Awesome studio. The short of is that you should pay Yoga Nyla a visit if you want consistently good classes, top quality instructors and a clean, well-appointed studio. They are the only area studio that still hands out cold (lavender) towels at the end of each class. The weekend mid-morning classes are the most crowded but the energy in there is soooo uplifting. What I am personally drawn to, and what has kept me coming back, is how much intention and thoughtfulness Diana brings to her classes and studio, from the overall collective and individual experiences to the smaller details within the space. Each instructor brings their own very distinct personal signature to their classes too, which I love. One has ultra fluid flows with smooth transitions, another instructor brings levity and sparkle without compromising the challenge, Diana's classes reflect her long time experience and general life wisdom, and so on and so forth. I wish they had more yin classes that align with MY personal schedule (lol) but I really appreciate the variety of mindfulness classes in the rotation. What a gem and a gift Yoga Nyla is! read more

Attended my first free class at Yoga Nyla! I heard about hot yoga and Yoga Nyla from my sister, so I decided to attend the Hot Vinyasa Yoga session on a Monday evening. We arrived about 10 minutes early to fill out forms and get settled in. There are lockers available for your belongings. We brought our own yoga mats, but they also offer rentals. It was my first time doing hot yoga and it was tough! I try to work out regularly, so I thought I'd be able to handle it, but I was dead by the end. The class included a lot of core and stretching exercises. The instructor, Diana, made sure we got a great workout in. The class was packed, so it was a bit difficult to see her at times as she was in the front. I'm not familiar with many of the poses, so when she called out the names, I often times had to look around to see what others were doing and I also wasn't sure if I was doing the moves correctly. The class is fast paced as well so I found it challenging to keep up. The last 10 minutes were for meditation, and the cold towel we were given was very refreshing. Overall, hot yoga is not for the weak! I found it fast paced as a beginner, but I think I'd pick it up if I attended more classes. Diana had great energy and played good music. To make the class more beginner friendly, it would help if the instructor was more visible (elevated platform) and if the instructor would walk around the room to correct poses (maybe possible with smaller class size). This is the best heated yoga studio. You will find in the area. The community is close and about bonding. They do Sunday brunch almost every weekend. They also have non-heated classes, very Zen slow paced meditation or breathing classes. There is all types of age ranges. Everyone is so friendly and loving. First of all , I don't think they follow Calfire or Cal OSHA code , my yoga studio in LA Has limited people coming in for each class . This studio sometimes has 50+ people ( it's ridiculous) and people dripping sweat on my face when they walked out the room !!! Energy is everything and each teacher provides a different energy that doesn't make the practice feel routine. I really appreciate the 40 for 40 special rate so people have the opportunity to experience the variety of teachers and find who they vibe with. I took a yoga class at Zuda Folsom while a teacher training was being held at the studio I regularly practice at. While the flow of the class seemed fine, the heat was on extremely high. It felt so hot to a point that felt dangerous. The yoga instructor mentioned that it was so hot because their thermostat was broken. I wanted to walk out at that exact moment. You would think she could have opened a door or turned on the fan. I felt so dizzy and had to lay on my mat so I wouldn't pass out and noticed so many others were doing the same. I am used to practicing hot yoga regularly, but this felt extreme. The class could have been pleasant if it wasn't for the extreme heat. It was also very crowded in the room which did not help. Health and safety of everyone in the studio should be the number one priority. I am glad I only purchased the one class pass instead of the package because I won't be back. read more

I've been attending Zuda heated yoga classes for about three weeks now. I'm addicted! I've been dealing with chronic neck pain for about four months. I've been to the chiropractor countless times, spent far too much money on massages and also received acupuncture treatments. None of these things have worked. Heated yoga is helping! My pain is not gone, but it is improving and I'm ecstatic for the progress! I've participated in about 13 classes with different instructors. Each has their own flare but they've all been really good. Power yoga is no joke. It's intense and then you add 85 to 90° temps but it's awesome and you can make modifications as you need to. Not only has it helped my neck it has drastically helped my brain! It has released so much stress and anxiety. Honestly, it is way cheaper than therapy and you get a workout. Try it! I started practicing yoga for the first time here after taking a yoga class for one semester at Folsom Lake College and it all began. Like our yoga instructors alway say, "When you show up here... The hardest part is already done." I learned to love myself more, to take out more time for Me. This is what yoga has taught me. The yoga studio here is awesome. It's always clean and smells good. The front lounge has comfortable seats for the yogis. There's a little shop at the front that sells awesome little yoga things including towels, hair ties, lotion, and yoga wear. Yes, they have Lululemon and at times I swear it seems exclusive because I've never seen certain Lulu's anywhere else. Now for the actual classes. They use a scheduling system on the MINDBODY app on your phone and it works great! Super organized. This is your way of booking and purchasing your classes. There's little tablets at the front desk for checking in too. The instructors (I've been with Aaron, Amanda, Natalie, Angeline and Leslie)... I've gone to a few classes and they are all AWESOME in their own way. They all have a different flow. There's not one class that's like another one. The instructors bring their personality to class and you'll feel it. Their sincerity and passion shines through. I love my Zuda instructors. read more

to put it simply, zuda yoga is awesome. I've been to a fair amount of other studios and always find myself missing this place. all of the instructors offer fantastic sequences that have obviously been well thought out and change frequently thus always keeping your practice fresh and challenging. another plus is the circle of individuals that frequent zuda yoga. a large group of kind hearted people all congregating to push themselves past their perceived limitations. like I stated prior, truly an awesome environment. side note; Natalie and Leslie are THE greatest. no joke dude. read more

I have practiced yoga for 13 years now and have taught yoga for 5- as a seasoned practitioner I can say that Zuda has some of the best hot yoga I have found in Sacramento. I tried the introductory month for $30 and took 14 classes during that time and every single class I left feeling energized, inspired, and renewed. I took class with Jodi, Stephanie, and Becca and they all have their own unique style of teaching. I do wish the teachers would have offered more hands on assists however, with covid-19 it is understandable why they do not anymore. I will definitely be back to Zuda soon. read more
