I started taking classes at Yoga8 once my friend referred me to their 10 classes for $20 special. It was too good to pass up, as I'd been needing some sort of exercise during quarantine and was getting tired for just jogging around town. 2 months later, I'm the most physically fit I've ever been in my life. There are such a large multitude of classes that Yoga8 offers, that I feel like i can learn something new every time I decide to come. I now attend yoga about 4 times a week. The instructors are genius, especially Kim and Angela. Superb stuff. Truly my life has shifted this summer. I highly recommend giving it a try. There is something for everyone at any level. Yoga8 is the most amazing space to practice yoga. I am finishing up my first week (which is FREE) and I am already noticing a difference in my body and mind. Each instructor I have had at the studio is kind, knowledgeable, and passionate. They take the time to ask how you're doing and adjust the practice as needed to meet your needs and breathe into your tight spaces. The owner is very personable and fun to be around. The community is diverse and is compiled of people from all walks of life. I just moved to the Woodway/Hewitt area from Austin, and I'm so glad this place opened up! The only other yoga studio I know about in Waco is downtown, and it's not always practical for me to drive all the way there. Before this, I was taking flow classes at Gold's gym, which are nice for strengthening, but they're not traditional yoga classes and not really what I was looking for. So I'm happy there's a place in Woodway now! I am trying to get back into shape, and Yoga8 is really helping with that. There are classes for all levels, both hot and regular versions, and it's totally non-judgmental. I feel like Kimberly, the owner, truly loves helping people at any level of their fitness journey. I've only had classes with Kimberly so far, but I'm sure the other instructors are just as wonderful. The space is beautiful, too, and super relaxing. I highly recommend this place! read more

Kimberly is super welcoming when I arrived one minute before class. I did the kick-ur-asuna and she did just that... got my asuna kicked, haha. I live in Houston, and I agree with the other houstonian reviewer, and I can't find a place that offers such awesome stretching and killer yoga workouts (that are heated, but don't have to be) like I found at yoga 8. Super friendly and I really appreciated her calming words when we were grounding again. I love this place and every time I visit home - I will come here. Can't wait for Christmas!!! Great studio!! I'm new to yoga but I can say that I have had a great experience in all of the classes I've been in here. The instructors are all very professional and help you get the most out of each class no matter your skill level. There are classes for everyone here, they range from simple beginner to very intense classes that will challenge even the fittest athlete . I encourage you to check them out. read more

I've had trouble with shoulder pain, extreme reoccurring pain, and has raised my blood pressure in the past and I've needed shots to relieve it. You can imagine how amazed I was after an alignment session last night in this Yoga class when I was walking into work and realized that I'm not hurting! My shoulder is so much better! This studio is filled with so much love and encouragement! Genuine, talented, highly trained, and loving instructors! I've personally attended about 8 months of classes, attending anywhere from 4-5 classes a week, but i had to move to another city...so I'm sad to sad I can't go anymore! I miss this studio SO MUCH! Kim was mainly my instructor (she's the owner of Yoga8), and she was fabulous! When I first started yoga I knew nothing about it. I couldn't even touch my toes. With Kim's encouragement and training, I started to see my flexibility come to pass! By the second month or so I was doing inversions I never thought I could do. Then I was HOOOOOKED. I couldn't get enough! Kim is the real deal. If your in Waco, you gotta try this place out. Now that I'm in this new city, I can't find any yoga studio even remotely like Yoga8, and there's a ton here so that's saying a lot! Miss you Yoga8! read more

I'm down in Waco pretty frequently and I've been looking for some places to do some drop in Yoga. Last time I tried another place and while I enjoyed it, there was a little to be desired. Today I tried Yoga8 with Tomi as the instructor. I sincerely loved this class. A nice vinyasa flow class that used both English and Sanskrit names for the poses. It was wonderful. The breathing cues were on point and I really felt a oneness with this class. Even being the only guy wasn't awkward. Tomi had a wonderful voice and was a great guide on today's practice. I had never done any yoga before I started at Yoga8, I instantly felt welcomed and encouraged by owner Kimberly Damm. The energy she exudes is magnetic and inspiring! I've taken several classes from a few different instructors and I've enjoyed all of them, the classes themselves are just as described and the instructors are always so helpful.
