Studio is very clean and staff are all welcoming and friendly. Parking is available on the Green St. bridge over the freeway which the studio pays for. Classes don't feel too congested even when highly booked. There's markers on the floor indicating where to place your mat to help with the spacing. I really appreciate the care and attention by all front of house and teaching staff. Everyone shows consideration and care for our individual and collective well being. There are class options for all levels, there's equipment to borrow (blocks and straps), locker rooms are neat and tidy, and they provide filtered water (refill station) and cool towels after each class. I regularly take classes with Gabby, Erin and Miriam. I have a lot of appreciation for Miriam who pushes me to strengthen my form and practice, but provides a lot of grace. read more

I started taking yoga classes here at YogaSix since their grand opening in October. Previous to this, I have never really taken any yoga classes except twice in 5 years. Both times I couldn't quite grasp the poses or the flow, so I never thought I would take up yoga. I exercise routinely and yoga has been a great addition to my workout routine. YogaSix helped me find my comfort zone in yoga and I look forward to taking classes. The staff here are the most friendliest people you will ever meet. They are so sweet and kind, and they take time to learn your name and make sure you're enjoying the class. The teachers are also really awesome and engaging also. As a beginner I found 101 classes very helpful to learn the basic and fundamental poses before diving into more advanced classes. Now I love the slow flow and power classes, and I can see my core strength getting stronger. Restore is great for stretching and sculpt class is an absolute killer! I'll never get used to the heat (100-102 F) but the cold eucalyptus towel at the end of the class is a little perk that I look forward to! read more

I needed a low-key, stretch and restore type of class. Dahhee ran the first Restore class I took. She is amazing, and the soothing music, low lighting, and focus on stretches, with the room heated to 90 was a perfect fit. I've signed up for eight classes a month, which fits my schedule. Eduardo is also a great instructor with a sense of humor. Sofia is another wonderful instructor; very supportive. I can go in the evenings or midday, so there's a lot of opportunities to get in the right class. read more

Finding a yoga studio that you really love can be a challenge... I have to say that I was so excited when I took my first class as YogaSix in Pasadena. I had taken classes at YogaSix in San Diego and Chicago and had great experiences there so I wasnt surprised when I had a wonderful first experience with YogaSix Pasadena. From the owner Cheri and Eric, to some of the other staff and instructors Leah and Erin, everyone is so incredibly friendly and they have created an atmosphere that gets you excited to take classes. Every class I have tried- (Restore & Y6 Hot Yoga are my favorite). The class size is just the right amount, and you even get a cold towel waiting for you when you leave class. They also have great incentives, and challenges that make it fun. Overall its really a wonderful community they are building, and I highly suggest you give them a try! :) read more

I loved everything about my first class at YogaSix Pasadena. It can be daunting to visit a new studio for the first time, and I never once felt that way here. I was welcomed right in and had an absolute blast taking the Y6 Power class. I actually found myself smiling on my mat through the poses several times. Erin led a great class that both challenged me and comforted me as I reconnected my mind and body in what felt like the first time since I moved to LA three years ago. This is the best experience I could've asked for in a yoga studio. This is my first time actually going to a yoga studio after doing small 10 minute yoga exercises at home with YouTube. This studio made me feel at home. It's located right on the corner in a beautiful area, two doors down from a little coffee shop. When you walk in, you are always greeted by one of the owners. Very clean facility. The instructors are what really keep me here. They do an amazing job of encouraging you (sometimes even complimenting you by name in class), giving clear instructions, and letting you know that it is YOUR practice so make it your own. I'm a fit "60 plus" year old who used to do Bikram hot yoga years ago. I decided to try the Yoga six in Pasadena and its fantastic. Great classes for all levels. My favorite class is the slow flow but can't wait to try restore and even the hot yoga. Every teacher I've had is terrific and good at adjusting your positions. Room temperature is warm but not stifling. Very comfortable and good for the muscles! Highly recommend! read more

Why I LOVE and recommend this studio... *Class variety: SIX different class types, SIX! I don't always feel up for an intense workout or a hot class so I love that they offer more relaxed ones as well, like restore. I also love that there is such variety so I am not doing the same workout over and over. *Class times are ideal: They even offer lunch time classes which is so convenient with teleworking. The evening classes start at 6pm which is convenient for a standard 9-5 workday. *Instructors: I love them ALL! They are all so helpful and motivating and let you know if you aren't quite in the right position for a pose. *I am always greeted with a smile and a hello when I enter the studio! *They offer workshops which are a really fun way to add to your practice and you get to know the instructors even better. *They hold community events sometimes like wine after class or chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine's Day. But most of all, it is because I feel like part of a COMMUNITY vs just a workout studio! read more

I came here for a class a few months ago with a friend while I was in the area visiting my parents. I can honestly say this is probably one of my favorite yoga studios I have visited. The entire space was clean and modern with facilities available. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. I did the Slow Flow class, which was slightly heated and I really enjoyed it! It was less hot than your normal hot yoga class but heated enough that you still sweat and it still helped to loosen muscles. I'm sad that I don't live close enough to a YogaSix studio at home, but I can't wait until they open more branches in the Bay Area. In the meantime, I look forward to dropping by when I'm in town to visit my parents! read more

The class, a popular one, was decent and the instructor was extremely friendly and used individual names to reinforce us during class. Unfortunately, safety doesn't seem to be an issue that's been fully addressed at this studio. The instructor did not give cues for those doing things that could cause injury or imbalance in the body, but it was full and fast paced so probably not possible to do at all times. However, someone in the lobby, presumably the owner (given the conversations and his activities there) who hopefully??? does not practice yoga, was fast and loose with a patron's safety as she explained the chronic malnutrition from illness and injuries she had and questioned which class she belonged in, and he actively recommended something no YTT, gym or studio owner, or any medical professional would given the info provided by the client- to get money from one class? I was expecting better and am sorely disappointed, as well as discontinuing my relationship with this studio immediately. read more

My experience here has been very positive from the day I signed up when Leah welcomed me with a tour and explained all the classes they offer to enjoying Yoga 101 and Slow Flow where the instructors are open to letting you go at your own pace. I love that I feel accepted and not judged if I can't keep up or do some of the poses just yet. The place is really clean and I love the cold eucalyptus towels at the end of the class.
