I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Yogis, and I must say it was one of the most disappointing restaurant visits I've ever had. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that something was terribly wrong. The ambiance was lackluster, and the overall atmosphere was unwelcoming. My concerns began with the abysmal service. Despite there being several staff members present, it seemed as though I was completely invisible to them. I was repeatedly ignored while attempting to get their attention. It was disheartening to see the employees engaged in casual conversations and even making fun of customers behind their backs. Such unprofessional behavior is simply unacceptable in any establishment, let alone a supposedly reputable restaurant. As for the food, it was nothing short of a disaster. I decided to try their crunch bowl, expecting a flavorful and satisfying meal. To my dismay, the food that arrived was far from what was promised. The presentation was sloppy, and the taste was an utter disappointment. The dishes lacked seasoning, and it was evident that little effort had been put into their preparation. It felt like I was served reheated leftovers from the previous day. Furthermore, the portion sizes were incredibly small, especially considering the exorbitant prices they charged. It felt like a blatant attempt to squeeze as much money as possible out of unsuspecting customers, without any regard for their satisfaction. To make matters worse, when I finally mustered the courage to complain about the poor service and subpar food, I was met with indifference and a complete lack of concern from the management. It was evident that customer satisfaction was not a priority for Yogis. It is truly disappointing to witness such apathy towards patrons who put their trust and hard-earned money into a dining experience. I cannot stress enough how deeply unsatisfied I am with my visit to Yogis. The combination of terrible food, unprofessional behavior, and a complete lack of customer care has left me with a sour taste in my mouth, both figuratively and literally. I strongly advise others to reconsider visiting this establishment if they value their time, money, and overall dining experience. Man still continue to amaze me with great service, atmosphere, and most of all food. I didn't recognize the the guy up front but he was really genuine, helpful all around, and man this guy had the dopest vibe I swear. The last time I ate here I really enjoyed it so decided to drop a little extra for this time around. I had the beef yakisoba noodles, had to try the Arizona bowl, 2 sushi rolls the rainbow and the yogi roll (first try), and 2 kids teriyaki bowls. The beef yakisoba was an excellent start, beef was so tender and the noodles had a perfect firmness to it, and the sauce that the meat was covered with I personally wanted more sauce that was used with it and the man up front John was eager to help me with my request and get me what I wanted, he also made sure that the kiddos were doing good and if they needed anything which I thought was a plus. Now the Arizona bowl is genius I might add! You get cool, savory, zesty,warm and refreshing flavors all in one little bowl. Now my 2 favorite parts were the rainbow roll and the yogi roll. Now for the rainbow one, hands down absolute favorite! Why not? It's salmon, tuna, eel, and avocado on top of a Cali roll! Dude that was a legit roll for real sushi eaters. Now the yogi roll was quite unique like the Arizona bowl but this one had a nice kick of spiciness along with a good crunch ya know. Items I Ordered: Beef Teriyaki Bowl Beef Yakisoba 2 pc shrimp Tempura Croquette (Drink cup) My friend Kylene and I came in today looking for a chill work environment and we got exactly what we wished for! The staff was really interactive, kind, and attentive. They got our orders in and our food out within 10 minutes. They checked in on us throughout our stay (about an hour) and made sure everything was good. They prebussed our table, were diligent in their cleaning, and took customer service to the next level. At most restaurants or diner joints now, even basic customer service is lacking. The fact that Yogi's is going above and beyond to keep their customers happy really makes the experience worth it. The person who mainly helped us is named John, and he really contributed to the chill atmosphere. Everything was running smooth and it really showed because the workers were genuinely happy. I would highly reccomend this place to people looking for a nice, chill place to do work! read more

I went today at around 11:30 (they opened at 11), so it wasn't packed at all making it really easy to get in and out of the parking lot. The parking lot is really big making it easy to find parking. The menu was pretty simple and laid out well, they even have a $10 lunch special that they advertise. When you walk in, you order on the right and sit on the left, fairly evenly spread out. Customer service was great, they were patient with me as I decided what to order. It was fairly empty and they play radio station music, smelled normal with a vague design. Ordered a beef teriyaki bowl and asked for it to go. They gave me a plastic bag, with a fork, extra teriyaki sauce, and sent me on my way after about 2 minutes of waiting. Yogis has many different locations so they aren't limited to a specific area. Great food and service today, and I can't wait to come back! read more

I come to Phoenix every year for Spring Training and Yogis Grill at the Tempe Marketplace is my go-to place to eat. The chicken and beef bowls are delicious and they give a generous amount of food for a very reasonable price. My annual Spring Training trip usually lasts a week and I literally eat here every night -- that's how much I love this place. The place is clean and the service is very fast. Danny is awesome! He always has a smile on his face and is very warm and welcoming. He's extremely helpful and friendly, and if you need anything he's right there to help you. The rest of the Yogis crew are also top-notch. Kudos to the owners for hiring such great people that make the dining experience so pleasant! I always look forward to coming back every spring... to watch baseball and to eat at Yogis! read more

John was awesome and the food was great. It was quick and delicious. The employees were great. You can tell they really enjoy working there. it comes across in the service. John was at the register taking our order and April delivered it to us when it was ready. They said they were under new management and remodeled the place. Looks great. They added new barstools by the window and it was enjoyable sitting there while we ate. I would recommend the Miso soup, which is very hot, as well as the katsu chicken. Portions are very good and prices are reasonable. I always end up leaving with a to go box because I can't finish all of it in one sitting. Yogis Grill is a great example of excellent quality dinner. I come with my friends and they have a blast . I definitely recommend this location when it comes to the flavor of food . I just recently went back to this Yogis after being out of state for a few months. This place was nice back then, but even better now. They are under new and better management and have remodeled the dining area. Looks lovely. The food has always been good and the customer service is outstanding. John took my order, made me laugh, and delivered my order to my table when it was ready (not normal for a fast casual type of place). He even brought us our forks and some napkins for my daughter. This is probably the best yogis I've ever been too in Tempe it was my first time ever trying yogis grill but I've heard many great things about it.the customer service was amazing and the food was spectacular. My top recommendation would be the chicken bowl it comes with teriyaki chicken and rice it was to die for. This is my favorite Chinese style food place to eat at. The food is delicious and cost affordable, and the service is amazing! Especially Danny, he always is so bubbly and personable and makes you feel welcomed. The staff has great customer service and always takes care of us even with our picky orders haha. I really enjoy the music they play, and the good vibes the restaurant crew gives off. Absolutely 10/10 customer service. We had an Uber Eats order and the driver left a bag behind so I called the store and spoke to John and he let me know they still had the food so I told him I'd be there to pick it up shortly. I arrived and Endy made me a fresh order because she couldn't find our bag. She was incredibly sweet and apologetic about the situation. When I arrived home, someone from the store personally drove out to deliver the food to us. Super appreciative of them going above and beyond! This was one of my most pleasant experiences. My coworker called in a order for five people. I got to the store to pick up the food and was told they didn't have a order for me. I called my coworker who informed me that she had forgot to call so I informed the guy taking orders and said no problem. He took my order which I was paying individually for. Endi! From the Tempe market location was beyond beyond perfection! Endi greeted us as soon as we walked in the door with a huge smile! He was very patient with us as we looked at the menu and even told us about the specials that they were having and answered all the questions we had. We were leaving Tempe Marketplace and walked by Yogis Grill. We decided to stop in there and give it a try. We had great service from Teresa! She brought our food to us (we had several orders) and interacted with our kids (my daughter even hugged her). The food was excellent and such a great value. We ordered a few rolls of sushi, a big beef bowl and a few udon. We will definitely be coming back.
