We chose one of the mountain yoga options, which included a short hike up to PC Hill followed by yoga. Lindsey thought of everything--she brought mats, water bottles, and even sunscreen! It's great to know that as an esthetician, I'm being told that it's ok to eat whatever you want, DAIRY INCLUDED, but always pay attention to your body's response. (I've seen a different a different esthetician and they flat out told me to go keto...) I love the fact that she went down to business with my face. Lots of pressure pressing and massaging on my skin, even though my skin's sensitive. I almost didn't want to get up as she was layering different products! The lymphatic massage was a total plus as I needed drainage in my body! In the end, I loved how she wasn't pressuring me to purchase products immediately, as I am using something else. I found her on Yelp and was able to book via texting - she also has appts on her website. She confirmed via email and I had a text appt reminder. Her location is in the same complex as the Bear Hollow Village homes so super easy if you're staying in the area. She shares a suite with Jupiter Mountain massage as well on the 2nd floor. I accidentally arrived 30 mins early for my appt but she was able to accommodate me and also extend the facial to 90 mins. What a glorious 90 mins filled with different organic serums and creams (she explained them all as she went along and also gave me recommendations at the end) and pampering. The 90 mins also included scalp, hands and feet massage-- I definitely fell asleep at various times throughout the session. I left with radiant skin and some tips on how to combat this dry weather. I like that they have a good variety of equipment, from reformer to chair to springboard and TRX. I like that they are conveniently located in Kimball Junction, and so I can combine a trip with grocery shopping. There is ample parking as well, so I don't have to worry too hard about parking when I come to the classes. I use Classpass to attend classes here, and although it can get hard to get a spot in the classes, I can still attend them on less-busy days. I find that some of the classes here can be a little too "easy" so I do try to book the harder ones at the 1.5 level rather than 1.0 level. That being said, I've been doing pilates classes for many years now and take it consistently at a studio in downtown SLC that is known for doing harder pilates classes.

Kimball location has tons of rear parking and only a few spots in front. ::: RECEPTION ::: Friendly staff. Always a smile, a joke, a positive word of workout encouragement. Admin stuff happens here, like renewing a punch or membership pass. Note that passes work at both the Kimball and Prospector locations. 2 towel types upon entry- large and small hand towels stamped with SMSC in communist red. The locked turnstile to the club can be a real beast, especially early mornings when half-wake. Silver Mountain logo'd merch available for purchase. Full-on smoothie Bar! $1 bottled water in case you forget to bring your own is nice. Day care available! ::: FIRST FLOOR ::: Well laid out space. Yoga and spin studio on first floor along with free weights. Spin class is world-class. Even better with view of outdoor lap pool. Great sound system. The high energy party music from spin class flows into the free weight room sometimes because it gets hotter than a swedish sauna in there. Invariably someone jams open the door during classes. Brony free weight users frown upon this this and close the spin class door which we then have to open again. Its the circle of life. Door open. Door close. Door open. Door close. Rinse. Wash. Repeat. ::: SECOND FLOOR ::: Second floor is cardio. Ample treadmills, stair steppers, etc. just lots of aerobic equipment including an female users only room as gawker prophylaxis. ::: THIRD FLOOR ::: Third floor is where the magic happens for me-- large fitness room with tremendous views of the mountains. Sign ups required for all fit classes during winter season. Can reserve a spot up to 24 hrs ahead. They will wait list prior to full classes-- a warm-up for Sundance, I suppose. Most notably for me Butts&Guts (and sometimes Buns&Guns). Put these names on the merch and I will bite-- just adore the fun, catchy, edgy names. Generically shorthand the classes as'BeeGees' for short. Which also perfectly captures the sentiment of pushing through the wall to keep doing 'burpies' and other variations on push-ups until you cannot breath anymore because all your classmates are encouraging each other: Feel the city breakin' and everybody shakin', And we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive. Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive. Exercising as part of a team collective mentality really allows you to push yourself without suffering-- you just zone out and keep working hard. It's a party hive mind with the queen bee instructor. Speaking of, the instructors here are all amazing-- many seem to be world-class athletes in their own right. Also on third floor- changing rooms with lockers and showers. Very clean and well-kept. Lots of people get ready there before leaving to divert fractions of pennies at Initech after they workout. Hand sanitizers and kleenex boxes scattered everywhere. There is also an executive membership with a private locker room area and a laundry service. Like many rooms of the original Apple IIe's Castle Wolfenstein, I have never made it past the lock code box on door so as to witness the splendor. It's VIPs eyes only. I can only presume that here VIP stands for Very Important Push-ups! Drop and give me twenty. No drinking fountain on third floor though. Wonderful excuse for more exercise as I jaunt down the staircase to guzzle my arid parch away! There is another staircase in the back that is out of way. So much I consider it hidden but not quite Platform Nine and Three-Quarters of the Potterverse. ::: THE BOSU ::: Favorite part of my most favorite class (Butts&Guts) is the Bosu. What is this Bosu you ask? Cue infomercial here: Bosu is marketed as a balance trainer but it is much, much more. Bosu is an alien UFO saucer disc thingy that is 26 inches in diameter and looks like a big blue egg yolk. The name 'Bosu' is an acronym: Both Sides Utilized. You stand on it and try to keep your balance while following instructor-led exercises as it keeps wobbling ever so slightly. This Bosu wobble is the special sauce-- an element of instability that creates an added layer of complexity and challenge during the exercises making it so much fun! One happy, buzzy glow with a side of Bosu wobble, please!

The instructors are encouraging without being over the top, and the workouts are challenging in that quiet way that really builds strength. Some days I feel strong, some days I just show up and do my best, but I always leave feeling better than when I walked in. DO NOT SIGN UP HERE - IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL (about $1500 lost)…read more We've now paid for a membership after cancelling about 15 months ago ($1500 lost) A little long, but A MUST READ Please read the whole story before you think about using this Park City HotWorx location to detox your body To be clear, we love Hotworx as a whole, and have been members in multiple states all the way back to 2019 when they first launched a location in Colorado. Almost 2 years ago, we signed up as members in Park City before they officially opened, and there were delays from opening on time. The day finally came for us to come and start working out here on May 1st of 2024, and immediately we noticed a TERRIBLE SMELL and got bad headaches after only being there for about 20 minutes, and came to find out they had issues with the bathroom backing up or something of that nature. From our experience with mold in the past, and what they told us happened with the backing up, we believed this was most likely mold that was causing our headaches. We told the owners via text message that we could not come in to workout due to the mold situation, and we would kindly ask that they cancel our membership and that we would go workout at a different Hotworx. They selfishly wanted to keep the money coming into their Hotworx location, so they said they could upgrade us for free to be able to use any Hotworx location free of charge so we didn't have to cancel our membership with them. So we agreed to that. Then we ended up using the membership for maybe 1-2 months, only a handful of times, and ended up cancelling our membership at the Millcreek SLC location we were going to, and we were assured it was cancelled and we would not be billed again. Now this month, October 2025, when I was in my bank statement I noticed that we had been being billed by the park city location for the past 15 months since cancelling, so we reached out to the Park City location via text message, and then had a very long conversation with their manager Kaylee on October 23rd 2025. Kaylee was very friendly & sympathetic, but couldn't do anything until the owners were back from vacation. She even thanked us for being so polite and not yelling at her with what we were going through. Kaylee went through the system and realized we had not logged into any Hotworx location since we had cancelled over 15 months prior. And she mentioned having troubles with people not knowing what to do at the Millcreek location as well, so she could believe that we were told the wrong information and not cancelled properly at the Millcreek location. Kaylee asked we kindly wait the weekend until the owners get back from vacation so the owners could call us after they got settled back in from their vacation. She told us that she was cancelling our memberships before the weekend so we would not be billed again as well. NOW GET THIS On the following Tuesday (not Monday as we were promised), the owners didn't even have the decency to reach out to us personally :( Must have been tired from spending our money on their vacation. Instead they had their manager Kaylee call us back to essentially tell us that their policy was that we had come into their location to cancel and referred us to our written agreement. ARE YOU SERIOUS??? This is why people don't like memberships and subscriptions, and why we will never sign up for one in any location again. Even though they were happy to push us to the MillCreek location when they had a mold issue, they now wanted to throw it in our face that we did not come back to their location to cancel the membership in person. They also told us our cancellation that we were promised on October 23rd 2025 still hadn't even gone through until we come in person to sign papers. AGAIN, ARE YOU SERIOUS??? They did offer to waive our cancellation fee as a courtesy though, LOL They didn't even offer to refund us for 3-6 months since they could see we had not been there in over 15 months. We will not step foot back in to the park city location because we don't want to get sick from toxic mold or whatever issue has occurred from the bathrooms backing up, so we will be contacting our bank to make sure we don't get billed again. I'd like to mention that we do not regularly call our bank, and have not done so in over 5 years. Typically when businesses are given the opportunity to make things right and see all the evidence, they do so. These owners were very friendly and nice up until the point we wanted to cancel our membership upon noticing mold, and they did everything in their power to keep our money and still are to this day. One of the things that irritates me the most here, is they could clearly see our communication in a text message chain starting in May of 2024, which shows we attempted to cancel our membership with their Park City location, and they pushed us off.
