The crew was phenomenal! Austin, Whitney and Jessy were so much fun, interactive and made it enjoyable despite the limited visibility with rough waters. The.views and ocean ride was top notch and a gorgeous day to be out on the water. Great drinks and snacks which made for a perfect day.

Good experience overall. 65' catamaran. You leave your shoes at the dock. Everyone is barefoot. Initial safety brief is in the cabin. Then you can spread out. Food is in boxes. Drinks are at the bar and it's a pretty good selection. Views are spectacular. Crew is very friendly. Highly recommended while in Waikiki.

09/23/24 We had a great time. Not over crowded plenty of good viewing seats. Covered area as well. Staff was great they were very busy making drinks. Food was a sandwich and a large fortune cookie. The view was fantastic. I would do it again. Come in flip flops because they ask you to store your footwear in a locker before boarding so you don't slip on the deck.

    Great sunset!

Overall, it was a great cruise! The captain and crew were very nice and knowledgeable. We got some great views of Waikiki and Diamondhead. We even saw a whale, even though it wasn't the season to see them. The bar was well stocked. The only downside was the food. A bunch of food was listed on the website, but all we got was two sliders each.

I signed up and paid for what I thought was a dinner sunset cruise, and it wasn't that! I even called to make sure we were going to get a dinner and the lady I spoke over the phone said yes and begin to tell me the items on the menu. This was our 25th Wedding Anniversary and I wanted it to be special. We were in Chicago for our 20th Wedding Anniversary and took a Dinner Cruise on Lake Michigan and it was a very nice, well organized Dinner Cruise...and we ate a buffet style dinner in the boat with about 50 to 60 other couples. It was for adults only. This Sunset Cruise was not as advertised and in my opinion overpriced for what you get. I knew I signed up for the wrong cruise when we were asked to take our shoes off before boarding the vessel. Then I realized this wasn't going to be a nice, romantic ride with my wife of 25 years as the captain was giving us a briefing before heading out into the waters. He was energetic and funny, great personality, just not what I was expecting. He talked about the boxes that were on the table which contained our meal for the cruise. A box with 2 chicken sliders. I thought we were going to get a nice dinner. We were on a sail boat, the ride was bumpy, which didn't leave much room to walk around freely like on a cruise ship or even the boat we were on in Chicago. Nonetheless, me and my wife made the best of our experience. The captain and his crew were very attentive to our needs and safety. Once I got the nerve to stand up and walk around, I took pictures and even had one of the crew members take pictures of us with the sun setting behind us. Overall, even though this is not what I expected, we made the best of it and thank the Lord we made it safely back to shore. Thus I give the rating of a 3. Never will I do this again. Be sure to read the fine print and talk to someone to make sure you know what you're signing up for. There was another couple on the boat that thought this was going to be a dinner cruise on a nicer boat and not a cocktail cruise with a box containing 2 chicken sliders. Big disappointment!

Did the Sunset cruise with my husband, truly disappointed with the food they gave us on this cruise, I did notice that the bartenders will only ring the bell when you gave them $20 tip, definitely would not do this cruise again, the captain was sailing the boat with his foot! Made me sick! They do give you liquor as long as you're tipping. cheap liquor.

The crew is everything. Knowledge, helpful and most importantly FUN. Went for the Turtle Reef Snorkel & Sail. The sail back was super fun even though the water was a little choppy. Even if you don't snorkel long....you're going to have a good time out on the water.

We did the turtle snorkel adventure with 2 adults snd 2 kids. Capt. Nick and crew Tiffany and Korin were great. We saw turtles and tons of tropical fish. Great experience and would recommend, especially if you are staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village as the boat docks there.

Fantastic sail! Food was basic but good. Staff are fun and attentive. Great drinks. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

what an epic adventure!! we did the turtle snorkeling trip as a family. my 2 8 year olds were a little nervous but the guides were so helpful and kind. Ashley was so sweet and made my son feel really comfortable and safe. the guides let my him hold on to the rescue float and pointed out fish and turtles to him! Marco(I think that was his name) dove down and brought back a sea urchan and let them hold it! drinks were great, lunch was refreshing. the crew was helpful when the kids started feeling a little queezy. I cant say anything negative at all. it was an amazing and memorable experience! I would do it again in a heartbeat! totally felt the Aloha.

We participated in this cruise as the start of my cousin's bachelor party and boy what a great way to start it out! The catamaran was so cool, there was plenty of room for everyone, the staff was helpful and very friendly, and the views were breathtaking. We even saw a sea turtle at the end! The staff made it so fun and made some pretty good drinks to boot. The appetizers were not great, but that is not why we were on the cruise. It was a relaxing and easy cruise right off the pier and around Diamond Head. The sunset views were beautiful. I would highly recommend taking a sunset Waikiki Sail on the Spirit of Aloha. We also decided to do a Sea Turtle Snorkel with them a couple days later. It was a great snorkel trip on one of their other catamarans. We took the first one of the day and I highly recommend that. We had the popular reef to ourselves and it was relaxing and beautiful. We saw more than 5 turtles and plenty of fish. We were in the water for over an hour and it was so much fun. I loved every moment of the cruise. We had a peaceful ride out to the reef and on the way back Plus some tasty drinks!). The crew was friendly and helpful. I also highly recommend the snorkel cruise!

Dan was fantastic from start to finish, making everyone feel comfortable, safe, and welcome. One thing we especially appreciated was the small group size. It created a much more personal experience, allowed for individual attention, and made all of us feel relaxed. Dan did a great job balancing safety and fun, and he was wonderful with our teenagers. The diving was great (saw eels, turtles, rays, lots of fish) and the entire operation was professional, organized, and easy to work with start to finish.

What we got instead was poor dive management and a complete lack of professionalism. During the dive, I ran out of air, which is a serious and dangerous situation in scuba diving. The response from the guide was dismissive and poorly handled, which only made the situation worse. The most frustrating part of the entire experience was dealing with Gabe, the owner. He had absolutely no patience and was openly unprofessional, not just with us but in the way he interacted with others as well. There was no concern for how unsafe the situation was, no accountability, and no attempt to make things right. For an activity where safety, trust, and professionalism are critical, this operation fell short on every level. We paid nearly $700 and walked away feeling stressed, unsafe, and completely disappointed. I would strongly caution newer or less experienced divers before booking here. This is not the kind of environment where you feel supported or safe.

I hardly write reviews but their considerate and meticulous service made for an unforgettable experience. Many companies offer discover scuba lessons in Oahu so I called a few to understand the itinerary before making a decision. I spoke with Toby, he welcomed all questions and gave an honest glimpse of what the experience would be. He was also courteous enough to let me know that they might reschedule our reservation in case they don't have enough people to meet a minimum for the boat. This did happen but the company let me know this promptly well in advance and even followed up to remind me about completing e-learnings etc. Fast forward to the day of the scuba and my mother & I met with Toby and the captain on Diamond T II, their boat along ala moana. The captain did a quick lay down of the safety instructions and Toby walked us through the nuts and bolts of diving - key skills, sign language, etc. The crew split us into parties of two each. The sea was a little choppy and I was feeling a little sea sick so I asked the cap if I go jump in the water till the first pair finished their training and dive and he even gave me snorkeling gear!! This was a great way to kill time and also get a preview of the dive ahead. The cap also encouraged my mother to join me and despite her fear of water, she felt at ease in doing so. This half an hour was unexpectedly enjoyable as we were able to interact with some marine life and my mother felt more comfortable being in water. We then got into our gear, which was labeled, super clean and hygienic, and proceeded to do our training session with Toby in the water. This was the highlight of our experience as jumping in a water can be pretty daunting with heavy gear, especially if you run into tricky problems like water in the mask or your regulator. Despite my mother running into these frequently, Toby was incredibly patient and relentlessly made an effort to do her skill training without rushing her. Unfortunately, she was feeling pretty sea sick and also tired by her time in the water so she decided to pause but Toby and I carried on into the water. We spent a serious amount of time close to the ocean bed, Toby was alert yet let me free roam in the water so I gained some confidence too. I was surprised by how clear the water was and we saw plenty of fish, it was magical. On returning, I found out that my mother got sick on the boat so the cap helped her with a pair of goggles, some jelly, and light humor to alleviate her motion sickness. The crew was highly aware of most passengers feeling sick so they expedited our return to the waterfront. I fail to see how this experience could've been more enjoyable and how this crew could've been more considerate to first time divers. Thank you so much for this!!

I have been a PADI certified diver for over 25 years. For the first time in all these years, I am…read morewriting a bad review about a PADI Dive Shop. At the end of this month, I am traveling to Honolulu, Hawaii with my wife and five-year-old daughter for vacation. I reached out to "Aloha Scuba Diving Company" (www.divealohascuba.com) a PADI 5-star IDC, inquiring about their dives. We exchanged about 10 emails, where they offered me to do a Wreck Certification. In those emails, we went over the dates, time requirement per day, dives, and cost, among other details. After a lot of negotiation with my family, they allowed me to step away from our time together, to go diving for a couple days. Based on the information Aloha Scuba Diving Company provided in those emails, I coordinated with my wife and scheduled the rest of our vacation (booking activities with my family, rather than going scuba diving by myself). After booking the rest of the activities in our vacation, I emailed Aloha Scuba Diving Company and they asked me to call the shop to make the payment and confirm the booking. Yesterday, I called the shop, and they took my credit card to confirm the booking. After the call, I received emails confirming the booking and notifications from the credit card company confirming the charge. The first thing that happened was that they overcharged my credit card compared to the price they quoted me on the emails (even when during the call I pointed to the specific email with the price they had quoted). I called back and they offered to do a refund for the difference. A few minutes later, the same person I spoke to called me, and told me that all the information that was given to me in our email correspondence was wrong. He told me that there was "some miscommunication" and that the certification required more days, more dives, and that they would need to increase the cost they had quoted. I told them that I had booked my whole vacation around the information they had provided and that they should honor what they told me. The person on the phone said he would talk to the dive shop owner and let me know. After we finished that call, within 2-3 minutes, I received emails cancelling my booked course. I immediately called the shop again to find out what was happening, but they just did not take my calls. I followed up with an email asking for an explanation, but they did not reply (again, all this within minutes of them taking my credit card, confirming the booking and calling me trying to charge more). In all my years of diving, doing so in multiple countries, I had never faced this situation. They clearly do not understand the commitment (cost and time) that going diving requires for a diver traveling with his/her family where they do not dive. I am taking precious time I could spend with my wife and five-year-old daughter, creating memories, for the diving certification. I also planned and booked all other activities around the information they had provided by email. When things are written, there is no room for "miscommunications." The fact that they tried to overcharge me (even when over the phone I pointed to the email where they quoted the price", and after catching their intention to overcharge, they started coming up with these additional days, additional time, additional dive, and additional cost required, is absolutely unacceptable, a deceptive practice (bait-and-switch), and disrespectful to someone that is booking a whole vacation around this activity. I always book my diving with shops that are listed in the PADI site because it gives me the peace of mind and certainty that they are established dive shops that abide to PADI's Quality Management Practices, Safety Guidance, and involving qualified personnel. This is the first time in all these years, and diving in multiple countries, that I find myself in this situation. Do yourself a favor and avoid Aloha Scuba Diving Company at all costs.
