Every prop you could need is provided -- and there's enough for everyone. The teachers are all incredible in their own unique ways. Dharma offers the most comprehensive class schedule in North County SLO, with start times ranging from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., seven days a week. The owner, Jena, is a truly special soul whose calming, present energy is felt the moment you meet her. The love and intention she's poured into this space is woven into every detail. Downstairs, there's a lovely wellness lounge featuring an array of healing modalities and a space for other practitioners to host workshops -- from Reiki trainings to massage to bio-tuning and beyond. She was so nice and accommodating. This was our first time and we were all looking forward to it. Once we arrived, she was prepared and ready for us, introduced herself and explained what to expect during the experience or journey and showed us into her space, which was open and beautiful. She has a pleasant affect and a soothing, calming voice. We all had a really wonderful time simply laid back, relaxing & listening to her sing and work the bowls. We had much to talk about, after we left, about our different experiences, which was fun. All positive. It was really a nice hour and we felt relaxed and refreshed afterwards. Like after a massage. We didn't want it to end. We'll do it again sometime, for longer!

We agreed that her services would meet my needs and she sent me a schedule and invoice with a down payment required. I made the down payment and we set the first few dates to meet. Fast forward a few days and bam! The world locks down, including Brooke shutting down in person sessions. Of course this is out of everyone's hands. As a healthcare worker myself, I was mandated to work extra hours at the hospital and my schedule was out of my own hands. I reached out to Brooke and what the plan was, she said we could met over the phone. Personal yoga sessions over the phone? Not only was I not interested in this option, with my kids and husband now at home due to the lock down I had no where to do these "sessions". I specifically signed up with one on one yoga because I wanted the hands on experience and assistance I would not be getting in gym classes or elsewhere. When I explained this to Brooke I was told "to bad so sad". I asked if she could just wait until the lock down was over to schedule my sessions, after all we had not even done one yet so what difference would it make and she already had my money. Nope and no. She kept my money and I never received a single "session" from her.
