Only 15 minutes from AC, great location for doing activities in and outside of AC. As much as we enjoyed our stay, the villa had few issues. They are deteriorating, as doors in our rooms would open with a push, even though they are locked, so no privacy. Bathroom door at the entrance wouldn't even close. There were spider in the curtains and some doors with broken knobs. I hope the hotel manages to keep up the quality of these villas as the years pass by.

I interacted with three or four of the staff during my visit and they were all friendly and efficient. They offer free coffee and tea all day,(including iced coffee) and cookies. There's a continental breakfast served in a cute basket. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I thought the prices were fair, particularly as it's going into their high season. I have some mobility issues, so was looking for an accessible room. Room 106 is listed as accessible with a walk in tub, but I'm not sure I'd classify it as really accessible. It's a largish room, but they have replaced the walk in tub with a traditional tub. I don't recall seeing a bath seat, but not 100% sure about that. I had originally booked this room, and when I said I would have trouble with getting in and out of a regular tub, they immediately offered me another room, which was actually an upgrade. Many of the rooms have separate showers, but they aren't roll in. You need to step up slightly to get in the shower. I enjoyed staying in the Village and did some fun shopping and had some good meals. The employees on the property were very friendly. I'll definitely be back.

Red wine cheese spreads chocolate truffles wine glasses in beautiful basket with a big red bow. I opened the door and see this I start literally crying how beautiful it was with the Christmas lights in the background plus our room being on the water it just was a movie set. My mom still talks about it and I can't express it enough how grateful and thankful I am for this memory. Shannon you truly did that for us . In the hotel industry you need more people that make your stay feel like home, not like you're in a dorm. This place has comfortable rooms, we were supposed to stay one night and ended up staying two just because we enjoyed the morning breakfast so much. Our experience was absolutely unacceptable. After traveling across the country, we arrived at 9:00…read morep.m. expecting to check into our confirmed reservation, only to be told that the hotel had canceled it because they had oversold the property. The staff offered no meaningful assistance or alternative accommodations. Even worse, the front desk employee was actually laughing while telling us this and casually mentioned that there were four other families still waiting to be informed that their reservations had also been canceled. Instead of getting settled after a long day of travel, we spent the next hour scrambling to find another hotel late at night. Because of the last-minute situation, we had no choice but to pay nearly double what our original reservation would have cost. To add insult to injury, the hotel had already placed a hold on our credit card, tying up those funds while we were trying to secure another place to stay. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had. A confirmed reservation should actually mean something. We will never stay at this hotel again, and after the way this situation--and the lack of concern shown by the staff--was handled, we will be reconsidering Marriott for future travel as well.
