I enjoy a good cold dessert and I have to say, when my husband told me about this place a few days ago, I had to go check it out myself. I truly enjoyed the strawberry with a layer of chocolate. It was the best chocolate strawberry dessert I had. Topped with fresh strawberries, it was so refreshing and I loved it. It's my new favorite place to go and enjoy frozen yogurt. Excellent little yoga shop in the perfect location! Yogaberry is next to many good restaurants in the area in front of the beautiful water fountain. It is perfect for a dessert after a nice meal. The store is very tiny. You'll feel crowded when they have more than 6-8 customers inside. If you want a quick fix for your froyo cravings this place offers the froyo. Unfortunately if you're looking for more, the flavors are not that exciting and they have very few options. There were only 8 flavors total that get switched out "every few days." Probably the most "exciting" flavor they had was the tropical, which I actually quite enjoyed! The toppings that they offer are pretty standard, but there aren't any toppings that make this place stand out more than other froyo places. It's 57 cents per ounce, which they don't put anywhere. I had to ask the cashier to find that out. I thought it was cool that they had the option of filling up a cone with however much froyo you want for $5 (although I'm not sure how much froyo I can eat..) Overall, I wouldn't say this place is a must try if you're visiting the Town Center - it's pretty lackluster. I will say, though, that they are in a very nice location where you can sit outside while enjoying your froyo. read more

Today, may 24th at 1135am my family and I tried to enter your yogurt shop. We were stopped by one of your staff that he was still in the process of getting things ready and not yet open. I noticed the hours of business on your window of open daily at 11am and when I pointed this out to your staff he just continued to reply (while closing the door) that he still needed to do some things. Again, I said are you not open at 11, cause your sign says you are and it's now 1135. He continued to tell us very rudely that he wasn't ready. So not only was he late to work by more than 30 minutes but he still wasn't ready. And was rude to us. Never apologized for not being open. He seemed rather annoyed with us and kept closing the door on us. Lost some business and we spent our money at Baskin Robbins instead. Not happy read more

I am all for tart frozen yogurt & supporting local businesses so was thrilled to hear about the opening of Yogaberry. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the awkward setup of the store. There is something not intuitive, not feng shui about it. Of course the shop is very small to the point of being awkward, as other reviewers have mentioned, but I think this could be aided by a more inspired store layout. I'm personally not interested in eating inside, so its size didn't bother me as much as its layout. I also did not like the one-size-fits-all huge cups they have - it's a fact that the larger your plate, the more you'll eat. It makes me feel as though they are trying to get customers to subconsciously swirl more than they'd really like to eat. And the price - totally overpriced (the equivalent of Tasty Time's child size ($2) costs $3 here, 50% more), and I don't like the fact it's weighed. I prefer having S, M, L sizing and topping costs. Maybe weigh the toppings? It just makes you think... 39 cents an ounce = $6.25/lb. For sugar/dairy, some fruit (can you think of a fruit that costs more than $3-4/lb?!), rent, payroll, plastic spoons? Finally, a word on the plain tart yogurt: too sweet for my taste, but I must admit I am quite a frozen yogurt connoisseur and am probably more discerning about it than the average EDH customer. I wouldn't go out of my way for it if you have discerning taste. read more

The only frozen yogurt place by me at work, and I have to say, I am disappointed. I really, really, really want to like this place. Upon arriving, and even after I left, I was still hopeful that this place could be special. After some serious consideration and evaluation of the yogurt I purchased, I'm afraid this place does not quite fit the bill. The outdoor patio is gorgeous and really inviting. In fact, I appreciate that it's tucked aside from most of the Town Center location. So the outer appearance provides an encouraging entrance. However, once stepping inside, I was thrown. It was really compact. There were 6 of us in there, awkwardly trying to excuse ourselves from our lack of shoulder room. This was aggravated by the extremely loud, incredibly obnoxious music playing. It was at the sound level that one might play in a large, busy restaurant. It was unnecessary. That was accompanied by the children's animated movie (on silent) playing above the yogurt dispensers. It was oddly placed, and oddly chosen. Upon leaving, and eating my yogurt, I was left disappointed. It seems odd that frozen yogurt can be that, but it was. I got the pineapple and two other flavors that honestly, I don't remember what they were. The pineapple was the only one with any distinct flavor or creamy texture. The other two were a little runny. Even the cookie dough bits were just "eh." They tasted like cheap cookie dough and a little like....nothing at all. Sadly, I think I will just have to go without yogurt on my lunch hour breaks. read more

Second time coming here... and I would have to say I am disappointed. The first time I came here, the frozen yogurt was indeed frozen yogurt and had the right consistency. When I came back recently for the second time, consistency was not there... AT ALL. I always sample the frozen yogurt before I decide to pile some up in my own cup because... you just never know... again, consistency. First up was their original tart (my all time favorite). I pulled the handle down and a gloop of stuff came out. I thought to myself "interesting... I've never had frozen yogurt come out like melted ice cream..." and tried it anyway. It was WAYYYY too watery. I thought ok, maybe it was just the tart that was like that. Tried the irish mint. Same deal. A gloop of watery mess. I asked the girl working what was up with their consistency today and why their yogurt was so runny. Her response "It's probably not cold enough" uh.... OKAY?! DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! I will come back here in the future, but of course with hesitation because consistency is not something yogaberry has nor do they really care about really serving frozen yogurt. If I wanted melted gloop, I'll go to target and buy a pint of ice cream and let it melt in the 90 degree weather before eating it. read more

Yes, this is a much smaller yogurt shop than other yogurt shops, however, I really don't mind it. This yogurt shop is placed in the center of the beautiful El Dorado town center and its beautiful man-made lake right in front of this shop. What I love most about my summers was buying my tickets to watch a movie early, and coming by Yogaberry for some Yogurt and sitting outside by the lake. Yogaberry's location is spot on. A few times I've been there, they were either completely out of fresh fruit or running extremely low so the employee(just one) were in the middle of slicing and dicing and running the register at the same time. The mochi was pretty stale also, I'm guessing its not a popular topping so its been in and out of the fridge. read more

Cute place to take kids, but the owner definitely needs to figure out how to keep the trashy kids out of the store. There are about 9 pre-teens here, 4 which are stealing candy from the bins, yelling, saying "the N word" (and the kids are white) etc. They are about 10-14 years old, and we are pretty shocked by their blatant lack of respect for our very young children. Would love to see what their parents are like, or at least what the parents think of their behavior. So EDH parents, if you have boys aged above, who were in Town Center this afternoon, and you know these were your children, please have a talk with them. My 9-year old was disgusted by their behavior, so you can imagine our thoughts (and the thoughts of others around) I'm sure the negative atmosphere doesn't help this shops reputation. Sad, as it's a really cute spot for little kids! read more

There's compact and then there's cramped. Unfortunately, I have to classify this yogurt joint as the latter. It's unfortunate that the owners decided to open this place up in such a small space because there are so many attractive points to this establishment. Besides being the ONLY yogurt joint in EDH, Yogaberry also offers a lovely patio in which you can enjoy your yogurt while day dreaming in front of a small lake complete with fountain. I also enjoy the fact that their fruit selection (while limited) always seems to be pretty fresh. Unfortunately, I've come here too many times (during the summer) and found this place brimming with hordes of sweating denizens trying to escape the heat. Small spaces don't handle this kind of traffic very well (BO anyone?) so I've just started driving further out in order to satisfy my yogurt fix. read more

The yogurt is okay; service is terrible! We went there this evening and I clearly interrupted the girl in the shop...she was busy on either a smartphone or iPad. She was unbelievably rude. Afterward, I sat outside and was telling my husband about it when two people behind me came out with yogurt. I stopped them and asked how she was to them and they said the same thing, i.e., "Rude!!!" The guy said he couldn't believe how overpriced it was, and they hardly got any. I will never go back. read more

Cramped Space + Lack of Mochi I've been waiting to try yogaberry for a while now but couldn't because 1) they don't have a website! 2) they close at 10pm Finally this Saturday was girl's night out! We walked into the store and it was really small. They had 4 flavors: mango, plain tart, chocolate, and french vanilla. Toppings: fresh strawberries, mango, cantaloupe, pineapple, yogurt chips, waffle cone pieces, candy... the usual There is no place to sit down inside... so if you decide to go there in the winter, you can't hang out inside... The yogurt is 39cents per oz. The mango was good, a little intense but that's what I like. The plain was not very tart... The store was very clean, well organized, and neat. My complaints: no mochi! We need some chewy texture! (so peach pit is still my #1 pick for frozen yogurt) no place to sit! So you can stroll around outside while eating your yogurt or sit outside by the artificial lake/fountain. It's nice to sit outside on a warm summer night but what are we going to do in the winter time? and no website! We need to know the hours listed somewhere... does the store have wifi? read more

On a summer Friday night, the town center is alive and thriving. Restaurants are full, people are strolling along the water's edge, watching the fountain. We decided to check out Yogaberry. People were outside, hanging out and enjoying frozen yogurt. We walk in and it's a very small place. Cozy is what you can call it. You have to stop and get your bearings after walking in. Fro-yo machines dead ahead (a couple were acting up, not working), cups and toppings on the left, syrups and fruits to the right. You practically pivot around the get things. There were 4 people (1 staff included) in the place. Crowded. The dry toppings I placed on my soft/melted/melting frozen yogurt were stale. Especially the coconut. It's been there a while. The plain frozen yogurt tasted like a milk slushie. I wanted to put more fruit, but the blackberries had a bug crawling around (lids aren't the kind that seal... at all). So it crawled in. The liquid-filled boba balls were also stale. They should burst when bitten. These didn't. They were like a half-filled water balloon. Positive note: The chocolate frozen yogurt was delicious. (Still not worth returning as I've had equally, if not better chocolate frozen yogurt.) As much as I wanted to frequent this establishment, I can't. You're better off going to Nu-Yo down the hill. read more

My friend dragged me to Yogaberry praising the wonders of the yogurt. It was a mediocre experience to me. There were four flavors only - plain, chocolate, oreo cookie and vanilla. Mind you I'm allergic to chocolate so my options were very limited in terms of the flavor of yogurt. I did try a spoonful of both the oreo cookie and the chocolate and the flavors are ok, no after taste. The shop itself is literally a hole in the wall. I think 5 people inside would be a violation of fire code. The usual toppings were available and yes mochi was missing. They had fresh figs though. It was clean inside the shop itself but the door was left propped open so I wondered how many bugs have flown in to hang out on the spoons? Seating is limited to the outside which is fine on a warm day. The location is bad. It has a tiny sign and I got directions from my friend to find it. I must have walked passed it twice. Overall the frozen treat was ok. The experience isn't anything to write home about. read more
