- there was a mix of tourists and a couple locals. Nice beach to do this too (not far from Waikiki but a quieter more chill beach than you find over there). read more
