Wow! I have been to 55 classes now and it has truly just gotten better and better. I am so grateful to be rediscovering space all over my body that had gotten so stiff and inflexible. Keeping up with going to classes consistently has made such a positive difference in my life. I've mostly gone to Restore classes, but have branched out to Hot Mat Pilates/Fusion and even the Signature Hot! The Pilates/fusion is a really good challenge without feeling defeating. Just do what you can, and Mary makes it fun! The hot sequence is so good and juicy and really lays the foundation for improved wellness and fitness. Letting go of tension, building strength, and sweating out the toxins has benefits that keep on giving. Studio owner Michelle is a true gem, she is so kind and very involved in the community. It's nice to see her in class too! The yoga six EDH community is really something special. Highly recommend trying a class, catching a workshop, or joining! Love it here!!! The sculpt classes I've been to have all be heated classes. Not sure if they do any without heat but they are great. Those classes are tough but you leave feeling so accomplished. Also, tried their restore classes and they are amazing and relaxing. All of the instructors I've had so far are great! The equipment are well taken care of. They provide cleaning spray and rags so you can clean your area and equipment. After the end of a session, I absolutely love how they provide you a cold face cloth infused with calming scent. read more

Y6 is amazing and the owner, Michelle, has curated the best instructors and created the most amazing community among members. My favorite classes are slow flow, restore, and hot. Jill is the best overall (imo) with amazing music choices paired with great flows, Jamie is great with flow and advanced inversions, Phoebe has amazing vibes with fun flows, and Chiara is the queen of sculpt! Highly recommend trying out a few classes and excited that Michelle is expanding to Folsom with a second location under her ownership. read more

Where do I begin Michelle the owner is the sweetest person ever we met doing warrior sculpt at another gym. The sculpt and flow is tough I'm not going to lie. Chiara's and Lisa B really know how to bring it with great music, weights and of course the yoga flow poses we all know and love, oh and don't forget the heat ugh very hot in the room & when your all done you get a nice cold cloth waiting for you. It's been just over a year now since I joined and just celebrated my 100 classes with this wonderful group of people . I've done yoga at other studios and large gyms but this is intimate enough that every person there is like family . Michelle and her crew are all amazing .. from her staff up front to every teacher there .. they all have their own styles but are all great people and keep you wanting to come back over and over . How does one properly phrase one of the best overall experiences of your life? We humans spend a lot of time over a lifetime doing different things that interest us, help us, and sometimes harm us. Yoga6 is by far one of the best experiences of my short 53 years on the planet. I won't go into all my adventures and misadventures, but I will tell you about this school. Aside from perfect cleanliness, great schedules, and exceptional staff, there is more that even includes other members; they are the best. There are multiple classes you can take; I cannot say I have taken a wide variety, but I stick to the class that does the most for me, mind and body. I recently achieved 60 classes, which is a small milestone they celebrate at Yoga6 and more as you continue your journey. I have taken yoga in the past, in different styles and locations, and nothing comes close to their level of excellence. Michelle, the owner, is an example of how a great thing requires greatness at the top. Back when I was searching for a new studio, she called me back as I had inquired before they opened. I asked a lot of questions, and I needed specifics for what I wanted out of a studio; she answered all of them and was uncommonly kind, realizing what I needed as my wife was recovering from a bone marrow transplant. The instructors are simply the best teachers I have ever had. Since I stick now to one class specifically, I have had many classes with many teachers, and it is always a different experience regardless of who is leading. Even more so, having the same instructor is still always a distinct experience; nothing stays the same, and you will not fall into a rut. Cassey, Jamie, Jess, Jill, and Phoebe are all superstars. It is like an all-star lineup. Each is unique and learned in their personal style and ways while never deviating from the practice, assuring continuity. So, for myself, this has been one of the best choices of my life. I feel better with every class. Years of scar tissue and inflexibility by life and surgeries slowly melt away with continued effort and the welcoming atmosphere of Yoga6 and my teachers. Namaste. read more

I really enjoyed the slow & Flow class today with Phoebe. It was a great pace, I liked how we held the pose a little longer, feeling a little more stretch. I've been practicing Yoga for 15+ years off and on. I would recommend it for so many reasons. Living in San Francisco I went to 4 different Yoga studios and picked my practice based on my favourite teachers and my schedule. Since moving back to the Sacramento area I pretty much did the same. Some days in Sacramento and some days in Folsom. Some really good teachers were easy to find. Then I found Yoga 6. I decided to try it and I felt a strong connection immediately. Coming back from a couple of injuries, I decided to start with a Restore class with Phoebe. She was so great, I kept going back. After a month of Restore classes I felt so much better I was able to start taking the other active movement classes. The owner Michelle (also an amazing teacher) truly has a talent for hiring phenomenal staff. I know I can show up to any class at anytime and have a spectacular practice. The Wellness Staff greets you when you walk in with a beautiful smile and no matter what mood you're in you just feel like you've shown up to a place with nothing but great energy.
